Yeah, Survive Knives the company that took my money 18 months ago moved from Idaho to Pennsylvania will not respond to Emails and only provides Knives to reviewers to get more suckers to place orders that they will never fulfill.
Right. This arrives at your door in 4 days
Survive Knives is a scam!
Yeah i pre ordered a survive knife last month before i saw all the drama. It seems like most of the long waits are either magnacut knives or the GSO 10/12 knives. I got a 3v knife so hoping i won't be waiting that long.
I out of my money too. Ordered back in 2022 and then asked for a refund and no reply back!
Great video, thanks.
Love this knife collection of Architect Knives.
Musical batoning is possibly a TH-cam first.
Great belt and camp knife that is strong enough to be a survival knife. But also a great slicy and comfortable size for camp knife.
Survival knives 4 inches plus are better than nothing. But 5 inches or more can definitely be considered long and good for survival knives.
Big is better for survival knives to build shelters and to baton for fire prep.
Good test of the steel hitting the knife on the metal tree stump. A lesser steel may have chipped real bad.
Good color for basic belt knife, but the orange is awesome for your bigger, more dedicated survival knife. 🔪
Thank you so much
Good vid, 5.5 inch blade is about perfect for bushcrafting.
That knives looks very nice. Wow
Just ordered the 4.5 that dropped today in Magnacut. Can't wait to test it out.
Very cool knife, seems well made and I like the design. Thanks for sharing, take care and Cheers!
Thank you 😊
Cool knife as love the grey....You are now the feather stick king....Nice pick up....Good stuff....
Don’t you wish it was green though? Lol
@@peterbiltknifeguy If money....YES.......😂😂😂😂😂😂
I'm waiting for them to drop the 5.5 in magnacut. I already have the 6.5 in 3V and love it.
It's probably the best all purpose survival life I have used so far. Takes a hell of a beating when batoning.
They sure do. I’m interested in the magnacut one also
Y can get down with this. It’s a solid looking and performing knife. White River dose damn good with OEM.👊🔥🔥🔥👌
Thank you. I’m kinda digging it
I love 3v. That's a really good looking knife. And with those RAT/Esee design handle scales I know its comfy!
Very much so
Nice...I’m jealous! It is cool to have a drawer full of similar knives with lots of swappable parts...
lol. And the dang drawer keeps getting fuller
Lol
I just got the Architect 6.5 in (Magnacut). It's awesome
Looks good man! Enjoy!
Thanks! Will do!
I’m an early adopter of Architect Knives. I have the 6.5 in 3V back when they branded it the “Field Buddy”. Also have the AK8 in Magnacut and it’s an absolute lightweight monster. Architect Knives is one the best values on the production side of the knife market bar none.
They definitely are fantastic
I knew it was going to be white river knives lol. They really make great stuff Im so glad they finally get love they deserve. I like a said to Aaron at Gideons tactical the ursus and white river is a hidden gem in the knife world
They really are
@@peterbiltknifeguy you should really try the ursus 45 or the pko I love those two
Looks like a great size for general use and hunting. The 6.5 is a bit more of a survival sized knife. If I had the money I think I'd try the whole lineup. Every size they offer interests me. I think Architect knives will be very successful.
PS I am pretty impressed with 3V so far. I've used the knife a lot and no signs of dulling at all yet.
I’m impressed with this brand also. 3v is my favorite steel
I got the 6.5 in magnacut last month waiting for them to drop the AK 8 in 3v
Yesssss
Nice video! I love Architect Knives. Best value for the price
They are awesome. Thank you
I feel stupid until today i didnt knkow architect knives had their own website! Now im ordering a bunch haha
😂 be careful. It’s addictive
It looks like the larger knife only has an extra quarter inch of usable blade because of the finger choil. How much difference is there in price? I love those esee pouches. I just put one on my big adventure knife. Without the tin, I fit a leatherman, small flashlight, a large ferro rod, a lighter and a fishing kit!
The price difference isn’t very much. 20 bucks or so. But honestly depends on how you set it up
Awesome video and review! May I know the precise weight of the AK 5.5 please? Curious to know how much it weighs with the G10 scales. Thanks!
I’m honestly not sure. I don’t have a scale to weigh it
I think you should do a direct comparison field test, would be really entertaining and informative.
Between the 5.5 and 6.5?
@@peterbiltknifeguy yeah that. Nobody's really done it yet so i think it would be cool
@@gigglewumpus very true
Well i just came home from gun and knife show where i sold $1400.00 worth of my knives.😢. still have a pile of knives just put a dent in it. But i dont have 300 anymore. Might have to add this to the pile to stop the bleeding 😊
This was only 200
That table identifies as a manhole cover.
😂
Would you consider these knives to be as good as Esee knives in quality?
Better
When you gonna show us any of your tips on getting them that sharp! Lol please with cheese..
I have a sharpening playlist.
Awesome found it! Thank you sir!
How does 3V compare to Aus-8?
I don’t think it does. They both are really tough. But 3v will have much more edge retention
What do you use as a strop?
A piece of raw leather
brother, we share the same taste in knives i see...i am torn between the architect 6.5 and the wolverine...if you could only have one which one are u taking?
Honestly the wolverine. But honestly the ak6.5 is right there
@@peterbiltknifeguy exactly what I was thinking... gotta be lucky to get a wolverine... aks are whenever I want... very true
Is that a good length of knife for 3v?
Any length is in my opinion
👍👍👍.🇺🇲🔪🔥🌲
1095 blades are made by Rowen, not TOPS. Smh Smh...
I don’t know where you are getting that information. But you are incorrect
Tops makes the 1095 blades for Architect Knives. Rowen makes the 1095 blades for Esee.
Ohhh its that kind of company... shit. I orded a Koster knives Nessmuk. Dan Koster the owner took in orders and never did the knives. So money down the drain. Thief
What kind of company?
@@peterbiltknifeguy a scam
How is it a scam?
@@peterbiltknifeguy Sounds like he’s referring to Survive!
