    I like that you can access the center undercarriage area unlike the one piece scissor lift. Seems like residential delivery would be a hassle for me without a lift gate truck or a forklift. I'll have to look into delivery to a local terminal where they could load it to my trailer.

This might be exactly what I'm looking for because I have a variety of vehicles: Expedition, Miata, BMW and I really disliked the idea of going with a two-post lift in my home garage. Unlike some of the other lifts, this lift looks like it can get my Expedition up high enough to work on it. I'm going to check out your other videos to see if you have it in action with the Expy.

    Thank you for the great review! Regarding the Twin Bush TW S3-10E vs the Quick Jack 7000 TL....I feel the Twin Bush appears more beefy. However, there is one thing I am struggling with when it comes to the Twin Bush. While you can certainly move it around, what are you going to do if you need to get it out of the way? Gas Tachs garage is pretty bi, so you can move it to another bay. If you do not have that luxury, or are using the second bay, where are you going to put this one? It looks like both ramps are connected. Not to advertise Quick Jack here as I have no affiliation (just looking for an inexpensive and sturdy solution myself), but the QJ is about $1k cheaper- nothing to sneeze at for me....

    Hi Warrick, Many thanks for making this video. I just want to let you know that I purchased this lift from the link that you provided on EBAY. The first thing different is that mine doesn't say Twin Busch on it. It is just like yours, the same color, but it says XinKong on the control tower. I am impressed by how easy it is to move in my garage and with the structure quality. I have one question though. Mine came with a 110V cord already attached to the tower. When I plug it in to a standard 110V outlet nothing happens when I push the buttons. When I read the writing on the lift pump it says 220V. So I emailed the seller auto-repair-equipment and told them. They responded "This model is for 220 volt if manufacture put a 110 volt pulg on this unit plz use a 220 volt plug adapter will fix the issue." My question to you sir is do you use a 220V to 110V adapter on yours? If you do use an adapter, please respond with a link for the proper adapter so I do not ruin this brand new unit by doing something wrong. Thank you

  • @stellijer

    I was going to dismiss this until you put a corvette on it.
    A couple questions though:
    1) Doesn't the bar keep from using a creeper or mobile chair? It's not high enough to stand under.
    2) Just how high does it go up?
    3) It looked like the front tire was hitting the lift on the vette? Or very close?
    4) Seems a bit expensive - I'm seeing prices nearly $3000
    4) How would you store this if you don't have room in your garage floor to the side?

  • @RotaxXS

    Hi friend, question for you. Have you found any vehicles that were not able to work due to the drive over platforms being the jack points? Reason I ask is because I have a big range of vehicles by size (tiny bmw z4, c6 corvette, several hummers, and a humvee). My concern is that I will find a limitation with where the platforms don't reach the jacking points on the vehicles. I am debating between this lift and a similar midrise that uses adjustable arms to pivot around to the lift points of the vehicles but Ive love to hear if you came across any vehicles personally that didn't work. My widest vehicle (humvee) is 84" wide. From what I see online, these tracks around about 75" wide so driving over them with the humvee may be difficult. Cheers!

      I have the S-19 and I never got mine working either. It won’t work with 30 amps. It won’t reliably lift the platform itself . It’s the most expensive raised desk I have ever owned. All they do is blame the power and offer no real help. Even if you do get these lifts working, you shouldn’t trust it to be able to get it down if it gets stuck on the locks. Maybe these work in Europe, but not in the US. I can’t even get them to sell me a new motor. So in my opinion, if you can’t get parts from this company, it’s worthless even if it’s built well.

    So being a bigger guy, how uncofrtable is it getting to the middle of the car to do a midpipe, or whatever else one would need to do in the center without being able to roll a chair under?

    I've had mine for about 2 years and was told my Twin Busch not to lift trucks because they aren't balanced and of course the bulk of the weight is towards the front and could damage the lift. Ha e you had any troubles lifti g your trucks?

    • @GasTachs
      @GasTachs  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The biggest issue I have had is if the weight is not centered left to right the lift does not like that. Other than that all good

    We have this same lift, I dont like that you have to add wood or ramps to use the lift,. or modify the concrete or flooring. and its too long it hits almost all the tires of each car, so its not very easy to use, cant just drive a car up, set blocks and lift. Useful but a pain at times.

    • @GasTachs
      @GasTachs  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I think any type of "on ground" floor will have these problems. the best solution would be to out one in ground.

    • @audiorat1
      @audiorat1 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@GasTachs I called them. They said due to the nature of the scissor lift, there has to be higher "pre-lift" in order to lift heavier vehicle such as Model Y. The vehicle is lower than normal vehicle which add to the problem. The solution is to add more platform for it to drive on so the lift has more leverage and better angle for the hydraulic system to extend. I think it's kinda like you need to extend the radius to apply more torque.
