This archetype is honestly one of my favorite things. Sure, Extraction effects are only good against combo decks... but if you have enough of them, any deck is a combo deck. It's also deliciously salty, because your opponent ends up losing to a deck that conventional wisdom says is completely terrible.
It's one of those weird things about Magic, like how Lantern works despite consisting primarily of objectively terrible cards, or how threatening a combo can be stronger than actually executing it (see Temur Twin for a good example of this).

When Unglued first came out, my buddy built decks to play each other. One deck I ran used Hey Look at Me Im The DCI combined with Erradicate and Quash with Enter The Dungeon and a Shaharazd (we allowed a few proxies) to ban and exile my friends entire deck. With a set of Double effect cards (broken in subgames) you have so much advantage as more and more subgames start.
    This seems far more efficient.

I really love this kind of "anti-meta" deck

This makes me nostalgic for the miserable Seasons Past list I played at one time that kept looping all the removal from the graveyard and included this exile all of style card so in one game I just exiled all of my opponent's real cards.

This reminds me of an Ice Age-era deck built around Orcish Spy and Millstone, ensuring that they drew all or no land

Deadly cover-up can exile basic lands in somebody’s deck too. so against mono color decks it’s particularly fun.

I have this deck in Historic with surgical extraction, KTCG, challice of the void, stoneclaw talisman and night of soul’s betrayal. It’s super fun.

I think a Slime Against Humanity with Cut Your Losses would be a very fun Standard Against the Odds.
The deck I run has 30 copies of Slime, 90 cards total and I run things like Academy Wall, Fallaji Archaeologist and Picklock Prankster.
It's surprisingly good and lots of fun to play

At 10:14 why didn't you blow up the land with Ossification on it with Field of ruin and get back Ketose and exile another bunch of cards?

This deck looks crazy villainous and I love it.
Also have a future idea for against the odds. Currently trying to brew an explorer/pioneer Crime Novelist "Storm" Deck. Not having too much luck so far, but curious how you would do and if maybe its better for another format?

I know Jace isn't supposed to be our finisher but I am so happy he is such an effective finisher especially sine most people never thought he would be that good when he came out.

There are deck trackers that keep track of what you've seen in your opponent's deck. Those will be a god-send in this type of deck.

Brings back memories, I actually had a flicker deck in return to ravnica standard and would just cast slaughter games over and over with archaeomancer just for the cruel laughs..

This theme gives me major Jester's Cap vibes, only on steroids lol. The Cap only let you exile 3 cards from your opponent's deck. This is on a whole other level 🤣
Edit: That reanimator deck he faced off against that had Atraxias in it ALSO had a Jin-Gitaxias in the GY at time index 30:37 which to me seemed to be the biggest threat since it auto-counters the first Artifact, Instant, or Sorcery spell your opponents cast and lets your copy spells of the same type, which can be used to make infinite combos quite easily. I'd have removed that one ASAP before the others 🤔

I've been playing a variation of this idea in historic for a few years with unmoored ego and Necromentia to just disassemble opponent's decks out from under them. Very hit or miss at times but very fun

I've been playing a version in modern, I love this archetype and the surprising variety that you can get out of it.

It would be awesome if you'd include the wildcard count for these decks.
Regardless, hilarious video. I almost want to make it, but I have no idea of what is played in standard
