ooof that steering! reminds me of the cc01. some have said its the saver but im scared its just the geometry like on the tamiya (whose design they no doubt copied to some degree)
More videos!!! :D Does the ESC have an on/off button? Its a bit of a hazzle to alyways open the battery door and connect the battery manually everytime... Also, the servo for the locking diffs is it a standard servo or micro/mini? Vielen dank!! :)
Daniel btw.. the esc is it a crawler esc with drag brake? I Was wondering how it performed in steep hills and such. Is it worth buying the artr and buy “quality” crawler electronics?.. Danke!
This rig is a glorified model. This truck provides zero performance. You can tow your boat to the launch and that's it my friend. It provides the illusion of performance and that's it. Brushless will destroy this rig in seconds. this is a diarama king period.
Ha, funny. I'd never buy a rig like this. In my version of the hobby scale and performance are of equal value. But this isn't everyone's view so I have friends and friends in the rc community who have purchased this model expecting some amount of performance and were sadly unhappy with the purchase. For folks looking for a working model of a stock raptor this is a great buy. But for me in my realm of rc this rig is pointless. But for me rc is all about the individual and what they like. So for folks who love this truck I am happy for you. I dont want to put forth that this truck has no purpose, because it does, it is more that I know many guys who expected some amount of performance. I must say I am not the best guy to review rigs because I have zero tolerance for poor untested designs. I am a fabricator and machinist so i often just make and design my own parts, but i dont try and reinvent the wheel. If a chassis is proven i will run it, i also chose proven models with heavy after market support and upgrade parts. My first choice is not to fabricate my own parts if i dont need to. I hope you enjoy your desert truck and I hope it performs well for you. Tschuss

I see it not as a crawler but more as a super scale rc model thats 4wd. I was not planning on taking it to big rocks, just flat/muddy hills like a real raptor could do with ease. Im fine just driving around slowly and peacefully :)
I am happy this rig suits your needs. It is just a bummer that this truck isn't more usable especially for the cost of the rig. Vile spass mit das auto!

Have fun with your trailer on tarmac cuz that is all this truck will do. You will not reach the trailhead with your crawler using this rig.
