I love that the rc hobby is going towards more scale looking vehicles. That concept is what brought me back to the hobby after about a decade away and I hope the trend continues
I'm into any rc hobby and I'm a kid I save up all my mony to get rc cars. Planes and boats I have a 1/6 red cat shredder ,1/8 rc boat ,3 drones, 1/12 rc truck

Very cool. I like the way that truck is built. With a full frame and front mounted engine. As though they tried to keep the design somewhat loyal to the real thing. There's room for improvement. That is part of the fun though. You could modify the body and make the hood open. Heck, make the entire front clip rock forward to open. Like a fiberglass or carbon body would. Shoot, make the front clip rock open and make the hood open like a stock pickup. That would be real neat. Thanks for the video !
They really knocked it out of the park with this one. It is spot on the real thing. The only feature I would like to see is a 2 wd / 4wd option just so you could throw some dirt with the back tires on the trail if you wanted to, but this looks built way beefier then the TF2, which is a good thing.

After seeing what you can do with the RC world, just like yesterday i was a little kid watching your builds and i would paide.go outside, bash my traxxis 2x4 stamped still the battery died and i come back and watch your videos with the 6x6 and pinky! You and your videos made me get off my butt and get a job to get that first RC truck wish i could put more money and get a scale truck or something newer but watching yours videos till this day still make me smile and inspire me! Hello Medic, beautiful raptor! I have chassis #25 and I’m fairly happy with mine! Except my front passenger shock started to leak oil and I lost one of the rear plastic shock protectors. No worries RC4WD sent out a replacement! Very cool and excellent customer service! Also, I would like to add that RC Addict sells the Ford logos for the front grill and rear tailgate! I give credit to RC Everyday for bringing that to my attention! -Frank

Very nice rc, with excellent idea for closing the tailgate or doors, and especially the location of the battery that is very accessible and is not too backwards for the weight ..
Hoping for a video of it being kitted out, such awesome detail is asking for it. A hardtop or just a bed cover for the back would work well for hiding more batteries and sound kit, maybe even smoke kit. This beast can only get better with some work.

I used to have those same exact duratrax screwdrivers i think the whole set was around ten bucks and they were great i build a whole. Hpi savage x super sport kit with those red and black screwdrivers. And man i have to pick me up one of those radios it looks like alot of bang for the buck i cant afford a 600 dollar futaba but spectrum dx2 and now flyskys seem to be a great option. I love the scale trucks i want to get one looks like fun. Cheers you guys
Great video. So informative! Truck is looking good. And yeah, those Traxxas motors’ shaft are a lot longer. I’ve had a lot of trouble fitting those into non-Traxxas units as well.

Esc= electronic speed controller Locking differential= you can lock or unlock the truck from 2wd to 4wd all together or seperate to drive like a real truck as most Rc crawlers or scale trucks are full time 4x4. This gives the option of 2wd.
Looks insane Medic but you are scaring me. I've had mine sitting in a box for a week until I can paint it but I may need to take a peek to make sure it did not come battered. Always loved your original F150. That one got me to buy this one.

You should design a line of rc trucks / cars of your own. Too sell. That would be so awsome. Lots of other you tube channel guys do it. Regardless of what they base their channel on. Guns, guitars, crafts, rc. You may as well do it to. It would be a blast.
Put the song kit in the bed and get you the lid off of a scale toolbox light from tractor supply they have the aluminum toolboxes and it would look like a toolbox just a thought
What you try is make a diamond plated tool box for the back and add the sound kit in there. Also can’t for the next video because I’m thinking of buying this in the near future.
I seen scale builders guild do a live unboxing with the artr n couple other channels that got this one, I do think the tires r a lil small but there’s a ton of detail. Man that’s a bummer how urs came, like someone stole it from the dealership for a joy ride n they still sold it as new when they found it in the abandoned alley Lol 😂
RCSparks Studio a fellow TH-camr sent me my first scale figure to drive my K5 trx4 n he said it’s the same one u use not the capo custom figure but the Rick Flag from suicide squad n he even sent me a small scale rubber baseball hat. So ur guys gonna be ripping threw the trails in my rig too 😂
I think I both love it and hate it, love the truck and platform, but for the cost it’s just not enough truck to warrant it in my honest opinion. The work to strip the body down for painting looks intense and unnecessary (why not supply it unassembled as despite it being an ARTR I think their finish isn’t the best) as in comparison to the G2 and TF2 I just feel this lacks a lot. Despite all that, I do love it, but enough to buy one...I’m not so sure. We must keep in mind this is an RC4WD rig which is on the premium side of things. Great upload Medic, loved it as usual 👍🏻👌🏻✌🏻
RC4WD is a premium?! Their Dakar truck was this way, the Beast 2 6x6 RTR was atrocious! Some items at RC4WD are incredible.. others, not so much. But, I think overall.. for 450.. this truck was average for what we got.
RCSparks Studio I’ve always considered them premium in the UK but recently my opinion has started to change, but I fully agree, with any manufacturer there is good and bad. My Gelande 2 is my pride and joy which is where the scale scene started for me, and from my collection it’s certainly on the higher end of money being spent. It seems that the Hero is much more expensive in the UK at £600 for the ARTR, which is almost the cost of 2 SCX10.2s here, which is why I expected a little more I guess. I look forward to seeing this in action dude, have an awesome day ✌🏻🤟🏻
anybody talking about speed should really check RC4WD´s website they recommend a 35Turn with a 3S lipo battery should give the motor about 19500rpm(about the same rpm as a 20T motor on 2S)

My son would love a truck like this, because of the doors, the interior, and the functional bed (basically all the scale features). Neat.
I would like the functional bed too! But my kids like putting rocks on the back of their trucks

For the sound kit, maybe mount it at the front of the bed and cover it with a tool box. Just an idea from a fellow hobbyist.
But that was almost exactly what I said in the video.. Lol.

It looks like the hood could be cut to be able to open and shut the indentation looks pretty deep
