That’s a great idea! Very creative use of that space. I’m running 37s on a stock Power Wagon and the full-size spare does not fit in that location anymore. Definitely going to do something like this at some point. Thanks for putting this video together!
And like the OL shops try to do they’ll sell you on a $1K skid plate for your plastic water holder. Just drill a hole in your spare tire, install a 1/4” shut off valve and add water. Best of both worlds. Seriously, it’s a great idea for extra long trips. Careful not to let the water burn you like the outside water hose did when we were kids.
Nice video and set up! I’m working on a setup in my FJ with the iron man 13gallon tank that fits on the inside of a FJ, I like your tire valve idea. I’ll be using it👍🏻 thanks for sharing💪🏻💪🏻
Thanks man! Every time I talk to you I get jealous lol fjs are my favorite vehicles, I regret selling mine! Lmk how it works out for you with the Ironman tank! Sounds like it’s gonna be sweet 🤙🏼
Y’all, I forgot to mention. Right now Traild is also offering 15% off your order of a boondocker tank!
That's not a cheap upgrade but damn would it be convenient. Very nice build!
It’s built well enough to be the last water tank you’ll buy! Very convenient and after using it I couldn’t imagine not having it lol thank you 🙏🏼 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Thank you brother! I've been trying to figure out the best way to install this in my 4Runner, you're the real MVP 🤘
Heck yea man! That’s gonna be sick in a runner, lmk if you have any questions!
@@bfm_overland thank you man!

Right on! I’m pretty sure I won’t be selling mine, take care👍🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Cool setup! Does the pump have an auto shut off so it doesn't over pressurize the tank when water isn't being used continuously?
Thank you! And no I don’t think it does from what I can see
It's a Schrader valve.
😂
What prevents the water in the system from freezing in the middle of winter?
I live in Texas so I don’t really have to worry about that issue. But I would probably create some sort of insulation if I needed
Sick set up!
Thanks!!
