He’s my life story with soaps. I used to watch neighbours in 1986 when I was 6 years old but then eventually started watching Home & Away as well when I heard a Great White shark 🦈 featured on the show. Then the Great White died and I carried on watching Home & Away because I enjoyed it anyway. After watching both shows for so long in the 90’s, I threw in the towel because likeable characters left and Eastenders was becoming great with the Mitchell Brothers. But like everything good, all good shows come to an end, Grant Mitchell left, other characters left and I got bored. Never watched a soap again.
This is only part of the compilation I made for this storyline. Dodge was always my favourite bad guy from the show and why I made a compilation. Anybody interested in seeing the whole storyline compilation, send a message here and I will get back to you ASAP.
MrSimplesimon1987 hi there, thanks for the upload. Just wondering if you have footage from when dodge called up Steve and unwittingly left a message on his answering machine saying “g’day stevo!”. I think it was a couple of episodes before this one. Thanks
@Timothy Balla Sorry for my late reply. If you would like to have acopy of the full storyline, please contact me at: Simpy7772000@yahoo.com.au Once I hear from you, I will discuss it with you. Thanks.
Frazier and Ali. He-Man and Skeletor. Vince McMahon and Stone Cold. McDonald's and Burger King. Stevo and Dodge. The most intense rivalries in history.
I agree and would totally support it. Sadly, however, there would need to be a reason for Steven to return to the bay and with none of the original cast left, as far as I'm aware anyway, he would have no connections there to bring him back there. Perhaps a holiday with his wife would be an idea, but with all the newer bad guys, so few of the audience would even be aware of who Dodge and Steven are. Sad reality as there was a lot of potential for this storyline to get more screen time.
@MrSimplesimon1987 he could come back for some event or reunion with Alf or Irene or as you said a holiday or even through work. Imagine the look on his face if he was catching up with old faces and then went up to the bar and Dodge said what can I get you Steve O?! They would have a lot of unfinished business it could be great.
Steven and selina could come back to visit Irene her Foster mother but would it make sense for Dodge to come with no pippa or Sally. Would the story line with Irene be enough? Weird Shane had to run get the police but when he died later in the year tourists called an ambulance on their phone. Dodge was evil threatening an old couple. They should definitely stay out of it, he's dangerous. He klled Mud, bet Irene's son regretted telling him to rough him up
@rosebankross Agreed. Played By Kelly Dingwall/Dale. I remember seeing him in many productions. Dodge was always the best role he played. You can see his younger acting roles in Secret Valley and his final role in The Custodian which is up on youtube. :)

Sadly, the question of Dodge's fate is never answered. There was talksoabout him returning after this stint, but he never resurfaced. You could pretty much called his status presumed dead. Sadly, I can't see another rematch 27 years later. I think it sucked there was no resolution to Dodge's fate. A legendary badass for Aussie TV.
That's right. Steven Survived but Dodge's body was never recovered. There was a rumour Dodge was planning on returning, but it never eventuated. I loved the storyline because after the 1989 encounter with Dodge, The Fletchers had fostered him and he was a troublesome challenge for the Fletcher's to deal with.
@@carlodonn8983 Not as far as I recall. I remember seeing Pippa and Michael seeing his name of the sign-in sheet, and Pippa saying that the name Brian Forbes sounds familiar and soon remembers it was Dodge's real name and demands he leaves the caravan park, but he refuses to do so. After that, Alf sees Dodge and warns Steven that he's back in town. Steven then goes and sees him and finds out he is back in town to get even with Steven. Dodge befriends Irene and a couple of others and fakes his death on a boat trip, making it sound like Steven killed him, then the final fight. Sally was not involved in Dodge's return, but I think had he returned, he may have taken her hostage as part of the storyline. This is one of Home And Away's best storylines and had the first original bad guy from the show.
@@MrSimplesimon1987 thanks for replying. I have a feeling the actress may had not been on screen during this time. Perhaps with school commitments or exams. I remember Sally and dodge had a lot of bad history so I'm pretty certain the writers would hadgiven them scene together if she was available at the time. .
i remember this so well great storyline this was and its soo great to see this again home and away in its best days

Neighbours & Home & Away were at their peak in the 90's

Dodge with his fancy mobile phone in 1995!
They should of used him in phone commercials. He was brilliant
They should bring back Dodge decades later.. I mean they never really confirmed his death.

Me old mate Stevo.
Dodge was the best.
I agree. Dodge was and will always be the best criminal from H&A.

@@MrSimplesimon1987 I wonder what he's doing nowadays, still acting?
Kelly Dingwall should of used this to get work doing commercials for mobile phones.
Yes. I agree with that. :)
@@MrSimplesimon1987 this episode of home and away made my want a mobile phone lol
This is genius
Gutless wonder mentioned by Stevo and Dodge lol 90s slang
It's actually an 80's slang. I watched the episodes from 89 with Dodge. Dodge would use it to egg Steven to go with him to the city or act as an alibi
really would like dodge to come back for a anniversary show he could of played adam sharpe
Agree. Dodge was and is the best ever criminal for Home And Away. It was one storyline I really liked.

Ha ha. I noticed a mistake at 5:08. As the motorcycle pulls up and the camera panned across to the right the shadow of a crew member could be seen.
Dodge was nice to Irene and Jack and despised everyone else. He even klled Irene's ex, so twisted. He didn't see Sally?
i love big hugs with morag dead
i get an im sorry bug 13 years
Such a cheesy fight scene hahaha
cant remember her what happened to dodge if he got killed off or not though
