    I wanted to say I just finished a baby blanket with this pattern. The puff stitch makes a lovely edging for this. That's what I did with mine since the pattern itself is the star just wanted to frame it without taking anything away from the pattern. It worked well with Caron cakes yarn.

    I love this pattern. As soon as I saw it I started a new blanket using yarn I had but hadn't decided what to make with it. i like the cable look to the texture. Thank you for this video. You make it very easy to follow. I'd like to send you a picture of my blanket when I finish it.

      @@BlossomCrochet yes, I have a bunch of fingering weight yarns that I’m thinking of testing out. I’m not sure if I want something more solid to play up the stitch work or something with color changes that are subtle.

    Every time I go to say Iris Stitch I always say Irish Stitch. It’s a real tongue twister!! Love the way the stitch looks, very pretty. ❤️

      @@BlossomCrochet I actually started a throw using this stitch in a taupe Red Heart Super Saver yarn because I got quite a few skeins of taupe from a friend who got it from auction. I LOVE how it's coming along!🤩🤗🥳 And decided to add (for color and interest)some yarn that is off white with brown and black flecks😊. I think it will turn out to my liking 👍.

      When working this stitch I didn’t find that the corners curled - however, if you’ve having a problem with curling then I’d suggest going up a hook size to see if that helps ☺️🌸

    Really love this I’m wondering what it would be like with one roll of a pale green and one roll of orchid with the orchid nestled into the green might it not actually look like a RAW of Iris do you love the back post front post one at a time For me back post a Crochet has always been a problem by doing one every other it’s giving me practice without frustration not as hard as it was when I had a bunch to do. Thank you.

      Because this stitch is quite intricate I like to add simple borders - such as a few rounds of half trebles or a lovely moss stitch border - that finishes off any project beautifully!

      I don’t often do ‘set’ borders as I always just suggest adding a round of U.K. double crochet around your finished project - this is a perfect base to then build absolutely any border that you like the look of ☺️
      Personally I think a simple Shell Border or even a Moss Stitch Border would work really well with this particular stitch. 🌸

    It’s a lovely stitch and your directions are excellent, however, I don’t like all those holes in the finished blanket…. I do love the post stitches though…….can you do another video with a different stitch that’s closer together but still has the post stitches in it? That I would love to do….tks

    I truly want to do this, however, I canNOT get the hang of the back post double/treble. My mind and hands get confused. I am fine with the front, but the back continue to throw me off. 😭😭😭
