Jains do have and believe in Ishwar. The only difference is that all religions in the world believe Ishwar-God-Allah as creator of universe and everything in it whereas Jain's believe that Ishwar doesn't create the universe. It has been in existence in the infinite past and shall remain so in future. Jainy say that Ishwar shows how the world is rather than creates it. Many wrongly say that Jain's are nastik because they don't believe in Ishwar. If this issue of creation crops up, all religion will confront serious contradictions in the role of Ishwar as creator, regulator and destroyer. So they conveniently say that Jain's don't believe in Ishwar. Jain's have innumerable temples. Jain believes in Arihant and Sidhha as Ishwar.
Jains believe in bhagwan; not Ishwar. Bhagwan is a mortal being that has attained enlightenment. Like the tirthankars, Krishna, Buddha. Ishwar on the other hand is supreme being like, Vishnu, Brahma, Goddess Shakti, Allah etc... Confusion arrises because people use Ishwar and Bhagwan interchangeably. Jainism says I can become a Bhagwan; but not Ishwar. Ishwar does not exist.

Soul is jeev.
Mind is ajeev (Pudgal).
Mind is a part of body which stores controling mechanism of whole body. Soul is gyan and darshan because of which the whole machinery is working.
