Yes, it worked for me too, but i am on a laptop and it would take a while to drain the battery, LONG PRESS on the POWER BUTTON did the job for me! Thank you!
You are truly a life safer! I tried a lot to get the Bluetooth working. I thought it would be related to some software. Even the Microsoft Customer care couldn't fix this problem. Kudos to you. Never expected it to be a hardware issue.
None of this worked for me on Windows 10, but this did: 28/08/2024: Go to Settings, then to Windows Update, and open Optional Updates. In my case, there was a choice for a Bluetooth driver, and I chose it. After restarting the computer, the Bluetooth icon appeared on my tray, and I connected my earphones. Hope this helps the helpless souls who tried everything like I did.

Out of nowhere last night, my bluetooth stopped working on my PC, and I ran through basically everything you show in this video, getting real frustrated that no windows updates broke it, and installing updated drivers from my mobo's website didnt help either. It would have taken me days, if ever, to think of what you're calling a "power flush" (which I guess would be clearing CMOS in old person terms). Thank you, Sandeep.
Same expierience I tried every single driver version, restarted all related services, updated EVERYTHING, checked firewall and bios settings. Nothing worked. I have problem with battery life on my laptop, but couldn't connect the dots. I was familiar with power flushes before, but I done it only before making hardware changes. I guess this is more in field of electronics then actual IT. Work habits make you be blind to simples solutions sometimes. Trying to solve hardware issue by software is my weakness.

If you have a laptop where the battery doesnt come out; shut down the laptop then when its completely off, make sure to have everything unplugged then press and hold the power button. My laptop kept flashing so dont sweat if it does. After 30 seconds turn your laptop back on and viola! BT is back!!

Man you really save my day! the power flush won! For others who encounter the same. I have a laptop with built-in battery. Now, you really don't need to drain your battery and it will still work. If the battery is non-removable, while the computer is ON, hold the power button down and wait for the computer to shut down and still hold the power button down for another 15 seconds.

@@angeloraad3442Make sure your laptop is on, remove power cable and press power button for aprox 30 seconds. Your laptop should force close meanwhile, dont let go of the power button so the static electricity may flush. Release power button and start normally. Hope it will work for you, too.
@@khadijahzzx4736If the laptop is off and you press power button the laptop will start. You need the opposite (a full power flush, including static electricity). So, yeah, laptop should be on so the power button press event will force a shutdown and a power flush as described above. It worked for me and it might work for you, too.

Absolute star!!! The power flush did it for me as well! I have a laptop and had already restarted it, but it wasn't working, it was fully charged, but I simply removed the charger and held the power button for 30 seconds and sure enough, Blutooth back! Thank you very much!

Such a simple fix, after disabling, reinstalling, using sfc, using dism, uninstalling and everything else many times. I knew it was a hardware problem after a couple times. It worked for me. Today i woked up turn on my pc and tried to connect my xbox controller and noticed the Bluetooth app turning on/off was missing. I did the power flush and walla it's back and working.

@@3peaksjournals Make sure your laptop is on then you just hold the power button for 30 seconds straight. Dell also told me to do this on one of my many calls with them. Then you can just switch it back on

it worked for me to, all the other options dint worked at all, its more easy since my laptop did not have a batterie since it exploded lmao

I 2nd everything about this above comment !! My bluetooth was running last night then my system hiccupped and this morning bluetooth was absent. Nothing that I did worked. i had bluetooth on my pc last month know after running around looking for info and realizing that there was a forced update on my pc i be leave microsoft took off the bluetooth feature on my pc because the drivers are not on my pc anymore

@@3peaksjournals Make sure your laptop is on then you just hold the power button for 30 seconds straight. Dell also told me to do this on one of my many calls with them. Then you can just switch it back on
