My deepest apologies to Talonflame, who I completely forgot actually existed in the beginning of S/V VGC & was not introduced later on. I was not familiar with your game.
I was the trainer in game 4. You used to wreck me back in sword and shield days but glad I finally got one over on you! 😂 I’ve learned a lot from your videos over the years and I’ve just recently got back into VGC after a year break. Much love for the compliment on the team and GG 😇
Even though it couldn't beat Dondozo, that Weakness Policy Armarouge concept from the second opponent seems really potent into lots of lead combinations.
Doing it with Tera through U-Turn is neat because you also get Psychic Terrain, but doing it with Shadow Sneak, Sucker Punch or Aqua Jet, and then just wiping out one threat and switching in Indeedee on the next turn if you need it has a much lower opportunity cost, no need to commit Tera. Meowstic actually has Sucker Punch and Psychic Terrain, also Sunny Day and Helping Hand. Sableye also has all of these except Psychic Terrain, but also has Shadow Sneak. I even tried it with Hydrapple because it covers Armarouge's weaknesses.
it used to be very common on ladder (from my experience) during the first regulation that had Paradox mons, utilizing Booster Bundle as the fastest mon in the meta, using Flip Turn so yeah its been around and probably going to be more common again now
@@traviswichtendahl5648 Always been good vs Amoongus, now it's also good into Annihilape. Both Ursaluna forms, Rilla and Dondozo all have low special bulk. Armor Cannon obviously covers Gholdengo and at +2 also does over 70% in the rain to a AV Archaludon. Either move OHKOs Torkoal at +2. Definitely a good Pokémon.
I LOVE PAWMOT thank you for this team. The lack of protect def scares me but damn I can totally see how you can win matches on turn 1 based on your leads. Cool team
Today I learned, that you can in fact change moves after you Trick your Choice Specs/Scarf for another Choice Specs/Scarf. I thought you'd be locked into trick at that point, that's very interesting
I wish double shock was a 60 BP move that hit twice, seems appropriate given the name and would make the move meaningfully better to destroy focus sashes or substitutes. Don't think it would be OP, would just make Pawmot a little better.
@@Raz-nk3vx It's meant to be a silly harmless joke, and also the fact that i usually click Cybertron's videos as soon as i see them on my notifications
If you're struggling against this team like I was clear smog/yawn gastrodon can handle like all 6 of these mons. You need to commit to another teammate who hard counters rillaboom while he's still prevalent though.
I just played against it with a Tyranitar. I didn't realize that Tatsu takes damage in the sand. So if you're able to get some licks in before the revival blessing it's a little less mayhem to deal with.
You had a thought for early game one, and I think you still made the right move because beat up would’ve knocked out annihilape before it had the chance to rage fist
so.. if you use one of the strats to KO Tatsugiri while it's inside Dondozo, then use revival blessing on it and switch it back in, does Dondozo get another omniboost?
Anybody have some really good counter ideas for Dondozo teams? I have a few but it keeps changing as the regulations change. The counter I would’ve used for regulation A-C is different now.
Wouldnt Murkrow be kind of better on this team, assuming dondozo is getting more popular again? In the beginning of scarlet and violet it used to be good to have a haze mon vs dondozo..
@CybertronVGC, what do you think about the team featured in this video compared this one from a year ago you featured on the channel? th-cam.com/video/IkTp2aRseu8/w-d-xo.html That team also had Dondozo, Tatsugiri, Dragonite, Pawmot AND Goldengo. Does that make it a very strong core in multiple formats?
Start sweeping right away, has only a few counters, or multiple counters and you definitely don't bring it. You could say you're never Wishiwashi about it..
Yeesh, even without the paradox Pokemon the power creep of Gen 9 is so blatant. Take this team, 4 Gen 9 Pokémon, a pseudo legendary, and a support Pokémon.
Yeah it’s a joke, makes it borderline unenjoyable. It doesn’t help that they look goofy and the graphics make them look like they’re made of pudding. Just sad
I'm confused. Aaron "Cybertron" Zheng is not climbing the online regulation H ladder and provide comments as he goes? Is this not another episode of Road to Ranked?

GGs man, awesome play/team - welcome back to VGC, good to have you back :)
The Zheng effect: having to face the team you've just featured
It's why I like that he does Team Weaknesses, cause after he features one I know I'ma be seeing it a lot on Ranked.
I was just trying out that team in Pokemonshowdown and another guy had the same team hahaha
Same happened to me@@quantimun
I love how right now Aaron and James Baek are just playing each others’ showcased teams back and forth on the ladder haha

Regulation H: No paradox and legendaries allowed!
Dondozo: *Is that format for me!?* 👀
I love pawmot and I love this team. Thank you so very much for highlighting it :D!
I love when a new Aaron "Don't Call me Cybertron" Cyberton Zheng drops.

Interesting that you got such a variety of games. Love the video!
Saw Pawmot and had to see what was up
48:05 Gothitelle definitely existed in S/V since the games originally came out.
Yeah 😢
You're awesome Aaron, love your content. I know you will win worlds one day. 😊
the pokemon variety is so cool this season :D
Great vid as always!
Class is in session time to study this team
No lie the Taloflame forgetting part is hilarious. You just started its villain arc 😂
Question: is Commander affected by Wandering Spirit?
Just theorycrafting what would happen to Tatsu-Dozo with Runerigus in the picture…
I literally just faced this. Haze Primarina did its thing and the opponent disconnected.
I like when he says "cute tech" 😁
Aaron i love you and your millennial pause youtube intro
Didn't look like you had to break a sweat piloting this team. Sheesh
Let’s gooo! New video!

33:26 Going for WaveCrash over Order Up??? its hurts my soul 😢 lmao
In game 7 what would be the use for the Perrserker? Interested in that build of dondozo too
I love these videos
Can’t believe you did my boy Connor like that 😢😂
My immediate thoughts for countering this team: there’s one protect mon. Just keep attacking
I wanna see you and wolfe compete in the worlds finals
Talonflame DID exist since the beginning, wide lens + Will o Wisps was a thing
Anybody have some really good counter ideas for Dondozo teams? I have a few but it keeps changing as the regulations change. The counter I would’ve used for regulation A-C is different now.
Haze user? Politoed eviolite murkrow
Haze primarina
Fairy tera Gastrodon paired with Rilla should handle dondozo pretty well. Or as others have mentioned anything with haze.
Haze (Murkrow, Primarina, Dragonite, Toxapex, Politoed)
Grimmsnarl using prankster fake tears and a special attacker just blasting it away
Wouldnt Murkrow be kind of better on this team, assuming dondozo is getting more popular again? In the beginning of scarlet and violet it used to be good to have a haze mon vs dondozo..
41:10 not worth going for double protect?
It's an Aaron Zheng video!
Finnaly pawmot use
Does anyone think a modified version of this team with Incineroar over Talonflame and/or Grimsnarl over Pawmot could function well?
These Regulation H videos are so good. This new format has been so much fun! These teams are really cool.
Noob question here, how do you do reg H battles while we're still in reg G?
By hopping onto the casual ladder and hoping that the opponent also brings a reg H team
I’m playing ranked matches and see reg H teams, aswell as legendaries but i haven’t had any problems taking them down
How is Aaron making sure he only runs into regulation H teams? I'm not seeing any when I play.
How did Pelipper miss Hurricane in the rain in Game 1?
I love reg H pokemons
Dumb question. Is dragon rage a physical or special attack
