    Sir, your video on setting up an Automate Flow was outstanding! I did my first one right after that - and it worked!
    I'm wondering for an established list, when it get's modified, how-to setup a flow to send an email to all people assigned to the list in various columns an update of who was added to the list column(s) and or who was removed?

    Is there a way to add a file to a specific column instead of the attachment section?

    Hi Lui, thanks for the tutorial! I have a question: We have a list for the change process for changes in our applications. Each item has a responsible person/owner (as a field). We have a date-field that is used for evaluation-purposes. We use that date-field when we set an item on a status 'onhold until' or 'evaluation needed'. Is there a way that, when the evaluation date is passed, the owner of the item gets notified? The issue here is (I think) that there is no change in the value at the moment we want the notification to be sent.

      @LuiIacobellis  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there, it sounds like you'd need to use a scheduled cloud flow instead of automated. You could have the scheduled flow execute daily and check if the evaluation date has lapsed along with other conditions and if the criteria are met you could then fire the notification. Hope this helps and thanks for watching

    thanks for your clear instructions, but i am not receiving any email, only if enable alert on my stie i receive from my site, but from power automate no. and can i use my company email outbox rather than office 365 outlook?

      Unfortunately I cannot assist with individual issues, apologies. You can send emails from a different mailbox if you setup the connection to that account.

    Hi, thanks for the detailed tutorial. If you have a moment... is there a way that I can send an email [alert really] to all members of my sharepoint site? To add context: I want to advise all staff (about 70) whenever I add a news item. I am using MS Lists for this purpose as I don't know any other way to communicate when I make changes to this communication, TY

      Hi there, yes SharePoint alerts are probably your best bet. You can program them to fire to the entire Permission group. I have a tutorial that demonstrates how to do this here: th-cam.com/video/aRFut2DAxuo/w-d-xo.html

    Hi Lui... great tutorial and very helpful. How do you go about sending the email and at the same time redirects the user to another SharePoint page not the list page?

    • @LuiIacobellis
      @LuiIacobellis  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there to the best of my knowledge there is no way you can use Power Automate to redirect a user to another page. You could hard core a URL into a column and lable it click here or perhaps use JSON formatting to add a button that invokes a URL to the target page. Hope this helps!

    Is it possible to create these notifications from a sharepoint document library instead?

    • @LuiIacobellis
      @LuiIacobellis  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes you can follow the same steps and implement this on document libraries as well

    • @TerriMcArthur

      @@LuiIacobellismy problem is I don’t have the document libraries as options to select, only the files. Sorry I am a novice Power Automate user and don’t know if I am supposed to write something else to get to the document library.

    How to avoid email notification when other columns get updated under the defined status, e.g. "Backlog"?

    • @LuiIacobellis
      @LuiIacobellis  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You would need to incorporate conditional steps where your notifications fire only when a field equals a certain status

  • @amjadalshukr6748
    @amjadalshukr6748 ปีที่แล้ว

    Thanks for your tutorial. I followed your instruction but the notification emails repeated many times with same title after 6-7 minutes. May I know why this is happening?

    • @LuiIacobellis
      @LuiIacobellis  ปีที่แล้ว

      You are very welcome. Is someone triggering the workflow by creating new or modifying an existing item? Is there another workflow running that is doing either? As outlined in the video, the workflow will only execute once when those events take place. Further, there may sometimes be a lag between when those events take place and the workflow triggers. So if you modify an item several times, you would receive the same number of notifications. Hope this helps!
