I own around 20 of these guns and several holsters, the maverick 45 is awesome. Ordered my maverick 45s when they first came on the market, love to dress like old western lawman and strap them on for Halloween parties. I am 70 years old and still love my cap guns. Thank you Bob for a great product and for helping keep the American spirit alive.
One of my favorite memories growing up was my four cap gun pistols. They took the famous red strip caps. I would go out and have pretend gunfights back when I was 8 or 9 in Indiana.
That is a good question . Let me answer you the best i can. I have bought my childeren toy cap guns for the same reason i bought them a plastic swords. So they could pretend to be Robin Hood . Or a plastic Light Sabre so the could play star wars . The cap guns were so they could pretend to be Wyatt Earp , Roy Rogers or Annie Oakley . It is good healthy play for kids to pretend to be the heros protecting the west or even the whole universe .
I'm sad they don't make the Marshall / Nichols .32/.38 reproductions anymore. It seems to me like those would have sold like crazy, considering how much original nichol's ranch guns go for. I would love to have some reproduction stallion 38s for my kid and me, that we don't have to worry about damaging and can shoot stress free. We generally don't shoot our original Nichol's ranch guns much, for fear of damaging them.
this is a long shot shot it is 2022 now I collect Mattels Fanner 50's I have a couple that is in need of repair and I cant find any body to fix them any suggestions for me ? or am I SOL ..I found one guy in OR but he has since passed on ..thank You so much
There guns are a piece of shit about 5 years ago I bought one and the moment I got it I shot it one time and the spring that triggered the hammer on the gun broke

Growing up with cap guns has led to serious consequences for me; I own 100 times more cap guns as an adult and they've gotten *way* more expensive!
