We lived in Anderson South in the early 80's. I was 14 at the time. A friend and & I walked there to the cave & the cliff. That cliff scared me to death because I was not expecting it. My friend got in the water & I found $5 on the rocks inside the cave. There was no parking lot then. We actually came upon two men hunting for wild boar while heading to the cave. Ty for this video. I can now share my experience while I was on Guam with my children & grandchildren! Blessings! (Praying for Guam & a swift recovery for those affected by Typhoon Marwar.)
Guam is home. I was blessed to have grown up here. So much history for such a small place. Shame on those litter bugs. Have some pride in your home people. Can we get GovGuam to work with the property owner to put up a fence before someone drowns in that cavernous water cistern. Surely we have federal taxpayer money to procure and provide public benches, gardens an aviary perhaps for the koko and the sihek w/ regular trash pickup. People would pay $ to experience this shit if managed correctly. Come feel the tropics and get relief in the natural pools. Appropriate story boards could be positioned around the cave explaining the WWII significance along with pre colonial ancient Chamorro significance of the place. Manage the land resources better Guahan. Lots of valuable real estate to protect over here.
this is great, I went there once,, it was crowded,, lots of party animals and 2 cop cars so I basically chickened out, I wanted to shoot the cliffs was all, very nice video and editing too, thanks for posting
Friends and I bathed in that cave every day for almost two weeks after the 1993 earthquake. There was no water running where we were staying and the hotel pool got real nasty in about three days lol.
haha yes, I made it back and didn't get a curse from the taotaomona. I was told they are friendly as long as you ask their blessing before entering the jungle.
Just visited there today, The road to the parking lot is very overgrown and there are warning signs "Warning Do Not Enter Dangerous Conditions Ahead Caused by Solar Project." There was several signs including one right in front of the cave entrance. I did not go down to the cliff.
I swam there when I was stationed at Anderson AFB in 1972-1973.

This was a beautiful spot. Hopefully they'll be able to restore it to its original state!

There is a short swim through to another small room in that cave.
