Prue: Phoebe, our powers are not toys. We have to be careful, they could get us killed. Also Prue: *throws alarm clock through the window with telekinesis*
That always annoyed me - I mean, it took years for Phoebe to learn to have some control of her premonition power, it's not that she had vision on purpose. And neither Prue nor Piper managed to really control their powers at that point
I cannot deny that it was kind of hypocritical of Prue and Piper, especially since neither of them also had any real control over their powers then, but...could it be also due to their not wanting Phoebe to go overboard and abuse her powers? I mean, they are Phoebe's sisters and had grown up alongside her, so they knew her extremely well, and wanted to "lay down the law" first before it could get too late for her to stop?
@@ziweiho7614 maybe, but what even more hypocritical of Prue is that it was actually her who started using powers for personal gain later that episode (scene in the elevator)
@@chaklunkaparfum Mmmm...perhaps I am pushing this too far, but could it be that Rex and Hannah turning out to be evil warlocks was Prue's punishment for that particular instance of personal gain?
@@ziweiho7614 that's interesting theory, but I don't think so: if I remember correctly, later in the season it was revealed that real Rex and Hannah were different people, they even looked different. I think "Rex" and "Hannah" that Prue met were warlocks from the start
@@chaklunkaparfum Rest assured that you are absolutely right. 😊From what I know, the "Rex" and "Hannah" whom Prue and her sisters had to deal with were two warlocks sent by the Source himself to confirm the Charmed Ones' existence and even kill them. As Andy found out and later explained to Prue, the REAL Rex Buckland and the REAL Hannah Webster had been killed by these two warlocks, who went on to assume their identities and even "bilked the auction house dry" while trying to kill the Charmed Ones.

Prue and Phoebe had such a believable sister relationship. I can feel the tension.
That because their was real tension between both actresses at that time 😳
@@romeosaintsmusicAt that time it wasn't. Drama started during the filming of season 3
@@EvernightDreamer I know…😳
yeah.. I wonder why
No there wasn't. This is the second episode. That happened later@@romeosaintsmusic
Me remember this it was one of my favorite shows
Best Piper line ever, "Don't put me in the middle."

And 5-6 years later, Phoebe got stripped of her powers for doing exactly the same thing is she did (not on purpose) here. Interesting :D
