I can’t help but notice he never gave a straight answer to their question when asked if Grams put a spell on him. It’s like whoever was running the writers room couldn’t make a definitive decision over whether or not that was going to be the story so they left it in ambiguous.
Victor comes off as a real slime ball; he thinks he can manipulate them and control them. What he’s not saying is how desperate and scared he is. Magic killed his wife. Penny could have literally killed him with magic if he didn’t flee. Only now that she’s dead can he get anywhere near his daughters and try to tell them he doesn’t want to outlive them. 3 years later he buries Prue. 😢
And now it killed the Sisters and the manor in a two part series finale, but Piper and Leo went back in time to save Paige, Phoebe, and the manor’s time thanks to Coop’s ring.
I’m happy that they got a different actor to play Victor further down the road. The gentleman who originally played him looked way too young to be their father in my opinion.
But they didn’t grow up with magic, why did he stay away if they wouldn't get their powers tul they were adults. And blaming grams doesn't work cause b4 ahe died she was about to bind the gorls powers for good so she had doubts about them bei g witches too. So he could have been in thier lives but he was just a bad dad.
She never had doubts. Their powers were binded but he was kept away by her cause he wanted them to never get them and Penny was 100% after the Melinda Warren prophecy.
@Ronkyort0dox fair point, I'm just 100% team Grams. She wasn't perfect but she was exactly what the charmed ones needed. I still think Richard could have been a better father but he was an awesome granddad and with 9 grand kids he better be.

Victor got thrown against the wall and recovered pretty well, must've gotten used to it with Grams lol
I feel so sorry for prue, she's deeply angry and in pain, the kind of pain & anger that can eat you alive...luckily she's able to overcome it

To be fair him looking evil fit the part for the episode's storyline lol but James Read seemed much more fun and warm and did do the character justice

He is 100% spot on. They killed Patty and later even Prue.

The stories were good until season 5 when Constance was fully gone and Brad took over.

I'm sorry but while I understand Prue's pain, attacking a mortal with her powers made me dislike her a bit. Like if Victor was magical, it'd be fine.
