    This is excellent and very well made. Good job. In future models, you may consider installing a rubber pulse dampening bladder inside the pressure vessel. This will prevent atmospheric air saturation into the water and the tank becoming water logged, which can lead to a drop in operating pressure over time and increase system wear. You might try a section of truck tire inner tube with one end sealed and the other end fastened at the bolts, between the base plate and gaskets. At the top the pressure vessel, you could glue in a tire valve stem to add pressure as needed. It should always be a minimum of 2 psi below your operating lift pressure. This should reduce the amount of maintenance you will need to conduct on the system, stabilize the flow, reduce cavitation within the system, reduce wear on the piping, and maintain more steady pressure throughout system operation.       @@TradisionalChannel_Indonesia Are there any one who is using this technic in india, particularly in south india. I stay in Paderu, hilly area. I have good water resources for 6 months. Can i use this technique. How much shall it costs. Though i could not understand the technic, but i realized that this is very cost effective.

      @@srikrishnapaleru6536 I'm glad you mentioned cost - sometimes that is the objective to be optimized. Cost to deliver a certain volume of water to a certain height. An output lift of 168 meters, using 1 to 7 ratio would suggest an input head of 24 meters, which may not always be available. I wonder if this ratio is a given for a ram pump or if it could be adjusted to deliver less water to a higher elevation. ... or in our situation, deliver more water to a less high field for irrigation where the volume of water for the cost is important. Cost = initial installation, operation and maintenance.

    A Couple of suggestions - Why not place your pump below water level then it is much quieter and less seen.
    Also lay your pressure vessel sideways down stream then it won't get destroyed in the first flood.
    Otherwise great performance you can be very proud of it.

      u can flip the switch on
      ur breaker and the room stays on up to 2kva

    Nice video and presentation.
    Something out of places?
    1) Pressure reading didn’t surge up as a real pump does, when valve change from open to close.
    2) gush of water should start immediately right after valve state changed from close to open. There was no gush for one second after valve just opened.
    This indicate that we have a fake pump manually operated to mimic operation of a real one.

      Great video and presentation.
      Something out of place?
      1) The pressure reading does not jump like a real pump would, when the valve changes from open to closed.
      2) The water jet should start immediately after the valve condition is changed from closed to open. There is no spray for one second after the valve opens.
      This indicates that we have a fake pump that is manually operated to mimic the operation of a real pump.
      In our channel, all RAM pump tutorial videos are ours and have been upgraded a lot so that until now... thanks for the reaction

      How on earth do you change 168 metres rise in hight into Water Pressure?????????
      It takes many times the flow of water (volume) flowing to waste to extract enough energy to raise very little water (volume) up the 168 metres (distance) through the small pipe.
      You could probably get enough to drink and maybe have a wash every 24 hours.

      @@rebeccadonaldson1464 I built something very similar, it was only small scale but I was pumping 1 litre per minute to a height of 100 metres. Does not sound like a lot but that is 1440 litres per day. Enough to supply a family and water a small garden.
      As for generating electricity you would do far better to generate directly than pumping to storage.

      I have a site similar to this....lots of flow but very limited fall. And this is cali so there is no way im allowed to dam the creek. Ive been thinking of doing a pumped storage microhydro with a pelton wheel.

    Coba rakit pakai pipa besi di las dan di sambung dengan elbow las diameter 5 inchi. Fleng bikin dari plat 8mm .kalau klepnya sudah bagus seperti Abang bikin.

    Sebenarnya bukannya free energi..... pompa ini tetap menggunakan energi. Energi yg di ambil dari tekanan aliran alor yg mendorong valve buang/limbah yd daoat menciptakan tekanan dan keluar dari pipa output.

    He said...he must lift up water up to 168 meters, means he need pressure up to 16.8 bar (depend real eevation)....the critical was water flows from the stream...I guess...is it right?

      for the purposes of water out far or high, we need water to enter the pump with strong pressure

      Sebenarnya saat musim hujan luapan air sudah pernah hanyit pipa. Input… untuk pompa masih utuh.. Ya.. Ganti dgn pipa yg agak murah… kalau hdpe laumayan mahal… 😄

    one thing you did not properly accounted for is what happens in rainy season when floods with rocks, and branches, big logs, and crap will hit your pipe and the river will grow 5x to 15x this volume of water. Maybe you are in an area which does not have such big floods but i doubt it since the big rocks in the river are moved by this big floods which come from time to time.
    So to prevent that you can put rocks around your pipe, bury it in rocks, and even if its gonna get destroyed in places, at least you don't need to redo the hole 75m of pipe. Its a lot of work, but is cheaper then redoing everything in the river every 3-5 years.
    Other then that very useful, and beautiful, and thanks for posting.

      @@TradisionalChannel_Indonesia or another thing you can do, since you said "on the riverbank" - made me think it can be suspended in the air, on pilons. If you suspend it 1.5 meter high, it can work. Now to do that you must also raise the damn 1.5 meters and then everything remains the same. Not sure if making a dam and inserting pilons is easyer then just hide that pipe under rock for 75 meters but is another option im thinking about :)

      @@aion2177 thanks guys ... that's what we plan to think of ... our pump house shifts 20 meters to the river bank and the input pipe is dug as deep as 80 cm ... semogfa it will be a night with a flood ... thank you ...

    The pelton wheel suggested would be better running from the ample water flowing down anyway. IE no need to use a ram pump to do that

    Pompa sangat berfungsi bagus , mungkin perlu ditambah material fiting 2 Union (water mur ) dan Check Valve yang dipasang di pipa outlet horisontal dekan Gate Valve tsb supaya tekanan pancaran debit air bisa berjalan melebihi 200 mtr keatas. Semoga lebih berhasil. Salaam , matur suwun , aamiin.

      Pipa saluran keluar 1/2 inc panjang 162 m, ketinggian waduk dgn pompa 4.1 m, jumlah debit air pd pipa keluar 10.2 liter/menit

    Saya rasa anda harus meng upgrade unit ram pump anda menggunakan pipa & tabung metal. Tekanan untuk mengalirkan air ke ketinggian tersebut pasti sangat tinggi. saya khatir pecah.

    Coba bikin tekhnologi pompa tenaga ombak bagaimana ombak ketika menabrak tebing air bisa naik lebih tinggi dari tebing tersebut.
    Atau tenaga kembang kempisnya seperti plastik di tekan pakai tangan( wenyed) sehingga air akan muncrat lebih tinggi

    If you put another no return valve after the air pressure on the delivery pipe, you get better performance.
