Hol Horse: Failed to kill the Crusaders twice, loyal only to a paycheck, ran away from Crusaders upon defeat, attempted to kill DIO. Praised by DIO for finally finding his courage and given a third chance.
Enya knew too much to be allowed to live, hell knowing the truth about Dio's stand means you are one fuckup away from death at all times, let alone if you are captured by someone who can actually read minds. Also it's worth considering that Dio was kind of running out of assassins at this point, even if he expected Hol Horse to fail, you might as well send him anyway, it's slightly more useful than killing him, and he has no important information to worry about letting slip (at this point I think Dio knows it's only a matter of time before they find the mansion, so even if Hol Horse told them at this point it wouldn't change much)
I love how the tone is the audience is meant to be rooting for Hol Horse and Boingo, or at least it’s at least a Wile E. Coyote duo perspective. That’s what makes JoJo great, it can switch the tone on a dime, giving more flavor.
shows are definitively better, if all of its characters are written as main characters of their own story, instead of being bland NPCs that only exist to fill a certein role in the story.
A little known, but fun fact. When Araki was writing Part 3, there was a period of time where he loosely considered making Hol Horse turn on Dio and join the Jotaro and them. Never ended up happening, but damn would it have been cool to see it.
Dio: "RHINOCEROS BEETLE RHINOCEROS BEETLE!" Hol horse: "I have returned!" Dio: "NO YOU HAVEN'T" Hol Horse: "... Correct!" ... Dio: "RHINOCEROS BEETLE RHI-"
So how Thoth works is based on the gravity of Boingo's conviction and his passive nature to a certain extent. When he opens the book and sees the future without a plan or intent, it does what it's meant to do, though everyone is affected since showing one's fate corresponds to his power. But when he has either intent or a goal in mind, his stand will show him the possible future of which his goal or one's future is determined by his involvement. Basically, if Bingo has the notion or wanting of something, his stand will show the best outlook on that something to happen, but it's never based on his actions or creation, just based on the gravity of his initial intent.
Also, when Boingo open's Thoth with intent or conviction, the prediction showed is also a step by step guide for how to achieved his intended future. But in order to achieve his intended future shown by Thoth, Boingo and all relevant parties must follow these steps to a tee otherwise fate will majorley screw them over
Its basically the idea of Fate from Part 5 in stand form. Unwitting fate is absolute , but trying to change fate into a future you want with no regard to others can lead to the tiniest detail screwing you over big time.
In defense of Hol Horse deciding to hit the woman anyway, he needed to know Boingo's predictions worked. Its literally the only potential advantage they had over the Crusaders. Fun Fact: Upright Emperor represents authority, structure and being a father figure Reversed Emperor represents a lack of flexibility and discipline And I think Hol Horse shows these traits pretty well. Whenever Hol Horse teams up with someone , he is able to bring out the best in everyone, but because he's a natural coward he immediately starts panicking the moment things get dicy. Its even juxtaposed by his stand of the same name. *The Emperor* is CRAZY OP by Part 3 standards and beyond. Infinite ammo, the bullets are part of the stand as well as the gun;making BOTH invisible to non-stand users and said bullets can be manipulated with extreme precision. Literally the only weaknesses of the stand are that it can't instinctively protect Hol Horse like most stands can and the fact that the bullets get weaker the further they get away from Hol Horse. Still even with that, its a crazy strong stand and Hol Horse RARELY even uses it , again, because he's such a coward on his own
it's still a wonder how David Productions dropped two back to back bangers among bangers with the Boingo Beats Props to Jonathan fighting Dio after all this time.
Jonathan really is the unsung hero of this part. I'm convinced that the entire reason that Dio spent this whole part cowardly hiding in his mansion is because he was worried about his body failing at a crucial moment. If Dio had been able to assume full control earlier, he likely would have confronted the Crusaders himself rather than continuing to send more minions to inevitably fail. And if Dio had attacked the Crusaders at any point, they probably would have failed. All of these battles have served as experience for Jotaro to grow his power, allowing him to unlock his abilities, and that's the only way they won. If Dio had just shown up when they were in India or something, there's no shot that Jotaro can do anything. Even in death, Jonathan was a real one.
16:59 Same! I love that they do a lot of different songs using Jotaro's theme's leitmotiff. And this one is great! It's called "The Plot Lurking in the Mist" if you wanna know
I think something interesting to think about is that since the book is 100% accurate, it’s predictions could be influenced by people actually reading the book, like under normal circumstances there’s no way hol horse would put his fingers in polnareff’s nose but because he read the book and it says that’s what he does then he’s compelled to do it
My guess for why Boingo's stand is called invincible is because the predictions it makes is based on if they had gotten the predictions. It's like pre-predicting events that occur because of predictions This means that the predictions are more like a guide book to attain a possible future.
17:06 Isn't it crazy? It's true, Joseph never met Dio, and even so he has known him ever since he was born. Even though Joseph has never met Dio, he was the cause of his grandfather's death, and indirect cause of his father's death and mother leaving him. The Joestar bloodline truly is tragic. And all thanks to one single person

to preface, i'm about to explain exactly how future vision (AKA Thoth in this situation) works in JoJo. don't worry, this only concerns the information presented so far, if something else happens concerning future vision later, then i won't be talking about it in my explanation. Thoth's power is to predict the future. in JoJo, future vision = fated to occur. we see this with Will Zeppeli in Part 1, where a guy predicted his future. the facts shown in Thoths manga will come true no matter what, you see. so, in the situation in this episode, it was fated that Hol Horse would dropkick that woman. technically, Hol Horse was 'forced' to do that, but he would of done it anyway. even if he never read Thoth. in this case, he was intrigued by greed, because Thoth said he would get paid and become rich from it. if he didn't team up with Boingo, he still would of dropkicked this woman, but, for a different reason. essentially, the small details may change, but the fated parts will occur no matter what. Thoth's manga essentially tells only the fated parts, ignoring the little details which are subject to change. of course, more specifically, since Thoth's manga is titled 'Oingo Boingo Brothers' Adventures', it specifically predicts fate around Oingo and Boingo. mostly Boingo, since that's Thoth's user. hope that makes sense! hope this helps, Alicia and Ant.

The Breakdown: Tohth is a simple utility stand which tells the future. It does so through the form of a Manga, the "Oingo Boingo Brothers Adventure", where the present and near future are inscribed in its pages in a manga format that is centered around the books reader. Anything that is written is guaranteed to happen, however the book does not show literally everything that will happen between the present and point, leaving the order of events which lead to that point a mystery to the reader, forcing them to trust its predictions no matter how wild it may get. An important thing to note is that if one tries to actively avoid what is fated to happen, it will happen but fate will also punish them with increasingly dangerous, not projected, outcomes to their activities. That or perhaps its the stand that is punishing those who try to betray it - who knows? The main weakness of this stand is that it only shows the near future - the direct ramifications of certain events may not pan out within the pages currently shown, meaning that while it is good for predicting the new future, what might happen between then and now and then and the future are unknown and may be unfavorable to the reader. Anyways jojos main theme is all about “fate” which is basically about people who are destined to follow a path laid out for them, toth is one of the few stands in the series that can tell the future, fate can be changed thru your actions but the outcome will remain the same or come closer to the individual, stands are also bond by fate as well but I won’t explain it cause part 4 of jojos will explain stands in much greater detail 😊 Part three of jojo is the introduction of stands and part four is the explanation of stands, part 5 is the origins of how stands came to be and part 6 is about how far stands can really go, be prepared for the next few parts 😊.
I think all Zenyatta actually had to do to win is stay in the Jotaro disguise & lie about needing to use the restroom after reaching the hospital. Then, the real Jotaro would've shown up, they would've left without knowing anything was wrong, & he would've eaten the orange. When the car got there, Jotaro was just arriving, which means they would've gotten there before him if Zenyatta didn't lie about needing to shit behind a rock & the first thing he did after they found him was eat an orange. Zenyatta would only really need to worry about them possibly seeing Jotaro on the way there or seeing Jotaro come through the entrance, thus revealing that there's a fake but neither of those things would likely happen since they'd contradict the prediction.
i don't think the book has any contorl over the events, just shows the future, and Hol Horse was in negation but at the very last moment he wanted to believed in the prediction and went for it
I just hope you guys don't make us wait super long for part 4 reactions after you finish part 3. Part 4 is my 2nd favorite JoJo part, 1st being part 2 of course
Thoth’s ability is super powerful, but not incredibly useful. It’s predictions are absolute, just open to interpretation. The things in the book WILL always happen no matter what, even if it’s eventually, but if the book shows you something you don’t like too fucking bad ig

for anyone who is having a hard time understanding the bizarre shit happening in jojo's: to quote team four star: "The manga was made for kids. Just accept the premise"
@@WillGlacier JoJo hasn't been Shounen for around 17-18 years now though. Plus it always was on the borderline side of Shounen and Seinen beforehand even if still Shounen mainly, so kids is quite an overstatement. Except for maybe Giorno, all other JoJos Part 1-6 are closer to adults than kids, with Jonathan and Joseph being 20 and 18 even, which are quite anomalies in regards to Shounen (usually the age of a protagonist in Shounen reflects around the reader's age with whom the reader identifies, so later teens for JoJo and borderline adulthood). Nor does it mean that if something is bizarre and "illogical" things happen in it, it is automatically for kids. I mention this because usually, most people upon hearing "it is for kids" imagine that there is nothing intelligent about a work, or it is just dumb and not worth regarding/respecting, which definitely is not the case with JoJo and few would think it would contain such strong scenes and violence upon hearing "It is for kids". As much as some annoying fans keep trying with their "Uh...I misremembered, straight up missed and/or purposefully misinterpreted what is given, but Araki forgot and he is a bad writer, duh...", but that is a different thing.
@@WillGlacier yes, which is why I say borderline. And I would say teens (or later teens) is a bit better word to use as it is less broad. Even if he still is technically a "kid", what usually is understood as "kid" is something 15-. I would say that most people upon hearing the word "kid" do not picture a 17 year-old. It is way closer to being an adult than to being a proper kid, even if indeed one is a kid until 18 officially which is true. But a 17 year old vs a 12 year old is quite different in regards to both their behaviour and content suited for them, so the term "kid" is way too broad imo in regards to JoJo to say anything and not misinterpret what a person might picture with such an info. Just my opinion though...
Basically toth didn't work on hol horse's side is because the joestars are fated to face dio. And yes fate is actually a really strong force in jojo ( you'll see in future parts as well) almost no stands in the series no matter how powerful can alter fate. Basically that's why toth doesn't work on jotaro

Anyways jojos main theme is all about “fate” which is basically about people who are destined to follow a path laid out for them, toth is one of the few stands in the series that can tell the future, fate can be changed thru your actions but the outcome will remain the same or come closer to the individual, stands are also bond by fate as well but I won’t explain it cause part 4 of jojos will explain stands in much greater detail 😊
Part three of jojo is the introduction of stands and part four is the explanation of stands, part 5 is the origins of how stands came to be and part 6 is about how far stands can really go, be prepared for the next few parts 😊.
This is honestly one of my favorite cliffhangers in all Jojo for how dumb it is
I will say, this episode also did make me like Boingo 😂 he’s just a lil guy he doesn’t control what the book says
2:00 Yeah, like we never saw his face before in part 1
I LOVE THIS BATTLE, YESS
17:14 his momma was a baby at the time, ant.
holy shit youre right. this is what i mean when i say i really am not that smart lol
Part 4 is my 2nd favorite JoJo part, 1st being part 2 of course
his father was in his momma's belly. His mother saw Dio when she was a baby
Good Grief, Ant's back with new predictions.
He unlocked the TRUE Thoth
Boingo's book of Thoth makes 100% accurate predictions. But they may be up to interpretation.
I dont think Hol Horse gets enough credit for being fully understanding when Boingo threw up on him tbh
Got here just in time to see Boingo and WHOLE HORSE!
Maximum mammalian
Entire Equine
Number 2 and number 2 teaming up
They left us hanging on the nose.
Im nervous of the upcoming episodes and how they'll feel
Fun fact: Boingo predict 9/11 in the manga
I like how all your thumbnail is just you Yelling yelling cry yelling yelling cry XD
And they forgot the end credits 😅
We did it on Patreon
I need ya'll to guess what DIO's ability is. I'm really interested in what you think
Comments for the algorithm god! Clicks for the engagement throne! Thanks for the video.
Thoth’s ability is super powerful, but not incredibly useful. It’s predictions are absolute, just open to interpretation. The things in the book WILL always happen no matter what, even if it’s eventually, but if the book shows you something you don’t like too fucking bad ig
9:51 Ant is talking a lot of crap about Thoth when he basically has the same power minus the book when it comes to predicting the plot of shows
you think i got a problem talking crap about myself too? im my own biggest hater lmao
@@antussy 💀
Joseph had never met DIO
George the second was the one in the belly
the Totum Equus is back!
Polnareff shouldn’t have been so…nosy! Get it?
Hehe… I’ll show myself out.
Hol horse is that guy
I had always thought Hol Horse was a reference to Full Force.
I just find it unfortunate that the anime hasn't made it past all the filler to get to the true canon of Jojo
Patreon guys
Please tell them about opening changes
dont know why they choose to trad oingo and boingo brother as zenyatta and mondata ...
Love your reactions nothing but laughs today remember to watch gundam witch from mercury music video it's show foreshadowing and the difference between sully and eri

for anyone who is having a hard time understanding the bizarre shit happening in jojo's:
to quote team four star: "The manga was made for kids. Just accept the premise"
@@joelsasmad It's Shonen Jump soooo yeah. Hey man Japanese kids are built diff I guess
@@mordraug6662 idk man teens are still kids in my eyes and jotaro is 17.
Spoilers,
It does work on him, just not yet. And besides, it was loopholes that saved jotaro, fate wasn't showing Thoth everything, just parts.
@@TimothyGod rather than fate not showing Thoth enough, I would rather say Thoth is being a vague bitch and not saying enough. The stand is very mysterious and pretty much uncontrollable. It just says what is gonna happen and you can either ignore the future and suffer or dance like a monkey.
nice
