Fugo was originally supposed to betray the gang. But araki thought it was too depressing, so he made ciocolata, with a stand very similar to Fugo
Also, there’s a novel called Purple Haze Feedback which stars Fugo and it takes place months after the end of Vento Aureo. While not written by Araki, he did provide illustrations for it.
There’s also another novel called Golden Heart, Golden Ring. Though it takes place during Part 5 right after the gang betrays the boss. And it basically serves as an AU while adding new characters. Once again, Araki didn’t write it but he provided the illustrations for it.
He was supposed to be a Judas to Giorno, who is the Christ figure.

And just to add to that - Chioccolatta's Stand is very similar to Fugo's. So you can see that Fugo's fight with the team was supposed to happen at this point, but due to Araki's decision, Secco and Cioccolatta are created for this moment.

I don't like how people are mixing the fact that Fugo was supposed to come back as a traitor but Araki decided against it, and the theory that Cioccolata was made to replace Fugo. This theory-fact mixup already happened when people kept pointing out the Epitaph is Doppio's stand, when its NOT and just a theory, bc in reality it's just part of King Crimson's ability.
People love to run with beliefs that are convenient to them, rather than beliefs that hold up to fact-based scrutiny.

Alicia's description of what she expected for Fugo at like 8:40 was actually a pretty good summary of the original plan for his character. Unfortunately, Araki was pretty depressed when writing parts 5 and 6, and since he really grew to love the characters of part 5 and thought that having Fugo betray the squad and be killed by Giorno was too upsetting and didnt want to draw it, so he had Fugo's story continue in a later novel called Purple Haze Feedback

But he did choose it to win the contest and he illustrated it. As far as I'm concerned it's canon (mainly because I like it)

@@emblemblade9245 YES there as so many people who says stuff like:”PURPLE HAZE FEEDBACK IS NOT CANON AND ITS TRASH!” and EVEN if it isn’t canon, the manga seems really cool(I haven’t read it but heard of it and spoiled some stands). This reminds me of the same situation in SCP fandom where fan stories can be considered as canon and non-canon, the reader chooses themselves however they want.
They didn't throw away Giorno's damage-reflecting ability. It's just that the only people who attacked the life forms Giorno made after Bucciarati were Ghiaccio (who is immune to his own cold) and Cioccolata (who attacks using mold, which would make the attacks reflect onto the mold, not him).

The issue isn't that that Araki forgets about that ability. The problem is when you establish something, it messes with the audience when that thing is never relevant or mentioned again. Giorno's damage reflection is part of Giorno's stand and character introduction. Why would you introduce an ability as a way of showing how someone's stand works and then never actually use the stand like that ever again. This is like Chekhov's gun. Same with Fugo never coming back. It doesn't help that Giorno invents new abilities for Gold Experience every new fight he is in

Tbf the only people giorno hit directly with his stand were bucciarati, cioccolata and the boss at the end so the soul removing ability never came in handy again unless you count diavolo's purgatory as a super version of it
2:17 Well, Giorno ended up going against opponents that could bypass this trait. Either they attacked indirectly or never actually hurt the life-given creatures. Also, for the case of Diavolo crushing the scorpion at the end he never did that in the manga so it doesn't count.
And regarding the senses going berserk aspect of Gold Experience, it's implied it still occurs but there's no need to show it in detail from the enemy's side apart from the first time, especially since whenever Giorno did do it after the initial time it would be a finishing barrage or blow, like for Cioccolata.
All this to say I'm just like any Jojo fan and I'm only remembering things off the top of my head I saw in other videos explaining this, but at the very least I'm giving you a general idea.
True that. All that mind boost does, is make the damage feel more painful, but it doesn't increase the physical damage, or affect the game state in any way. So it's not even a starfinger type of debate. All that's important, is that giorno CAN mindfuck anyone he punches. So there's no reason he couldn't mindfuck chiocolata, and no reason why he wouldn't, and no outside indicator on whether he did or didn't so we are allowed to imagine that that 7 page muda was really a 700 page muda.
We also don't know, if giorno knows that he can even do that, as he said in his fight against Bruno, that he doesn't know, what effect his life punch has on a human. Bruno does, but we don't know if he told giorno, as he doesn't know whether giorno knows his own ability.
But the best use of that power is still it's upgrade, the death loop, which does the same thing, only worse and forever across multiple time lines. 🎉 Giorno definitely doesn't know what that did to diavolo, he just has a hunch, that diavolo isn't coming back.

I think damage reflection arguably goes away (because the gang's bodies are approximately 90% Gold Experience replacements by the end).
I think it's fair to assume that consciousness berzerking still exists, if only because there's no proof it doesn't.

I dunno if you talked about it, but the reason as to why Giorno never uses the life energy infusion thing after the bruno fight is because to use it, he'd need to hit a human. Giorno absolutely hits stuff, just not many human opponents since they're mostly fighting using their Stands. Just a heads up :p

King crimson: it just works
Gold experience requiem: no it doesn’t
Ok, you know what? fuck it. Here's the full explanation of how King Crimson works:
1.- King Crimson activates his ability like all other temporal stands. His ability last for up to 10 seconds each time it's activated (So it can be 1, 4, 7 or however many seconds he needs).
2.- During this period of time EVERYONE besides Diavolo is locked in time. They'll do whatever they were going to do and follow along fate (So imagine there's a multiverse with every possible option, but as soon as King Crimson activates there's only 1 possible option).
3.- Every action taken during this time will be superimposed on itself (So Diavolo will be able to see what action everyone takes and react accordingly).
4.- While this effect is active Diavolo and King Crimson are completely intangible (Which is why the bullets went through him when he was fighting Risotto. Also why he doesn't attack people while his ability is active and instead times his attacks to hit as soon as his ability ends. Just like with Josuke and Giorno, when his blood leaves his body it's no longer part of himself, which is why he can throw his blood at people to blind them while his ability is active.)
5.- Actions that included Diavolo will still happen, but he won't need to do them at all. (IE. In the elevator he was supposed to jump down, cut off Trish's hand, then leave. He saw that with Epitaph, and then activated his ability so he wouldn't have to do that at all, and just let fat itself move Trish towards him. Same thing with Narancia. He was going to punch him and make him fall onto the spikes of the fence, so he activated his ability so that'd happen without him having to do that).
6.- When his ability ends any time spent in it will be completely be erased from existence, with only Diavolo being able to remember it. Since this completely erases actions and only leaves results this is why Diavolo's ability is also called a causality ability along with a temporal one, since it removes the cause, but leaves the effect.
Since he's able to move however he wishes and avoid any repercutions in the erased time, this is also why Diavolo can avoid fate that'd result in his death. This is why only another stand that affects fate like Golden Experience Requiem is able to defeat him, since it's his complete counter (Returning everything to zero, effectively removing the effect and only leaving the initial cause, or starting point).
They didn't throw away Giorno's Life Punch. The ability doesn't effect Stands and only triggers when Gold Experience imbues Life into the enemy User.
And so if something is introduced and never used ever again, what would you call that?

Details I love:
In the last video, when everyone was saying "Have a good flight" to Reimi and Arnold as they went to heaven, Jotaro was throwing Koichi to Italy and saying it to him instead. At the end of that vid when they're staring at the sunset, you can see him flying away and that's how he comes into this vid.
When Koichi is talking to Jotaro on the phone, you can hear Mista shouting "I KILLED FATE" from the end of the video when he destroys Rolling Stones, as the canon timeline matches up with when Koichi and Jotaro were discussing Giorno before he'd met the gang.
Following on from the last one, when we first meet the gang, Mista shouts "A CIRCLE!" This is because at the end of the video, which happens before Giorno meets the gang and during Koichi's call with Jotaro, he struggles to find a word to describe Rolling Stones.
At 4:44 in the original vid, Mista gets struck by lightning cos it's his unlucky number.
When everyone switches bodies, even the narrator switches, hence his line "I CAN'T SAY I KNOW WHAT I'M DOING HERE." Judging from the voice, it might be Okuyasu.
In part 2 but really fast, when they meet Lisa Lisa and the screen says "Meanwhile in Venice" you see a split second cut of Giorno, Trish and the gang. In this vid, when they go to Venice, you see a split second cut of Joseph, Caesar and Lisa Lisa.
Mista said “a circle” because he was still trying to figure out what shape The Rolling Stones stand was

I found that Your Only Move is Hustle (YOMI hustle), frame by frame turn based game, has the best way to explain King Crimson via mods.
In the game, you can predict what the enemy might pull next and if that move could hit you-- With the King Crimson mod you could skip the frames where the enemy's move hits you and even skip to the end of the animation in an instant

The best explanation I’ve ever heard of how King Crimson and Gold Experience Requiem is that King Crimson removes cause and leaves effect, and Gold Experience Requiem leaves cause but removes effect.

Purple Haze Feedback is a fanmade book and really good and generally held as somewhat canon by the fanbase so you should read it in your spare time because its so cool that something that one of the characters does in the game is adapted into an official video game.

How King Crimson and Epitaph work:
1: Epitaph allows King Crimson to see up to 10 seconds in the future. This allows Diovolo to see his death and skip time past it with King Crimson.
2: Epitaphs vision can be seen by anyone, which is why Diovolo hides it in his hair. This is how bruno saw his future self in the first fight against the boss, Diovolo had shown him Epitaphs vision.
3: Diovolo cannot be damaged while in skipped time. This allows him to avoid dying when Epitaph shows his death.
4: Diovolo cannot interact with the world in skipped time. (You can see him moving into place to attack or launching blood at polnareffs eyes just before skipped time ends, but he doesnt attack until it actually does end)
5: When Diovolo skips time, if he was fated to do something during that time, it will still happen, without Diovolo doing it. (He was fated to kill Narancia, so when he skipped time, Narancia was killed the way he wouldve died had Diovolo not skipped time.) This is in my opinion the most confusing aspect of his ability.

Y'all should watch the "Araki Forgot" series. Shows misconceptions in the series that were more clear in the manga.
Alright. So here’s what happens with a regular stand arrow. Essentially, when Yoshikage Kira’s stand merges with the stand arrow- its ability is to set a “footprint” in time, and when Kira is exposed- he himself can set time to a “zero state”.
The Requiem Arrow however, is the perfected form of that ability. Remember back to the scene where Diavolo is perusing GioGio, after the arrow merges with him?
When Diavolo sees into the future, he realizes how he can easily kill GioGio. He charges at him and blinds him with his blood, then goes in for the finishing blow.
It is at THIS MOMENT in time, that the requiem arrow not only briefly PAUSES time, but then reverses it to a “zero state”. And then it says the line: (and I quote): “this is requiem”.
However, because the Requiem Arrow is essentially a PERFECT STAND ARROW, that also means that the Requiem ABILITY, is ALSO PERFECTED. Meaning Golden Experience Requiem also has the ability to set to an INFINITE state if it kills someone.
At THIS POINT, it will actually activate the same ability as (Yoshikage Kira’s) “Killer Queen: Bites the Dust”, but with one major improvement: that being the fact that it is entirely REMOTE, as in it doesn’t require GioGio to be nearby, as I can only assume it basically sends someone to purgatory.
The name “Requiem” is actually a Special Service (called a “Mass”) in the Catholic Church, usually performed to send a soul home to the afterlife.
So essentially, by G.E.R. killing Diavolo, he likely goes to Hell, and experiences death similar to when Kira got revealed- everyone died as a result. However NOW, it’s a form of eternal punishment, for the souls of evil. (But it does the same thing, as the whole “footprint in time”, and then setting to a “zero state”. But it’s also sending Diavolo’s soul through an infinite amount of alternate dimensions an infinite amount of times).
Sorry that took so long to explain, but I honestly don’t feel like spending another second doing so, as I’m currently on my phone doing all of this. (There’s also a lot to explain STILL, like the fact that the requiem arrow’s power ONLY WORKS for someone who receives their stand FROM it.
The same thing goes for a regular stand Arrow. This is why it fucked with Silver Chariot so much, which could have either severed Polinarieff’s connection to it because of the whole alternate dimension thing, and the fact that it can kinda fuck with time).

Okey, so when Diavolo throws his own blood to blind Polnareff's sight, it is technically not possible, for he isn't able to interact with objects once he skips time. However, I think it was already commented on part four, but once blood leaves out the body, it's stops counting as part of the stand user, and that is why also once the blood leaves out the body it is inmediately slowed down.
I know this is late but the reason Mista was struck by lightning at 6:40 was he's afraid of the number 4, and that exact time on the actual video is 4:44.

My best explanation for king crimson is that it gives Diavolo the power to alter his own fate and everyone else is stuck in their own. So everything happens as it “should” except for what Diavolo changes and everyone but Diavolo is unaware of what happened. This is augmented by his other ability epitaph which allows Diavolo to see 10 seconds into the future so he pick the right monomers to skip with king crimson

I think the easiest way to understand the Jojo villains' Stand abilities from part 3 to 6, is to compare them to a tv remote control while choosing options on a DVD menu. For instance:
Dio's The World pauses time,
Kira's Killer Queen Bites the Dust loops back time,
Diavolo's King Crimson skips ahead time while selecting which scene to watch,
and Pucci's Made in Heaven (censored because spoilers)
Is this simple enough for you?

Rolling stones was trying to end early Bruno's fate so it shaped itself into Bruno, Bruno is Trish, Rolling stones is also Trish
Naracia is Trish
Naracia went in Giorno's body, Giorno went into naracia's, Giorno is Trish
Mista went inside Trish's body and Trish went inside Mist's body, Mista is Trish
Half of the part five cast are Ant's self inserts, half of the part five cast are Trish, so Ant is also Trish
Naracia is Alicia's self insert, Naracia is Trish, Alicia is also trish
At the end of the day everyone is Trish, we all are... we just aren't aware
