@Grover it kinda is cannon because araki liked it a lot, bit of a story but other comments already say this, araki really liked the part 5 gang and the thought of having gio kill fugo was too much ( he was depressed at the time) so he "shelved" fugo and made chiocolata
2:17 Well, Giorno ended up going against opponents that could bypass this trait. Either they attacked indirectly or never actually hurt the life-given creatures. Also, for the case of Diavolo crushing the scorpion at the end he never did that in the manga so it doesn't count. And regarding the senses going berserk aspect of Gold Experience, it's implied it still occurs but there's no need to show it in detail from the enemy's side apart from the first time, especially since whenever Giorno did do it after the initial time it would be a finishing barrage or blow, like for Cioccolata. All this to say I'm just like any Jojo fan and I'm only remembering things off the top of my head I saw in other videos explaining this, but at the very least I'm giving you a general idea.
True that. All that mind boost does, is make the damage feel more painful, but it doesn't increase the physical damage, or affect the game state in any way. So it's not even a starfinger type of debate. All that's important, is that giorno CAN mindfuck anyone he punches. So there's no reason he couldn't mindfuck chiocolata, and no reason why he wouldn't, and no outside indicator on whether he did or didn't so we are allowed to imagine that that 7 page muda was really a 700 page muda. We also don't know, if giorno knows that he can even do that, as he said in his fight against Bruno, that he doesn't know, what effect his life punch has on a human. Bruno does, but we don't know if he told giorno, as he doesn't know whether giorno knows his own ability. But the best use of that power is still it's upgrade, the death loop, which does the same thing, only worse and forever across multiple time lines. 🎉 Giorno definitely doesn't know what that did to diavolo, he just has a hunch, that diavolo isn't coming back.
They didn't throw away Giorno's damage-reflecting ability. It's just that the only people who attacked the life forms Giorno made after Bucciarati were Ghiaccio (who is immune to his own cold) and Cioccolata (who attacks using mold, which would make the attacks reflect onto the mold, not him).
The issue isn't that that Araki forgets about that ability. The problem is when you establish something, it messes with the audience when that thing is never relevant or mentioned again. Giorno's damage reflection is part of Giorno's stand and character introduction. Why would you introduce an ability as a way of showing how someone's stand works and then never actually use the stand like that ever again. This is like Chekhov's gun. Same with Fugo never coming back. It doesn't help that Giorno invents new abilities for Gold Experience every new fight he is in

The best explanation I’ve ever heard of how King Crimson and Gold Experience Requiem is that King Crimson removes cause and leaves effect, and Gold Experience Requiem leaves cause but removes effect.
I love the overlapping jokes with the animations like the same plane crashing bit, young Joseph saying he wants to be spider man someday then him saying “always wish appon a star” while swinging, the Venice jump at 12:30 , and of course the “technically not a man in the mirror”, “technically not a hAnGeD mAN!”
8:30 "I really thought when Fugo betrayed them, he would come back and they would have a hard fight..." apparently, that was the initial plan? But then the author's depression happened and he didn't feel like doing that
Ok, you know what? fuck it. Here's the full explanation of how King Crimson works: 1.- King Crimson activates his ability like all other temporal stands. His ability last for up to 10 seconds each time it's activated (So it can be 1, 4, 7 or however many seconds he needs). 2.- During this period of time EVERYONE besides Diavolo is locked in time. They'll do whatever they were going to do and follow along fate (So imagine there's a multiverse with every possible option, but as soon as King Crimson activates there's only 1 possible option). 3.- Every action taken during this time will be superimposed on itself (So Diavolo will be able to see what action everyone takes and react accordingly). 4.- While this effect is active Diavolo and King Crimson are completely intangible (Which is why the bullets went through him when he was fighting Risotto. Also why he doesn't attack people while his ability is active and instead times his attacks to hit as soon as his ability ends. Just like with Josuke and Giorno, when his blood leaves his body it's no longer part of himself, which is why he can throw his blood at people to blind them while his ability is active.) 5.- Actions that included Diavolo will still happen, but he won't need to do them at all. (IE. In the elevator he was supposed to jump down, cut off Trish's hand, then leave. He saw that with Epitaph, and then activated his ability so he wouldn't have to do that at all, and just let fate itself move Trish towards him. Same thing with Narancia. He was going to punch him and make him fall onto the spikes of the fence, so he activated his ability so that'd happen without him having to do that). 6.- When his ability ends any time spent in it will be completely erased from existence, with only Diavolo being able to remember it. Since this completely erases actions and only leaves results this is why Diavolo's ability is also called a causality ability along with a temporal one, since it removes the cause, but leaves the effect. Since he's able to move however he wishes and avoid any repercutions in the erased time, this is also why Diavolo can avoid fate that'd result in his death. This is why only another stand that affects fate like Golden Experience Requiem is able to defeat him, since it's his complete counter (Returning everything to zero, effectively removing the effect and only leaving the initial cause, or starting point).
@@gulpin768 Diavolo becomes completely intangible during King Crimson's effect, so stuff can pass through him. Theoretically he should be able to pass through stuff like walls as well, but I can see him not doing that because it can be dangerous if the effect ends while he's going through a wall. I don't think it was ever shown him doing that though. Only things like bullets passing through him.
@@Arvenyte But then following that logic, King Crimson and Diavolo would phase through the floor, and if we’e talking intangibility, then how would he be able to get Narancia on the metal bars?
20:35 Okey, so when Diavolo throws his own blood to blind Polnareff's sight, it is technically not possible, for he isn't able to interact with objects once he skips time. However, I think it was already commented on part four, but once blood leaves out the body, it's stops counting as part of the stand user, and that is why also once the blood leaves out the body it is inmediately slowed down.
I know this is late but the reason Mista was struck by lightning at 6:40 was he's afraid of the number 4, and that exact time on the actual video is 4:44.
My best explanation for king crimson is that it gives Diavolo the power to alter his own fate and everyone else is stuck in their own. So everything happens as it “should” except for what Diavolo changes and everyone but Diavolo is unaware of what happened. This is augmented by his other ability epitaph which allows Diavolo to see 10 seconds into the future so he pick the right monomers to skip with king crimson
How King Crimson and Epitaph work: 1: Epitaph allows King Crimson to see up to 10 seconds in the future. This allows Diovolo to see his death and skip time past it with King Crimson. 2: Epitaphs vision can be seen by anyone, which is why Diovolo hides it in his hair. This is how bruno saw his future self in the first fight against the boss, Diovolo had shown him Epitaphs vision. 3: Diovolo cannot be damaged while in skipped time. This allows him to avoid dying when Epitaph shows his death. 4: Diovolo cannot interact with the world in skipped time. (You can see him moving into place to attack or launching blood at polnareffs eyes just before skipped time ends, but he doesnt attack until it actually does end) 5: When Diovolo skips time, if he was fated to do something during that time, it will still happen, without Diovolo doing it. (He was fated to kill Narancia, so when he skipped time, Narancia was killed the way he wouldve died had Diovolo not skipped time.) This is in my opinion the most confusing aspect of his ability.
I think the easiest way to understand the Jojo villains' Stand abilities from part 3 to 6, is to compare them to a tv remote control while choosing options on a DVD menu. For instance: Dio's The World pauses time, Kira's Killer Queen Bites the Dust loops back time, Diavolo's King Crimson skips ahead time while selecting which scene to watch, and Pucci's Made in Heaven (censored because spoilers) Is this simple enough for you?

They didn’t throw away the damage reflection, no one attacks a gold experience creation again. (Diavolo hitting the scorpion is an anime only error)
1:41 this is a part where mista falls with rolling stones from the building
Naranshoe is a very jojo meme, as many characters are turned into shoe versions because it’s a bizarre joke that people like
Y'all should watch the "Araki Forgot" series. Shows misconceptions in the series that were more clear in the manga.
Mista got struck by lightning at 4:44 (in the original video) because of all the fours lol
Mista said “a circle” because he was still trying to figure out what shape The Rolling Stones stand was
12:20 The funny thing is that unless Narancia asked them, he died thinking Giorno gave Mista the succ
I dunno if you talked about it, but the reason as to why Giorno never uses the life energy infusion thing after the bruno fight is because to use it, he'd need to hit a human. Giorno absolutely hits stuff, just not many human opponents since they're mostly fighting using their Stands. Just a heads up :p
@@soul6733 he was dead. Also, he *was* infused with life energy but the anime didn't show that.
@@soul6733 Do you really want the anime to go on a full minute tangent about an ability that we already know about?
When you think about it, GER's punches are basically an advanced form of the life energy thing in the sense that he "can't" die.
King Crimson: It just Works.
GER: No it doesn't.
Alicia confusing JoJo Stands for stans before watching the series and having no reaction to TFS making that joke, and Ant talking about Breath Of The Wild stasis ability during the Kraft Work fight and having no reaction to this video making that joke actually became two of my favorite ironic moments of the channel
I can't wait to test Ant's "Dio is back in part 7" theory.
Wait it hasn't been animated yet. I guess I have to wait.
Don't spoil It
@@flyingorange2482 I didn't. Tests can have many outcomes. Maybe he's wrong, maybe he's right, maybe it's something in between. We'll just have to wait like 5 years for the next animated part to see.
Trish asked Fugo to take off his shirt to wipe her hands on it when they first met. (Maybe this is why he didn't wanna protect her from the boss.😂)
i think that "THATS NNNNNOT HOW THAT WORKS!!!" from ghiaccio is my favorite joke in the video lol, especially since hes right. you cant have negative Kelvin, and Kelvin isnt measured in degrees
I'd just like to point out everyone calls white album frozone but if memory serves me correct he was created before frozone existed so technically frozone is a jojo reference
"In part 7, Dio's back"
*Yesn't*
King crimson: it just works
Gold experience requiem: no it doesn’t
King Crimson is a very contradictory stand, it changes its own fate, but it can't affect others in time skip, except for when it does
Also Ant's Odd Part Theory with Dio is pretty true, in Part 7, iykyk
4:57 "He banging the fish." You found the Kujo Dolphin meme. Great job.
Technically, all tortoises are turtles, but not all turtles are tortoises.
You should definitely watch "If Okuyasu actually used Za Hando" and "If Fugo actually used Purple Haze"!
Yall really need to watch the "Debunking Araki Forgot" series by Hamon Beat. It's a series of videos covering all the "plot holes" from all the currently released parts of Jojo's (Besides Part 9). He goes into details about why people believe these plot holes and brings up actual evidence as to why they are false. Very cool watch, if you want.
There are some terrestrial turtles, like box turtles, technically speaking.
6:40 is the part in the original video timing that Mista was reacting to it being 4 : 44 lol
21:32
Chariot Requiem has affected everyone....included the narrator.😉
Also...MISTA IS TRISH!!🤣
They didn't throw away Giorno's Life Punch. The ability doesn't effect Stands and only triggers when Gold Experience imbues Life into the enemy User.
And so if something is introduced and never used ever again, what would you call that?
I’d call it throwing it away
@@hobbes6392 so waste time always seeing that shit? Theres no point in showing it
@@hobbes6392 I mean it was technically used again since Chicolatta got to experience the 7 page muda for like 1,000 years or some shit because of his sped up perception.
@@ZanathKariashi I mean you’re saying that’s what happened, the narrative never bothered to say that’s what happened
27:40 god damn, he was technically right
So fun fact! All of Golden wind happens within a few days or so. Which means Mista shot him self on average once every other hour
Fun fact: fugo does make a comeback in the manga where he deals with diavolos demolition team after Giorno becomes mafioso
Fun fact: when everyones body swaps in this video, the narrator sounds like okuyasu from part 4 but fast
Purple Haze Feedback is a fanmade book and really good and generally held as somewhat canon by the fanbase so you should read it in your spare time because its so cool that something that one of the characters does in the game is adapted into an official video game.
The best explanation I’ve ever heard of how King Crimson and Gold Experience Requiem is that King Crimson removes cause and leaves effect, and Gold Experience Requiem leaves cause but removes effect.
GER removed the cause also. That was the rewinding bit.
There is also a Rohan OVA but really really fast, you should watch that one as well
I love the overlapping jokes with the animations like the same plane crashing bit, young Joseph saying he wants to be spider man someday then him saying “always wish appon a star” while swinging, the Venice jump at 12:30 , and of course the “technically not a man in the mirror”, “technically not a hAnGeD mAN!”
15:24 Spice Girl is veeeeeeery briefly used in the finale against Diavolo.
YT's 10-sec-skip feature a JOJO REFERENCE
I think it will be interesting to you to watch series of videos "Debunking Araki forgot". It will have answers on huge numbers of questions.
8:30 "I really thought when Fugo betrayed them, he would come back and they would have a hard fight..."
apparently, that was the initial plan? But then the author's depression happened and he didn't feel like doing that
Mista got hit by lightning at 4:44 (in the video) I’m sure you can guess why
DIO does not come back in Part 6!
No matter how hard his gay priest BF tries.
Dio back in part 7? Wild. Let's wait for the anime adapatation then 💀
"that's so bizzare" 1, 2, 3 ... "oh my god..."
I find it hilarious how you gave everyone a nickname expect Mista.
2:51 - You're probably wodering about the scene with Diavolo. In the manga, Diavolo doesn't touch the scorpions.
27:25 oh no oh nonono
Ok, you know what? fuck it. Here's the full explanation of how King Crimson works:
1.- King Crimson activates his ability like all other temporal stands.
Just like with Josuke and Giorno, when his blood leaves his body it's no longer part of himself, which is why he can throw his blood at people to blind them while his ability is active.)
5.- Actions that included Diavolo will still happen, but he won't need to do them at all.
I know you're probably don't have the same phone now but it's actually helped me understand how King crimson works thank you
@@NilesLangston1234 I'm glad it helped! I see way too many people just waving it off to not bother explaining how some stands work.
☝️can Diavolo walk through walls?
@@gulpin768 Diavolo becomes completely intangible during King Crimson's effect, so stuff can pass through him. Theoretically he should be able to pass through stuff like walls as well, but I can see him not doing that because it can be dangerous if the effect ends while he's going through a wall. I don't think it was ever shown him doing that though. Only things like bullets passing through him.
@@Arvenyte But then following that logic, King Crimson and Diavolo would phase through the floor, and if we’e talking intangibility, then how would he be able to get Narancia on the metal bars?
Oh and Polpo also had a voice effect in the anime, that's the joke
He isn't wrong about his odd part theory tho 😆
Well technically epic foreshadowing 27:19 but not really it complex and hard to explain
20:35
Okey, so when Diavolo throws his own blood to blind Polnareff's sight, it is technically not possible, for he isn't able to interact with objects once he skips time.
She Loves Narancia, but I know she’ll love emporio
My best explanation for king crimson is that it gives Diavolo the power to alter his own fate and everyone else is stuck in their own. So everything happens as it “should” except for what Diavolo changes and everyone but Diavolo is unaware of what happened. This is augmented by his other ability epitaph which allows Diavolo to see 10 seconds into the future so he pick the right monomers to skip with king crimson
I did not realize until recently that in the background when Diavolo kills Nana, the text says "Diavolo is Trish" 😂
This series makes King Crimson out to be complicated when it's not, it remains the same people are literally just not paying attention
"he Will be back in part 7"
Ant, you are right but actually wrong
So crazy that this part was ONE FUCKING WEEK.
27:24 whos gonna tell him
How King Crimson and Epitaph work:
1: Epitaph allows King Crimson to see up to 10 seconds in the future.
(You can see him moving into place to attack or launching blood at polnareffs eyes just before skipped time ends, but he doesnt attack until it actually does end)
5: When Diovolo skips time, if he was fated to do something during that time, it will still happen, without Diovolo doing it. (He was fated to kill Narancia, so when he skipped time, Narancia was killed the way he wouldve died had Diovolo not skipped time.) This is in my opinion the most confusing aspect of his ability.
Would you like to see that Groovy thing?
Ant still believeing Dio will come back, and in part 7 lmao!
I mean...
Araki wouldn't bring him back just like that... there must be a spin to it
Alicia part 5 really realy-
Alica & ant says something
The viewers: the next thing the video say is
Video says the same thing
Alicia & ant: 😱
I think the easiest way to understand the Jojo villains' Stand abilities from part 3 to 6, is to compare them to a tv remote control while choosing options on a DVD menu. For instance:
Dio's The World pauses time,
Kira's Killer Queen Bites the Dust loops back time,
Diavolo's King Crimson skips ahead time while selecting which scene to watch,
and Pucci's Made in Heaven (censored because spoilers)
Is this simple enough for you?
To be fair, I don't think GE ever hit a non-stand until near the end.
27:00 THAT MAN WAS INSIDE OF ME screams polnareff
there is an unreal satisfaction to hearing that you played backgammon after hearing your take on pistachio ice cream xd
