Fantastic podcast! Joe is truly amazing. It’s so important to exercise and to just keep moving. I will never be a marathon runner, but I am not yet on PD medications, but using exercise as my medicine. 🏃🏼♀️
My husband is 82 and just diagnosed, probably had it for years. My problem with all of this is he was given a prescription, but he won't take the meds. Any suggestion how to deal with this. We are both watching your show and we love it, but it is scary getting to know all, but very helpful..thank you, karen hatch He is also very grumpy.
I just read a book where they talked about taking medication and here's what I found: Medication will help you feel the best you're ever going to feel. The disease is degenerative so it only gets worse, which means, take advantage of the medication working while you can. Because there will come a point where our disease has progressed that medication won't be strong enough.
Book was a great read, a must get for your library. Joe was a great partner for our "over the top relay race"!
Very inspirational. Great job Joe. Your hard work shows very well. Thank you for sharing.
