It's not even a "growing" criticism of the US/Israeli responses honestly - it's beem pretty clear that most people were against the Gaza assault from the start, even after Oct 7. It never makes sense that the "right to defend" is automatically a right to attack let alone indiscriminately. Mehdi also said it exactly right. There's more than Gaza at stake though. Voting rights, abortion rights, corporations paying their fair share of taxes, all sorts of regulations on junk fees and the environment, and many more issues at stake. The way I see it the race is between two genocide-supporting candidates, but one of them also wants to screw over the American people in addition to the Palestinians and the other for the most part doesn't.

Unfortunately, he has not attempted to implement his ideas in the Muslim world.

It's not even a "growing" criticism of the US/Israeli responses honestly - it's beem pretty clear that most people were against the Gaza assault from the start, even after Oct 7. It never makes sense that the "right to defend" is automatically a right to attack let alone indiscriminately.
Mehdi also said it exactly right. You have to engage EVERYBODY on this, not just decide they're a sacrifice you can make in your calculation. And it also just plays to Netanyahu who wants Trump back in power regardless.
