- Im November letzten Jahres präsentierte Cope2, die Graffiti Legende aus der Bronx New York City, seine Werke in der Hamburger Galerie unter dem Namen “Legend by Nature”. Wir trafen ihn in St. Pauli, als er sich gerade malerisch auf einer Wand verewigte, um im Anschluss mit ihm über sein Graffiti Werdegang zu plaudern. Angefangen mit seinen Tags auf Häuserwänden und Zügen in der Bronx im Alter von 10 Jahren, entwickelte sich in den folgenden 30 Jahren ein einzigartige Handschrift - jeder Graffiti-Head sollte seine bekannten Bubble Style Throw Ups kennen. Später kamen Kooperationen mit Brands wie Adidas, Converse oder dem Time Magazine zustande. Auch in der virtuellen Welt von „Grand Theft Aufto IV“ schmücken seine legendären Throw Ups die Wände. Im Interview erzählt er uns wie damals alles begann und wie es war als er sein erstes Piece auf einem Train rollen sah. Außerdem berichtet er über Style Wars mit anderen Writern, Writer‘s Bench, den Knast und natürlich über seine Einzelausstellung in Hamburg. YOUNG BARIUS. You're obviously not hip to your Graff history... Fernando Carlo, (COPE2), IS a graffiti legend. He was king of the train lines. Yeah, he may have ratted on Utah and Ether, or he may not have; that's not relevant to his status that he gained as an All city king and Graff legend. A person doesn't lose that notoriety because they snitch. I personally don't think he did and I don't care, you can show me those papers online all you want that supposedly prove that Cope ratted. I've followed him since I got into the game; he has been my inspiration. He doesn't have let off any vibe of being a snitch. My point is even if someone does something like rat on someone, and they have established themselves as a Graff king/legend, it's their title for life. It doesn't go away. It doesn't get stripped from Fernando just because YOU think or say it should.

Man I got Mad love and Respect for Cope2. He's been in the Graf game since the late 70s early 80s man. A huge inspiration for many. its funny how people who are already famous have to call themselves famous. word of advice cope but never call yourself a legend esp when you are still alive. nothin is more annoying than someone who toots his own horn. esp a graff writer cause so many keep doin it. cope use to always talk about how he destroys everything and how he is all city and the king of the world. if anything you were a king of creation, you created art dude. your throwies were so clean and all city. much props and i hope you can be more positive and creative like a true artist.
