I grew up in Sampaloc, Manila since the 1950's right there at Legarda St. Now, am settled in BATANGAS. I miss the place and my childhood playmates and teen barkadas there. I used to attend masses in both the PATRON CHURCHES (OUR LADY OF LORETO AND SAN ANTONIO). I remember my childhood fear of a statue image of the CRUCIFIED JESUS. Indeed, funny how time slips away and am in my 70's!!!
