hello, i love your adventure :) im heavyengin driver, but not of this,, Not all heavyengin have the mecnique or hydroliq power for push one other vehicle or for simply run in bad road. :)
That front end loader operator appeared to know exactly what to do when it came to pushing those trucks with just the right connection and pushed with minimal to no damage to the trucks. Excellent Job!
when i was driving bitumen tanker trucks in the uk some of the quarrys had very steep hills and we needed the front loader bucket to pull us up them. the power those things have is fantastic we just let the handbrake off and off we go no power needed from us just enjoy the ride.
Thanks Kyle. Can relate... used to live that existence too years ago. When we’re in the US it’s so easy to get complacent. Looking forward to getting back to Africa in August and trekking north from South Africa to Ethiopia and back to find people doing good for wildlife.
All of them seem to have just Tanzanian plates. Of course a lot of truck manufacturers sell their products all over the globe. Don't see any Kenworths in amongst the lot, just European brands and Hyundai buses.
carlos.a.v carvajal u have not been to third world countries. Kenya, Tanzania, Zimbabwe , most all African roads are in constant need of repair . Serious repair!
So much of Africa is changing so quickly these days. Just look at these trucks and cars. Sure, they are not brand new. But it's still nice well-maintained vehicles.
NextBase Czeon the only real trucks are american followed by german then swedish especially quality wise Peterbilt International kenworth and especially the "beast" MACK, are simply the best in power, build and quality- Mack being the leader in endurance and stamina -hands down.
Paccar trucks are ok but cant beat Scania of course...look at the sales numbers world wide. The Swedes are number 1 in Heavy equippment tech. , Volvo bought White and Mack, Mercedes bought Freightliner ..otherwise these brands would be long gone.
Pietro Jenkins shut off you don't know the history of this country, criticize with facts you idiot, and for your information that road is under construction that is why you see all this try to grow up mentally
@@iviejustified8109 will need to do that on our next visit to Tanzania... you're so right! BTW we love Tanzania, especially the wildlife (oh and of course the people too ;) )
Jackson Mboya so true Magufuli is making this country a paradise so many infrastructure projects are taking place especially SGR is a great achievement
it is crazy to see all they money in trucks and yet not a nice road for miles hope africa can get sum help by people who care and dont just want them for there rocks and stuff

This is typical driving behavior throughout the world... ME FIRST, and soon as possible. Everyone crawled down the hill knowing full well not everyone ( including them selves ) could not make it up with out getting up some speed, so of course most people got stuck staring from a stop at the bottom. GOD FORBID some one stop at the top of the hill and not wait 10 seconds to make sure the guy in front got up before starting off. And if some one did you can bet your ass people would just pass them and tail gate the guy in front till they were both stuck.... and so on and so on.
We drove this same stretch in the opposite direction a few months back. For the most part the road is now finished. Thank goodness!

I love when people shared their videos. Thanks and be carful truck drivers.
That front end loader operator appeared to know exactly what to do when it came to pushing those trucks with just the right connection and pushed with minimal to no damage to the trucks. Excellent Job!
Agreed!
Lisa b I agree, he seems to be a very experienced operator
Pushing the gas trucks seemed riskiest or should I say stupid. One wrong move and that would turn into a fire disaster
Lisa b good you noticed this as most do not know how easy it is for brute force to damege a trucks intricate and relatively delicate transaxle
Wong Ting ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ yes but unlikely
Oh my car is just ahead of yours.........thanks for capturing it
Wao ,iringa Tanzania home
The Tanzanian way. We had that experience in januari 2019 and I like their style of solving that problem.

Trust me, that's not chaos
I love that they all drive 6x2’s
That was a mess. If that happened anywhere else you would have seen 20/30 fist fights. These cats just take it in strideI love it. Thanks for posting

Neat to see all those trucks drive by from another part of the world.
All of them seem to have just Tanzanian plates. Of course a lot of truck manufacturers sell their products all over the globe.

Amazing. in the 21 century. and we see this things.. But congratulations to those brave people. nothing will stop them.

Chains, chains, chains. In Canada is a lot of mud on local roads, but truck drivers using chains.
The place is now fixed tho still the road got so many diversions
+b boy yes, thank you.
at least they have that machine to push those trucks
Video looks nice. When you when out nice video. By the way. What city you guys drive to??
The trucks seem healthy, the road will be finished, some parts of Africa are doing ok. Good for them!
Was a great adventure. Tanzania is a great place. Especially love the wildlife. Africa is a super place to travel and help those saving wildlife.
lovely to see some big cam v8 scania
Scania trucks must be very popular in Tanzania
They are... they used to be called "The Swedish Elephant" down here. They are rugged and have that lasting quality.
They outlast anything. They’ve got lots of power for the hills. Very dependable.
Adnan Kashogi that’s right I have 124’s and R420’s coz is easier to get spare parts
Why dislike this video, thumbs up!! 👍
Tanzania has very shitty roads ,thumbs down.

A lot of Scanias from Sweden in Tanzania ...
I am an African Trucker. They're more reliable of African Roads.
It was a temporary diversion road while the real road was being repaired ... it's ok now

What was done in the USA for High Ways is now being done by the Chinese in Africa. Some of this progress is good and some not.

Tanzania and most English East and Southern African plate numbers are black nd Yellow . White nd black for commercial vehicles.

That seemed like a whole bunch of heavy supply trucks and buses to be on a dirt road. I’ve never seen anything like that.
+John Walsh it was a by pass road. The main hiway is no complete.
John Walsh becos of no railway or airports...most people use buses or private cars to get to dar es salaam...
John Walsh the road is under construction you have to note that first
@Hi John how are you doing
55 seconds in, Max and Paddy!
The level of crazy in some countries is impressive.
Makes life exciting doesn’t it?
Semi trucks have it worse, because their drive axle isn't at the back, like the coaches.
Flash Herbert if you lift the third axle then it would be to maximise traction, but no one thinks of that!
This is typical driving behavior throughout the world... ME FIRST, and soon as possible. Driving is so different in Africa... however, it all works.... as it does in most countries.
While the roads may be different, human nature is always the same
