- Scott McKenzie, a history professor, becomes involved with two time travellers from the year 2586 after making a discovery in an old photograph. One of the time travellers is determined to change the course of history, the other to stop him. Scott's fascination with the Old West comes in handy when they all return to 1886.

My Grandad loved this film. Brings back memories
I just love this movie! I'm a sci fi fan, not really a western fan, but it is a true classic. I miss our fine actors no longer being around. At least we have time travel to thank for that!
For a movie from the 80's this has a good pace. Klaus Kinski is in it, that alone means it's worthwhile watching. Good audio and video quality. Thanks for uploading!
I loved this movie from the first time I saw it in 1990. It has been one of my favorites through the years. I had to watch it again when I saw it here. You just got a new sub. Thanks for the memories.
Thanks for uploading this. It's one of those distant memories from the 80's that I thought I maybe just imagined.
The best kind of memories.
OMG! I saw this movie when I was little. Thanks for posting it!
My dear Tina85ok- Thank you for posting this movie. It's viewer friendly, like "The Time Machine" with Rod Taylor and Yvette Mimieux. -Hank, on a borrowed site.
Thanks, I like this movie. Devane was convincing as the father, the history professor, and finally, the old west hero with a good explanation for his expert gun play and absence of fear. Neat heroine, scary bad guy, heart warming ending - what more could you ask?
A really enjoyable romp into time travel and detective work. It must be one of Klaus Kinski's last films as I think he died in 1991 or thereabouts. A very prolific actor.
This was a good clean family movie! No profanity , negative racist language or under tones degrading anyone. Just clean fun! Wish they would do more of them. Thank you for uploading this movie. Boy, what a change in movies since this era the movie was made. Now all they do is filthy language (cursing) , naked people, and outrageous sex scenes, with everyone in bed. What has happened to our society? The generation after this one will think we all were a bunch of sex freaks and couldn't keep our hangs to ourselves! Something's have got to change! Thank you again for your time in uploading this movie. It is indeed a classic film!
I enjoyed this and I would watch it again, thanks Tina for the upload
I never saw this before, I thought it was a wonderfully done great movie!
thank you SO much for posting this movie. I love it. Couldn't find it anywhere except on VHS ! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yea I love time travel movies too, I think I've watched all of them on youtube at least twice.....I too wish they would make more of them
I writing one, now.
Time Travel are cool, although I don't believe that Time Travel is possible.
I was most amused by that shoot-out in lab. No guards could follow/hear the direction of the shots!
There were a few other silly bits, but, overall, a pleasant watch.
thank you for sharing Brenda have you seen Sherlock Holmes 1978.?
check out Penitent with Lance Henrikson, good time travel movie
Excellent! Thank you so much for sharing
A Blessed Day to all y'all
what an excellent find on youtube, loved watching this film, im not a western fan but this was fantastic....might even watch it again some time.....loved it
Great movie! I remember watching this in 1987 when I was a kid.
Klaus Kinski what a particular actor...and Natasha too 🥰🙏🏻🙇🏻♂️
Enjoyable film. Not seen this for many years. I only remembered bits of it. Good to catch up with it.
I have been looking for this film for a while.Had forgotten the title in the last 24 years.I found it after midnight when I was about to turn comp off and ended up until 215am watching. Thank you so much for uploading it.
mytime103 - lol! I'm up at 1:00am watching this.
Love it again and again! Thank you! Clean cut and decent! And, still with some sci fi thrown in!
I think it's a beautiful fantasy to dream of going back and saving loved ones from tragic events
Love the movie, combining sci-fi and the Wild West and William Devane with Lauren Hutton and Klaus Kinski. What a cast 😅
Awesome movie....I like this one very much...this one makes more sense than some of those I have been watching......thank you so much for showing it....HIGH 5
WOW I've never saw this great, fantasist movie about Time travelers
Thanks for the upload Tina
Ed

Tina85ok, Thanks for uploading such a great old movie. 2 thumbs up.

Very good. I love time travel films.
another fabulous film from the 80's

Loved even 1 year later lol . Enjoy people because if you like time travel I think most will enjoy this one . :):):)
Thanks for puting this up I remember seeing it on tv years ago but I can never remember what it is called. I'm going to enjoy this....
Thank's for down loading this film. It filled a boring Saturday nights T.V. for me. Thoroughly enjoyed it, I'm sure Iv'e seen it before, It seemed so familiar. Well that's time travel for you.
Uploading, downloading, It's all time travel to me.
lol...
I think Ive also seen it . Parts seemed very familiar.
Great movie. Plot 5* Music 5* Characters 5* Kinski puts soul into his role.
This is definitely the best movie I ever watched that was named Timestalkers.
This movie has Klaus Kinski playing in it. He was a really really difficult actor to work with. Because he truly was a madman. The only director who could repeatedly work with him was Werner Herzog. Because he was also insane. Other directors vowed never to work with Kinsky again after only one production.
Which one was Klaus ?
Thank you for this info..
ACTORS are DEFENITLY....psycho-charatectial 🤭
nice and simple movie.
Unfortunately, unlike in this movie, we cannot change the past. We can only get lessons from it and change to become better people.
I always liked this movie and William Devane. I like him in Early Edition as Gary's father as well.
Great movie thank you for uploading
Thank you for posting
One of my all time favorite movies
Watch this over 20 years ago still how I remembered it lol
Wiliam Devane and Lauren Hutton?? Wow!! I am soooooo adding this to my movie collection.
Klaus Kinski was great in this as he is in most. What a character in life he was. This was made while Warner Herzog, his childhood-lifelong friend, was in custody for making several attempts on Kinski's life!
Herzog? The guy who made the weird ending of a movie with the dancing chicken?
Pretty cool movie. Thanks for the upload.
NOT the ending I expected....😉Good watch...
Enjoyed the movie. Thanks.
Hutton looks great in that cavalry jacket.
I would love to see this updated. What happens to the timeline 31 years later? Seeing Danny Pintauro again with a story about his future would be a fascinating spin on the McKenzie story. William Devane could still be part and parcel of this movie. Just think of a father-son dynamic and Lauren Hutton returning to save Scott's son.
I enjoyed this trip back In time. I believe all us have some sort of dream of being a hero and living a childhood fantacy. challon
An oldie but a goodie!!
I love time travel movies...thanks for posting! :)
Nice predictable end . . . enjoyed thankyou.
Good movie,, thank you..
+Strangely Familiar greetings and thank you for the movie(s)
Thanks for a great share.
Life is funny as they say at times people see the future in dreams is time travel or someone coming back and whispering in their
eare as they sleep good movie thanks for posting
The Panther Lima was nice , good car in it's day , aye !
Well, this film premiered on CBS on March 10th, 1987...and I had thought so, but this was Forrest Tuckers goodbye movie...he died from cancer before the movie was shown. Best remembered from the TV series, "F-Troop", he really did have a great feeling as the old Wild West collector...I agree with most of the commentary regarding various qualities of/for this film. But I still enjoy watching it and have it as one of 5 movies on my TH-cam account that keep me coming back. This one I never found on video or on DVD...I had a copy off a movie channel but those never last long! I do tend to support films I like by purchasing them and then returning to watch them in this format-it's kind of fun...
Personally, I keep NetFlix for the kids. As for CBS, I have little nice to say for them. When they canceled my favorite TV show (in more youthful times) in 1984, I canceled them from my watch list-along with the rest of network tv for the next 25 years...I guess everyone has something they truly enjoy being entertained by-Jennifer O'Neill was that person for me ;-)
+GenLeeConcepts Just realized I can give points for accuracy...the "star handled stranger" took 5 shots before he is killed. Then our hero takes both guns and, before he faces off with Cole, he has two remaining shots on those Colt 45s...pretty good ;-)
10 minutes of this movie was more than enough for me.
I loved this movie from the first time I saw it on TV in the eighties. But there are paradoxes in it as has been said below. One other problem is that the 1886 action is supposed to take place in Arizona, but Prof Mckenzie lives in California. Unless the time machine has a function to shift in space as well, that can't happen. Never mind one of my favorite movies, I watch it again and again.
Very clever how the bad guy used the time travel device to get into the enclosure!
i love this movie, very 80s
I've seen this movie some time from now! It's like a terminator without machines...
Thank you! I enjoyed
Thanks so much! Great movie.
Pretty good movie, and very happy ending
I downloaded this Thank you
Don't rember this show. But is was good one, glad I stumbled on it.
I used to be addicted to time travel, but that's all in the past now.
I just love this movie every time it rolls around! Thanks! Clean cut, and we get to see our fine actors that are no longer around again! And, I am not really a western fan!
Don't know about time travel, but time certainly seems to be getting faster the longer I live
Very good film, would't mined that Time Crystal, I would use it rectify all the mistakes I made in the past.
A nice little low budget movie from the 1980s. The stars were once first run actors.
I really love this movie !!!!!!!!!!!! thank youuuuuuuuu
Good post. Thanks.
great film
I want to back to Chicago 1957!!
I like the actor William Devane 😊 ❤
If Guy Ritchie remakes this movie today, it's a hit !
Thank You, Great Movie.Congratulation....!
Yes, this is one of my favorites of "all time""! Maybe it is the actor I miss, or the cap guns, I had as a kid, I could buy them when toy cap guns weren't so serious for my boys as a child. Now, they are, have to be tipped in orange or something. When I think about it, as toy guns, mine had the holster, too! haha. I wasn't going to be out done by the neighborhood kids! Mine were metal, very realistic. I wish I had them! haha . A decent movie for its time!
I live this story and now I know where they got the idea for Back to the Future.
Me too love time travel I wish they were real I would be gone a long time ago
What year would you go
Good one thanks for the upoad
Great movie I enjoyed.:)
wish this was on DVD, I agree with Benjamin Allen, don't critisise it just enjoy it, 10 out of 10
Good film, but is only me that noticed Coles coat changes colour,at 50.45 when he steals the truck it is white, but when he arrives in town at 51.49 it is grey.
Xalant Thank you,
Lauren Hutton One of the most Beautiful Actresses in Hollywood.? Very underated.?
And a damn sexy bunny!
I love time travel stories! I have read books about time travel. I have read physics books and Quantum mechanics and Einstein's theories to try and understand the idea of time travel. I think the first thing a person has to understand is that time does not really exist. This is very hard for people to get their heads around. Time is merely a system to measure events, and to keep them in a certain sequence. The idea of "time" in space is that a person should be able to step into a time loop at any time and visit any point in that time line, backwards or forwards without changing events. The Idea of creating a paradox was explained in several books I read. Apparently there is no such thing, this is purely science fiction. The original time line would go on--but at the point of change a new branch of the time line starts, and it is from this point that then a new set of memories and events now occur. The ONE person who is the subject of that new time line is the person who then experiences all the changes, but has the memories of what the former time line was before all the changes occurred. None of the others affected in the new time line would know anything had changed at all.At this point--people usually start talking about multiple universes, and dimensions, and then I just get lost. It took me about three years to read one physics book because it was so technical. But I love to learn and love to read. I did it for the fun of leaning and exploring. Maybe I am nuts, but I like to think outside the box for relaxation.I did not care about how real the movie could be, or how real the script was or any paradoxes were created. I just enjoyed the seeing these actors and enjoyed the story. I am almost 55 years old. This is my kind of movie. I am NOT into the new kinds of science fiction they have today. I am an old Star Trek fan, and I also liked Star Gate. I enjoy the simple science fiction films from days of old. I don't need complicated space chase scenes, and crazy alien outfits. While I enjoyed Battle Star Galactica the original one, with Loren Greene; even that was sometimes too busy and too flashy. Guess I am a bit old fashioned.I am probably the ONLY person on the planet that did not enjoy Star Wars. I saw the first movie and that was enough. Please don't shoot me. I have a paperback book from the 1950's. It is a time travel story that was written in 1943. I have read this book over and over again. It is by Andre Norton. It is one of my favorite books. My Uncle gave it to me. It was one of his favorites when he was a kid. I never get tired of it. I have had to tape of the cover of the book several times. It is just so old. But I love it. I guess this is why I love time travel stories. Have fun out there all you time travelers!!! :) Thanks for uploading this movie!!!! It is great!!!,
Michelle Reed, Thank you for sharing all of your info, Michelle. I was born in 1962, am now 56 years old, and you have got me reminiscing happily about the old tv shows. I remember, as a young child, eagerly looking forward to watching Land of the Giants, Land of the Lost (my 2 favourites), Lost In Space, and I believe there was another that I can't recall the name of. I was the youngest of 7 children, so I remember growing up watching The Twilight Zone, Art Gallery, and the movie The Birds, with my older siblings. The old sci-fi series were always my favourites though, especially the first two that I mentioned:)
I will never get my head around "space time" but logic tells me that we can never go back in time only forwards which is proven.
I thought I recognized some of that rough terrain...Newhall Ranch. Of course, that was abck in 1986. An entire city has grown up and filled that barron Valley now. It usedto look like a nuclear testing area and now it's a beautiful; city. anyway, the filming was in the surrounding hills, and that ranch was used for many different settings. There's another ranch out there also used for almost a century of filming. If you thought it looked kinda dry and very much a fire hazard, you thought right! ;-)
Wow! Memories
Very good. Seems as though it was a pilot for TV series, it would make a good one. A bit like Saphire and Steel.
I AM EDITING THIS BECAUSE I DONT WANT TO SPOIL IT FOR SOMEONE WHO HASNT WATCH IT YET, BUT ITS A WORTH WHILE MOVIE. SMALL SPOILERS MAY FOLLOW.
WHAT A GREAT ENDING.
I love This movie too.
A man from 600 hundred years from the future knows how to drive a car. He says,”Thanks for the lift.”
At the end he changed his past so none of events previously in the story could have happened! A time paradox... very common in time travel stories.
Will post another comment last week.
He wrote the book that inspired the time paradox in the first place. Without his book there is no device and he wouldn't see that time traveler picture which to write that book about. It can still pan out with the picture, or the device and gun.
Or she could went back to when he had the outburst and have him arrested then and tell herself to use the device to leave the message to set those events in action. Think Bill &Ted. lol Although the main paradox which he was "right on time" for would never have happened and there would be no device, unless she dropped him some clues on purpose.
Never tell an ending ruins for people who read comments first. Trying to find what the movie datails might interest us!
@DrQuadrivium .... I read the post you are going to write... nicely done lol
Thanks for the spoiler alert!😳😂😎✌👍
