@@vlr78 exato amigo....existem 2 filmes brasileiros q gosto mt porém nem aqui teve o reconhecimento merecido....Guerra de Canudos de 1996 q é uma vdd obra de arte q embora regional é de fácil entendimento...e "O que é isso companheiro ?" q aborda um tema político porém é bastante interessante....ñ sei se são pra gringos verem....A vdd é q fazemos excelentes filmes tb.

@@vlr78 Tem um pequeno problema aí. Uma das características mais importantes (e um dos motivos de o filme funcionar tão bem) de O Auto da Compadecida é o humor. Suassuna, influenciado pela literatura de cordel, era um mestre em passar mensagens sérias por meio de histórias engraçadas. Já viu o filme legendado? Eu já, e te garanto, 80% das piadas se perdem na tradução. Pode ser legal pra ver o contexto da época e apresentar a cultura brasileira, mas é difícil eles acharem o filme tão engraçado como nós achamos.
Esse é difícil demais pra eles entenderem, diálogos extremamente coloquiais, difícil de traduzir na legenda

Esse filme fez bastante sucesso na época em que lançou, como não é um filme de ação não chama muita atenção mas curti o react dos caras esse vídeo merecia mais views.
This movie is a classic, I guess one of the most popular genres of movies in Brazil are biopics of famous singers, there’s also one about Tim Maia, Legião Urbana, Luiz Gonzaga… all pretty good.

Friend, you did very well in reacting to a Brazilian film. And you did very well in choosing a great Brazilian film. And you did even better by choosing a film that almost no one reacts to. Many TH-camrs are reacting to the traditional Auto da Compadecida, Tropa de Elite, Cidade de Deus...
So, for you to watch a great film and have fun, and still get a lot of views (as you know that Brazil is a country with a huge population, with great engagement on the internet and that loves to see foreigners talking about things here), then I will suggest the film "Bingo, O Rei Das Manhas". It's a film in the same style as Os Filhos de Francisco, showing what's behind the success, in this case, telling the story of an actor who played the clown Bozo on Brazil's second largest TV channel in the 80s. which probably no one has reacted to yet.
