The Huot is a beast if you use it like an assault rifle, don't try to compete with the assault class in face to face close range and keep a bit of distance with the enemy and you will outgun pretty much everyone simply on the fact that bullets go where you are aiming at

This thing would be incredibly Op with a suppressive scope because of the no recoil so the only limitation would be bullet drop, im pretty sure they nerfed the Benet for that reason it sucks now

They should really buff the damage on this gun.
Duck_Vader All of the support guns need major buffs it's like shooting BB's at this point.
26max/18min for the lower damaging lmgs and 30max/20min for the higher damaging lmgs would be really ok imo, it would be a 4/6 shot kill instead of a 5/7 which is ridiculous.
Bruno Naletto Yeah but we don't want them OP. The BARs damage model on all the lmgs would be great. 5 shots up to 35 meters I think, then 6 after that. No seventh round
Mark Richardson The BAR with its rate of fire could swing that damage model but other LMGs don't fire fast enough for it to make much difference. 4 rounds from 25-30 meters to 6 at 75 meters plus would allow the LMGs to be the suppressors that they should be at long range but at short to mid range they can actually kill something instead of just nibbling the enemies bum.

I feel bad for mr. Huot. They should've still used it for their army despite the war ending. Could you imagine it in WW2?

@@dl30wpb In my opinion, I don't think it should have been the level 10 unlock for Support because the Browning Automatic Rifle Model 1918 A1 (or at least I think it's the A1) actually saw some combat during the later part of the war, especially during the Muese-Argonne Offensive and I think even the Battle of the Marne!

I don't think you understand. "Passive-aggressive" doesn't mean what he thinks it does, and I'm making a joke about it.
What makes this gun stand out to me is its exceptional accuracy, which is even greater when you use the bipod. It doesn't kill as fast as the BAR does making it not as aggressive, but used defensively in mid-long range I've found it to very dependably hit my opponents.

Ruthless? I unlocked this weapon about 3 days ago and it's terrible. I'm deeply disappointed in it.
Beast Mode [ON]OFF the shtick with the Huot is you have to be ACCURATE, like headshot king accurate. Just like the Auto 8.35. I do think it should have either better damage per bullet or a parabolic damage model like the bolt actions (because it is a converted straightpull after all)
Historical accuracy does not always equate to good or fun game design. This is a great example.
Can we just appreciate of what was going through Joseph Hout's mind when he thought about the placement of the iron sights? Any takers, SMG fans, WW1 historians, gangsters, anyone? No?
Due to the patch, this gun is an absolute beast. I hated it when I first unlocked it pre-patch due to the mediocre damage it did. But now it's my favorite Support gun, it's quite sexy with the Gold camo as well.
I think the huot's accuracy makes it an incredibly versatile weapon. Still, I do believe that it should have moving ADS accuracy on par with the BAR and Madsen, seing as it is an inferior Lewis gun in most ways, save for spread and accuracy ( which are not minor things).
I have almost 5000kills with this gun and I have found it to be dependable in most situations and I agree 100% with the review. Well done as usual :]
Yeah I agree the while moving accuracy should be better considering what this gun is trying to be. Would be a change that isnt TOO major but I think would help the viability of the gun
for what it's worth, the iron sights are wayyyy better on the huot than the lewis (if both are low weight variants)

I've been using this gun a lot lately. I was initially disappointed by it but the changes to it have helped lots, also, I was just flat out using it incorrectly before. Amazing accuracy at range on this gun.
they should have made the hellriegel the lvl 10 support gun. how do almost all the lmg have max 36 rounds yet the assault weapon gets 60
merameshi hellriegel is useless outside of 20 meters.

i grinded for the Huot and was disappointed, but i still have my MG15 Storm so it's all good, thank you kris for a more in depth vid on the weapon.

Madsen Storm and the Mg15 storm are the best for supports, the rest is either crap or really specific. The supressive variants are absurd with that fucking scope, it would be better if it packed a sight instead of a scope.

I actually like this gun. Overall, it's a Lewis Gun with a smaller magazine and better recoil.
In my opinion, the Huot Automatic Low Weight has practically no recoil and does not have as much barrel flash as the Lewis Gun or any other support weapon really!

This is a very good LMG. I used Bar Storm before with 20 service medals until i tried this one. This weapon almost has no recoil at all.

Not being a native English speaker, I managed to understand you perfectly as you don't speak too fast for me, I appreciated it as well. Support is crap. My first class to rank 10. Then after playing all the other classes, that's when I realize support is severely lacking.
Support class has been buffed bruv. Might even continue to be buffed.
I actually do the best with support. You can resupply yourself. Mg 15 is dope. I get rapid kills with that thing. Granted it sucks to kill tanks, but so does medic. In fact i think the medic class is the worse.

It's not the worst, just the hardest. Other than that, support is the slowest killing class. Unless you use the BAR, which at most you'll be getting only 2 kills
Candi Soda I get rapid kills with the MG 15. You get like 200 rounds. I can kill up to 10 people before reloading.thats the only gun where I have gotten rewards for raid kills.

I don't doubt you, but that's just a specific scenario you were in. Statistically, support is the least played class, because they're underpowered.
I use it quite a bit and I feel it could do with a reload speed buff.
This channel deserves a lot more veiws and subscriber's.
In my experience its a laser beam when used with the bipod, kinda like the automatico trench when hip firing

Literally started using this gun last night after a losing streak, this is now my support gun of choice, cannot got toe to toe with assault classes but this gun a real danger when It comes to out ranging assault weapons, its even a danger to scouts using iron sights

I see dice made its skill cannons with a limiting factor this time, the weapons woth really low mag counts tend to be better, case of the 10 bullet Mondragon, and the 5 bullet Autoloading 8, the Huot is no exception

Replacing all the Ross Rifles with these would've been great, since in any sort of combat use the Ross is a fancy club
So it is a Skill Cannon for the Lmgs, like the M60e4 for bf4, except this has a smaller mag, and a shorter reload
I really love the feel of this gun and the way it looks amd handles but its a pea shooter with 26 bullets.
They either need to buff up the damage or give it some more ammo otherwise its just better to use the bar or MG
It's kind of strange that they included this weapon. Only four are known to have been made, all of which now reside in museums. A fifth may have existed, as there seems to be no gun with serial # 3 (the serial numbers on the known guns are 1, 2, 4, and 5), but no records of such a rifle have been found, and if it was made, no one knows what happened to it.
its sight's stability reminds me of "Scar Light", diferent era ik but still videogames...

I wanted to make the 300 kills with this to unlock the optical variant. Just for the sake of "completionism".
I was prepared for lots of rage quits and frustration, because I had heard lots of criticism about this gun. But it suited me perfectly. The gun is laser accurate with 1.00x zoom, light to use, it's rpm is enough for little spray (unlike Perino or Chauchat), it's accurate standing, walking and prone. It just hits your enemy with precision and suppresses them easily.
The ammo capacity is a challenge, but due to the next to zero recoil and decent muzzle velocity, I found out I missed very little shots on infantry targets. I was mowing enemy down with ease first time using this gun. I also lmg-sniped lots of snipers far away with this gun.
It's accurate, it hits and shreds and easy to use. Much better for me than revered parabellum which kicks like hot shit and other lmgs which rpm screws CQC situations totally (got lots of videos of me shooting a guy to a chest multiple times and the game didn't register any hits).
The name of this gun sounds like the noise one makes when swallowing snot.

Idk why people got disappointed for this gun, I once got it from a dead body and it rocks! It has laser beam accuracy and very good damage, of course, if you keep your distance, since this gun it’s not for aggressive play style

the BAR is pretty much the best weapon in the support kit. otherwise could also stick to the mg15
Bar is OK, but the 20mag is ridiculous for a 5 shot gun, it means that if you're REALLY precise you could down 4 enemies with 5 shot each, but let's face it, with 20 bullets you will be dropping one or two max.
I found solace in the Madsen Storm (31 bullets, 540rpm and good reload time) and the MG 15 n.A (100 bullets, 500rpm and slow reload time, but hey, with a 100 bullet belt, who needs to reload anyway? Chances are you will be dead before having to reload it).
BAR isn't the "best" in support. It's best if you're playing an assault style. The MG Suppressive is the end game support, only catch is learning how to use it...not a beginner gun.

What makes the support class irrelevant is that the LMG's have the same damage or similar damage model as the assault class's SMG's, which makes no fucking sense since the LMG's a chambered in rifle caliber rounds and the SMG's are chambered in a handgun caliber round. The max damage of the LMG's should be 35 and a minimum of 25 for the small magazine LMG's and 33 max and 26 minimum for the bigger belt fed LMG's.

What's the difference between accuracy and control
+Induced Rhino438 Accuracy heavily depends on the horizontal recoil of the gun whilst it's shooting, whereas control/stability depends a lot of vertical recoil. So in simpler terms, if the gun jolts from side to side a lot, it's gonna be less accurate, and if it kicks upwards a lot, it'll be harder to control.

I wish they would make an extended variant for this gun. The BAR and this gun both don't even feel like LMGs, but at least the BAR has great damage. The huot has nothing going for it besides accuracy.

if they have shitty aim then they should use the BAR. fire rate will make up for it. or the MG15. otherwise if they use the huot theyll just be left with a slow firing lewis gun with less rounds to shoot or a benet mercie with less damage
