PATCHED 07/18: Added ability to toggle fire mode on Experimental version and swap bolts to utilize the Bolt-action fire mode and .30-06 rifle cartridges.
I actually went back to bf hardline for a couple of days so I cook use the m1903 with iron sights, it's just Bullshit that a game based in ww1 can't add the varient with just iron sights. like it was the standard issue rifle for the American forces but we still can't have it in the game.
They need to come out with an infantry version of this and move the Pederson device as a gadget option or in lieu of having a pistol. After all, K-bullets were a German only bullet yet it is universal across all scout weapons, why not this?
slay Very very rare? I'd give that honor to the Hellriegel (Austria-Hungarian only) or Cei-Rigotti, only a few prototypes were ever made yet there in the game for all to use. Yet over 65,000 Pedersen devices were made, not so rare.
Chris M because if you tried to put a pederson device into a lee enfield it would require you to completely dismantle the gun develop a new version of the pederson device that would fit in it and reassemble the entire gun
Love how versatile the experimental version is. You can take out the Pederson Device and replace it with a standard bolt for longer range engagements. And the better part is you dont need K Bullets anymore to pull it off.
Someone forgot to mention the alt fire of the Experimental version of this gun turning it back into a sniper as well as turning it into a semi auto again.
love the experimental version. i accidentally discovered it in the passchendale map, where it was almost impossible to use bolt action guns and i was dropping enemies right and left
The best sniper rifle, with a variant that converts it to a semi-auto DMR. Btw the Marksman variant is historically correct, it's the Warner and Swasey scope used IRL
I think it's a real shame that they have put one of Americas most famous rifles in a ww1 game without putting an infantry version in e.g a plain rifle with just iron sights also I think there is no excuse as it features in hardline. They could have left the experimental in but had infantry, sniper and experimental. I hope this gets patched or added to the game before the next battlefield comes out. Also I hope they add the USA main rifle in the Enfield 1917
Hey, I don't know if you still play BF1, but I wanted to ask. Since the Experimental version of this weapon was released to switch out the Pederson device to the bolt action mode, I was wonder what your general thinking and strat would go into this gun now. Thanks!
The bullet velocity is faster with the gewehr98, but m1903 has a lower bullet dtop which means that the bullets have a higher speed at extreme distances than the gewehr98
stodeh TV. Hes epic at sniping but i have to give you a few tips: 1.) Dont lead your shots as much. If they are sort of close to you just try and aim for their chest if you can or head but dont lead your shot 10000000 miles in front of him because it will miss. 2.) Also try out the marksmen varients because they will be alot easier for beginners (well thats what ive found) then once youve gotten a bit better then move up to the longer range scopes/sniper varients of the rifles. eventually youll get the hang of it but just remember to stay calm when youve got a clean shot
For me using the marksman variant feels like a sin due to the 1903 having that low drag projectile for extreme ranges making using it at shorter distances kind of useless. In that case it's probably better to use something like the Gewehr 98. I'm not complaining but since it hits harder has a farther out sweet spot range and low drag round using it for medium ranges makes me cringe. Idfk why but it does I've been thinking about using the marksman instead of the sniper variant regardless though. Plus it's accurate to the actual sniper variant that was used.
Sir Kukalot I think is because the m1903 sweet spot, it's the longest in the game, at around 100-150m, having an infantry variant would mean it needs a shorter sweet spot for use
i really love the video quality you have got there! i think you have got the potential in growing your channel way more than what you have right now! , i can really help you out by giving you a shoutout! on my channel it would gain you a few hundred active subs, which i think will help you out a lot. all you need to do is check out the rules of my shoutout series and enter the series and i would really love to help you grow your channel. KEEP DOING YOUR BEST!
PATCHED 01/2018: (Experimental) Max damage - 34.7 up to 11 meters, Min damage - 15 at 33 meters [3-7 bullets to kill], Vertical recoil - 0.28
PATCHED 07/18: Added ability to toggle fire mode on Experimental version and swap bolts to utilize the Bolt-action fire mode and .30-06 rifle cartridges.
@@PYRESATVARANASI An universal gun
What the bolt action fire mode zeroed at?
My question is why isnt there a normal iron sight version
slay It would be sorta wasted, the sweet spot is 100 meters after all.
slay i think there should be some sort of trench version: short range sweet spot, iron sights, and better hip fire
slay You could use K bullets on experimental version
The Brownie On A Plate Gaming no? You cant
PulsarPyro You can I have done it before
I really want a infantry version of the M1903 or a M1917 Enfield.
Makoto yeh i know there was one in the campain
Makoto Well, we got one!
It’s already in the game, hit the alternate fire button
Use the experimental version and switch the fire mode
` oh yeah forgot
The only reason why I like the m1903 is because the cycling animation looks so damn gorgeous.
It's BS that not all of these rifles have a infantry variant.
Tichondrius1 it’s gonna be useless either way... the sweet spot is really far
Surprise! The m1903 experimental can now convert to bolt-action (They also use different ammo pools too) so it's actually pretty universal!
@@lingxingching6549 how
@@RandomHandleLol1738 It should be the same button as changing the fire rate
@@lingxingching6549 That's pretty awesome
It would've been so cool to get a Krag Jorgensen rifle in BF1.

Owen
Equip the K Bullets on the Experimental. That kinda works. But you have a very limited supply of ammo. :D
Owen Actually it was "standard issue" But the M1917 Enfield saw more service
That's how they get people back to bf hardline
Owen you can convert the experimental to the standard infantry variant. Just press down on the d pad (for Xbox)
Owen then use the fucking experimental version and switch it to bolt action dumbass
They need to come out with an infantry version of this and move the Pederson device as a gadget option or in lieu of having a pistol. After all, K-bullets were a German only bullet yet it is universal across all scout weapons, why not this?
Chris M because this was not just an American only weapon but also a very very rare American only weapon.

I bet it'll be in a future expansion
TReNT DoWLeY no it won't look at my previous comment to explain why.
You can change the experimental version into a normal bolt action rilfe
By far my favorite sniper rifle in the game.
the standard issue of this gun is a beast in bf1
Love how versatile the experimental version is. You can take out the Pederson Device and replace it with a standard bolt for longer range engagements. And the better part is you dont need K Bullets anymore to pull it off.
legit the best sniper ever
Someone forgot to mention the alt fire of the Experimental version of this gun turning it back into a sniper as well as turning it into a semi auto again.
Karis AsaNi That's just equipping K-bullets
@@khoado2060 Pretty sure that comment was made before the alt fire was added to allow that
My question is why did they put in the 1903 and not the 1917? Way more soldiers had the 1917 than they did have Springfields
Springfield is well known unlike the m1917 sadly
love the experimental version. i accidentally discovered it in the passchendale map, where it was almost impossible to use bolt action guns and i was dropping enemies right and left
The best sniper rifle, with a variant that converts it to a semi-auto DMR. Btw the Marksman variant is historically correct, it's the Warner and Swasey scope used IRL
For the peoplr who want one without a scope use the experimental version then press the button for alternative fire mode like down d pad i think
Im kind of new to bf1 and i used the m1903 in a custom map thinking that i could use it with other classes until i knew what stand issue rifles meant
I like experimental. Gives you offensive and defensive capabilites.
Do a updated version because the m1903 experimental has a infantry variant
I don't think many people know this but to get the original m1903 you cough to select this weapon 1:53 and then press n I think you will be surprised

gewehr m.95 infantry please!!!
Marksman variant best varian
i like m1903 experimental
i do very well with the sniper variant, easy to get headshots
I personally love the M1903 experimental
The Springfield is the American Mauser. In my opinion, it is one of the best bolt actions.
*Wow They Brong The Classic Sniper Back*
NIGATO XD Brong? Wtf is that
Keeon ひ nigga did you just say bring in nigga-tense
Wish there was an infantry variant... I just use the Experimental w/ K rounds.
Kritikal Kris why do you don't make battlefield weapon guides anymore
hey, what change that V key board button while having a rifle? what is that 75 150 300 meters?

They function like 2 different weapons in game, quite interesting though with it catering to both short and very long ranges
@@KriticalKris Thank you for your insights 🙏
I looked back at this video and I got one question Why did they change the reload animation
I kinda wish you added the stats for the experimental to the top left when it came up. I know you /say/ it.... but seeing it helps!
Christopher Lopez _*say_
Just helping you.
Move over Russian 1895, this is my new favorite sniper.
WHY THE FUDGE CAN’T WE USE THIS AS INFANTRY
so Brits pronounce Category as Catagry. So do they say "That was death was Gry" instead of Gory?
This better than gewehr 98 for long range? Or is the bullet velocity from the 98 just better?
The bullet velocity is faster with the gewehr98, but m1903 has a lower bullet dtop which means that the bullets have a higher speed at extreme distances than the gewehr98
Wow, I need to move to PC where apparently people don't move around like crazy when you're trying to snipe
Wnir This is PS4 footage.

I hate how they force me to use the Pedersen Device .I want to use the M1903 , dude .
The fire rate is actually 54. So not slow at all.
