@LaurenFriedmanRealtor , no worries. I appreciate you responding. I'm still in the early stages of the process to prepare to move. The biggest thing is learning more about the communities in LBC so I can decide where I want rent a property.
We loved Long Beach. Although we live in Cerritos with our young kids, there aren't many families with children in our neighborhood. Most of our neighbors are empty nesters. During the summer, we often visit LBX in the afternoons to hang out with other families who have small children. The kids love playing in the playground there. I also go run at Junipero Beach and sometimes at the light house back of the Aquarium. My office near the airport, close to the AAA building I can walk after lunch because it rarely get too hot. One of the bad area is near my wife's hospital, St. Mary Dignity, isn't very safe. There are a lot of car break ins in the parking structure. Also, try to avoid the area south of Cherry Ave near the 91 freeway.

hi i'm not from the us but i woul love to live there, I was looking a little at Chicago, Illinois and then at Long Beach, California. They are completely different, but since you have lived in both, could you tell me about your living in both and if you liked the move to Long Beach?
