Thank you for such a refreshing approach to making art. The paper you demonstrate on looks smaller than the framed wall showing. When shown on the wall they all look very polished. Love every one of your pieces.
@@marianneoleary7540 thank you so very much for your kind words. Yes, I mostly use an A3 size paper (29,7 cm x 40 cm, 11.7x16 inches). The framed pictures are fir demonstration and encouraging, meaning that you can make art that is worth hanging. Nonetheless, scale is just a detail, meaning that if you can paint it small you will need just about the same to paint it bigger 🤗🤗🤗
I love the style, thank you.i would like to know about why you use the acrylic paper instead, what happens to the watercolour paint? What effect do you want to achieve and why don’t you just use acrylic paint?
@@cristinalattuada5322 thank you for your kind words. The main difference when we use different papers is that each responds differently to the paint. In this case the watercolour stays on the surface of the paper which grants a very interesting effect
Do you hv a place people share their efforts following yr tutorials? You really hv a nice, simple teaching way- with great results. I think you might hv run yr voice on this vid thru AI filter (?) not sure. I love yr accent/hv zero issues w/ translation. Feels more authentic for me, when instructions are 100% you. Just one opinion tho; do whatever pleases you: obviously! ✌🏽👍🏽🎨
Hi Anna. I really don't know what's the bug, but I have answered both your comments and whenever I get back here my reply is vanished. Odd. Anyway, I have plans for next year. I want to make a daily video rather than 6 painting on a single one. That will allow more time to see the process and all. I also plan to have at least one live video a month where we can chat about art creating and also talk about what those like yourself have been doing. Thank you for bein g paert of this community!

As to the voice, I live in Rome and there has been a lot of construction works in the historic centre, where I live. So I have to use a filter to remove the background noise, but unfortunately it caused glitches to this particular one. My apologies.
@ No worries. I thought what background noise did get in-sounded like a lot more fun, than my dead neighborhood! But I feel for you; constant construction noise is tough to deal with! Thx! ✌🏽💪🏽🫶🏽
To this particular exercise I am using a paper designed for acrylic painting. Id does not absorb The watercolour which grants a very interesting effect 🤗
Thank you so much for your honest feedback-it’s truly appreciated! Guess what? We used watercolor for this piece, and it worked beautifully! The goal of these exercises is to encourage anyone who wants to create art but might feel intimidated or held back for any reason. That’s why we focus on keeping things as simple and approachable as possible, while still aiming to create something that feels minimally inspiring. Watercolor has become our go-to medium because it’s so versatile and easy to manage. It’s rich in texture, clean to use, and requires nothing more than water for mixing and cleanup. Our philosophy is simple: we’ll never discourage anyone by saying they can’t use a particular medium or technique. Instead, we’ll always say: just make art, in whatever way works for you. Thank you again for being part of this community!
@ that’s all lovely, but watercolor needs very little paint and lots of water to open it up and show it’s transparency! That’s the beauty of watercolor! Why not use it properly on watercolor paper and show what it can really do? As I said before, you may as well use acrylic if you’re going use it this way….it also can be cleaned up with water before it dries. I don’t get how using watercolor improperly is doing anyone any favours 🤷🏻♀️. Peace. Out.
Antonio, your artwork inspires me so much. thank you
I am the one to thank YOU for your kind words! Thank you loads!
What a great exercise for practice, but also a frame worthy composition!!!

That isn’t the correct way to use watercolor. If you want to use paint like this you may as well use acrylic paint.
there is no correct way
@ I beg to differ. Using watercolor neat, or with very little water is not how you use it.
