A brilliant piece of music like this has a soul. A soul of bottomless depth born in the human spirit of timeless genius. When in the acts of men such rare things occur, it is translated by the language of eternity to all who hear it. Many talented persons thereafter cannot resist to plumb its depths. There is only one class of human that might have the single-minded obsession to pursue such a thing to its most excellent expression and only a single human invention to date that can make it possible for this single person to do so in the absence of a concert orchestra. The savant and a banyan.

Excellent technic but his fabulous musical interpretation and dynamics take it to the next level. So often top musicians are technicians but their performance lacks soul. As a professional accordionist I can appreciate this level of achievement. Bravo from the US. I play converter B system free bass piano accordion. Have always wished I had learned Bayan too.

Mr. Dmitriev, in addition to being one FINE musician, has got an amazing left hand!! I love the little personal flourishes he has added. It is a pity that in the US, we have not encouraged this sort of instrument.

@@Alyric-now I actually wasn't joking. The more buttons on the accordion the easier it is to play. The "wow so many buttons, must be so hard" is the most common comment and it's so absurdly wrong. I understand where it comes from, however musicians aren't thinking about the buttons they're not playing. More buttons just means more opportunity, and NEVER means more difficulty. Limits will make it more difficult. Hope that makes sense.
