I feel like what made Jamie and Zoe really stand out from other 1960s companions is that they weren't always trying to get home again like Ian and Barbara or Ben and Polly or there because they didn't have anywhere else to go like Vicky or Victoria but they stood out as travelling with the Doctor out of a genuine desire for adventure and a love of travelling in the Tardis.

Patrick Troughton is one of my favourite Doctors. My Mum watched his original run between 1966-1969. She was a bit too young to have watched the Hartnell years. She always said that Troughton and Tom Baker were her favourites. She introduced me to the few reruns of what remained of the Troughton era in the early 1990s. I think "The Mind Robber" was the first one I ever saw. I remember finding the Clockwork Soldiers really creepy!

This is a much better end for Zoe than the audios gave her. I suppose you can say this happens after her experiences with Second Chances, but this does sort of trample on her getting her memories back on her own, at least some of them, after people tried to pry them out of her. Needs to be canon. In the fine tradition of DW eventually undoing all its hardest moments. This one really long coming

This one made me stop and reflect; November 1963 I discovered Dr Who and was captivated by it. November 1964 I met a beautiful young woman that still has me captivated. Sixty years just a blink! I heard the good Doctor once say " be serious about what you do, but not necessarily in the way you do it" It's worked for me sofar........

Someone said about 20 years ago that there's a portrait hidden away somewhere of Wendy Padbury looking old, and I think watching this that statement is still 100% valid. She must have great genes.

My romantic heart broke when Jamie remembered Victoria. I read a fanfiction that had Jamie and Victoria meet up again in some time travel shenanigans and I wish this was canon.

Heather McCrimmon was a comic companion who traveled with the 10th Doctor and carried Jamie's inherited Artron radiation from the TARDIS in her DNA. A few audios, short stories and those comics have depicted or mentioned some more of his ancestors and descendants from his five daughters and at least three sons (more children than there are days in the week).
Victoria lived out the rest of her life from the 1960s, so her grandchildren would actually be present-day.

I first saw Jamie and Zoe on vhs in the late '80's when i was about 10 to 12 years old. Loved Jamie and had a crush on Zoe, all these years later they both look healthy and rather marvellous.

Living in 'The States', didn't afford me to watch all the Who's.. Yet I spent any chance I could, to watch.. Seeing the aged, ol gang, made me realize just how old that I've become.. Those and these days still leave my yearning for the sound of the most iconic sound.. The Tardis ! I would love to see this pan out.. Could You..!..? With love and Thanks, nite all..

I would love to see Jamie meet up with 15 so bad. 15 even wears a kilt too when he was clubbing in The Church on Ruby Road. Hell, Jamie meeting up with 7 and 12 too would be great!
