@@professorhaystacks6606 Okay I left this as a seperate comment, but like, what's going on here in relation to 6's Big Finish timeline? Does this essentially de-canonize 6's audio stories? Also, how is the Doctor older here? Like, unlike old 5, they seem to be implying that 6 actually _GOT OLDER_ before regenerating into 7 (which we know is impossible from what's onscreen). Could it be this isn't actually 6, but is actually the 2nd Curator (since Tom Baker's Curator regenerates into an old Colin Baker in Big Finish canon)?
@@MrMarsFargo have not heard the big finish curator story. Maybe? As for Peri, wasn't her timeline split or something in her last story? I just wish he had worn the coat. Love it or hate it, that coat is an iconic part of the Sixth Doctor. It would be like bringing Four back without the scarf or Eleven back without the bowtie. It was also weird seeing Six and Peri getting along without arguing.
I hope Colin still has another decade or more left in him. He looks old and fat but has managed to retain a passionate and energetic screen presence despite his age. And Peri mentioning her wish to visit her late husband's tomb every year was a nice nod to a short film made a few years ago that promoted the 6th Doctor's era.
That's adorable! And Peri still speaks great "American". I had pretty much drifted away from the series and only caught a few episodes, but that was more the writing than the actors. Good to see Colin back in the last few years.
I'm so happy with this as it really shows Colin's and Nicola deep relationship and friendship......... Such warm people both as characters and in real life. 8-)
Nicola Bryant has no right to be so lovely 40 years on, but oh, is she ever! Her natural British accent creeps in a little at times, and that's OK. And Colin Baker is probably the most misunderstood Doctor; caught up in BBC politics and controversy and hurt by his being let go. He deserved better and is getting his chances now in the modern Who. Hopefully, all the "Tales" will be eventually packaged and released outside the UK. I'd like a copy.
Adorable box-set reference. The sort of thing you don't HAVE to do with Doctor Who and it's notoriously soft canon... But which is such a lovely touch when you do.

I’m currently watching his run as The Doctor for the first time! And honestly, I’m glad I never listened to the people who said he wasn’t very good! Also, I LOVE his rainbow coat! I’m just so happy Big Finish gave Colin a chance to REALLY be The Doctor!!
After Trial of a Time Lord, it left me feeling really bad what happened to Peri. I know it was out of the Doctor's control, but really felt Peri was abandoned. Yes, I know all about the behind the scenes crap with JNT. But still, I love how this leaves Peri and 6 in a better place.
I wish they'd brought back Michael Jayston. The moment where the Valeyard gaslit the Doctor about abandoning Peri was vile. Excellent villain but, just like a lot of things in Colin Baker's era, his potential was wasted. They should have brought him back in Peter Capaldi's era. The start of a new regeneration cycle was the perfect time for the Valeyard to show up.

I just wish he had worn the coat. Love it or hate it, that coat is an iconic part of the Sixth Doctor. It would be like bringing Four back without the scarf or Eleven back without the bowtie.
It was also weird seeing Six and Peri getting along without arguing.
I dunno, with that outfit, coat would have clashed. Maybe if they moved the coat rack with the coat closer ..
My theory is that this is actually the Curator tbh.
So great to see both Colin and Nicola again, they were 2 of my favorites from that time. These videos have been fantastic, thank you for posting them!
I was thrilled to find these! I love in the US, so would have to jump through hoops to see them otherwise. Thank you so much for posting them! ❤❤
Must admit it takes me back to my childhood so awesome seeing the people you grew up watching together again completely awesome
omg its pery i loved her. im glad shes back this is greatttt
Damn Peri aged well
6th Doctor who played by Colin baker and his assistant Peri.. Oh the amazing golden old memories.. Timeless...
Considering she's was last on doctor who in the 80's Nicola Byrant looks stunning here.
In her early 60's, but no that doesn't need to be taken into consideration.
I really loved this one. Six wasn't a favourite of mine TV wise but I have quite a few of his Big Finish audios, they're absolutely wonderful ❤
Big finish made adore these two, and it's so nice to see them together again ❤
I hope Colin still has another decade or more left in him. He looks old and fat but has managed to retain a passionate and energetic screen presence despite his age. And Peri mentioning her wish to visit her late husband's tomb every year was a nice nod to a short film made a few years ago that promoted the 6th Doctor's era.
he's is a kind soul in real life
That's adorable!
Really like this. Also, I now want Colin Baker to play John Hammond in a Jurassic Park universe film.
Neat idea, but I think for a remake Michael Kane would be perfect for John Hammond.
Best Colin and Nicola scene ever. Truly poignant.
I just can't believe I'm seeing them again as their characters! What a wonderful treat for us... and I'm sure for them as well. FANTASTIC!
Peri…was a Dr. Who…babe😲🥰…that I fancied very much😘…she aged very wel👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 She is …still a beautiful woman to this day 😊😉
She is still gorgeous.
ZOMG, what a beauty she still is. She was always a good actress, too :) Probably my favorite companion, after Leela and Romana II
whatever they exclude the rest of the world from please keep posting! Thanks!
I think I met 4 of the original doctors. Colin was one. Also a bunch of companions and one villain. Ahhh nostalgia.
Nicola is still stunning to see. The last I saw them both... Star Trek Continues!!
The Baker boys were always my favourites but thank you Big Finish for the redemption arcs for Six, Peri and Mel.
I'm glad they gave Six a new outfit 👍
Should have been his blue coat
Its because Colin can't fit into the original costume.
@@dtuk22 tailors are a thing.
Aha! So this ties into the short they did some time ago! I was hoping for that, but I wasn't expecting it! Lovely continuity!
Adorable box-set reference. The sort of thing you don't HAVE to do with Doctor Who and it's notoriously soft canon... But which is such a lovely touch when you do.
As a classic fan, all of these are brilliant. Tying up loose ends, cleaning up messes, creating incredible tributes to beloved characters. Who's verklempt? It's not me, It's you.
I’m currently watching his run as The Doctor for the first time! And honestly, I’m glad I never listened to the people who said he wasn’t very good! Also, I LOVE his rainbow coat! I’m just so happy Big Finish gave Colin a chance to REALLY be The Doctor!!
Thanks for posting these. Not being in the UK meant I would have missed these. I would actually love to see this as an Anniversary tradition.
6:59 is the big middle finger to Michael Grade. The Sixth Doctor lives!
Perry aged so well.
Peri would've been a great companion to bring back for the battle of the Medusa Cascade.
Lovely scene by two fine actors.
Ive seen some classic who and i think these two are so underrated. I find the sixth doctor to be very charming and who doesn't love peri.
Thank you for sharing these!! In the US, we can’t see then
After Trial of a Time Lord, it left me feeling really bad what happened to Peri.
Colin Baker is probably my favourite person and favourite classic Doctor alongside Sylvester McCoy.
Lovely seeing Colin and Nicola together again.
Peri still beautiful
Bring the 6th back in a full episode!!!
Thank you for uploading these for us to see. 😍😍😍😍
I think I had something in my eye... [sniff]. Wonderful little scene, and two very lovely people in real life.
I was waiting for someone to do this, put them together! Thank you! 🙏💪❤️🥳
I cried when I first saw this.
He’s always been my favorite Doctor.
So touching to see Six and Peri back together.
Ah yes David Attinburrough returns!
Man how good it is to see him as the doctor again he hasn't lost it seriously aside from age it seems like he was ripped from his og era
Thank You from Australia!!! :-)
He is the best Doctor no matter how you write him. BEST BOI
💯💯💯💯❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ you can never replace the classic. Legend, Dr. I should do things like this more often I prefer the classic legendary Doctor Who over the new long way around.
