It’s processed badly - heavy autotune is used here. You can hear the lead sometimes ‘clip’ between notes. Also his pitches are so consistent they might as well be synths.
I know a Capella groups are capable of amazing percussion sounds these days. But this does seems to have actual percussion, plus a layer of organ or strings or something. I'd love to think this is truly all voice. Anyone know?
