For about 4 years now I’ve been struggling with my mental health (suicidal thoughts + really bad social anxiety.) Which put me off from my deen for quite sometime. I started missing prayers which eventually led me to stop praying all together. I even ended up removing my hijab as I didn’t see the point any longer. This video was just what I needed. I haven’t prayed in almost 3 years. I got up after watched this, I made wudhu and prayed Isha. I had tears running down my face the whole time, I felt close to Allah for the first time in years. Sabhanallah, Allah has written for me to watch this. Allah in the Quran compared our hearts to gold. Just like how gold is purified, through intense heat and discomfort our hearts are purified the same way. Allah loves those he tests and it is like a medicine. If you are going through a trail in your life know that allah is with you even if you don't feel like he is. Allah loves the call of a believer and confess your struggles to him. He will guide your heart. Take this opportunity to come back to him and reestablish your faith in him.

This happened to me.. I was loosing faith but yet I made dua. I don't know what it was but a driving force within me just got out of the darkness and started praying again. Alhamduliah never been so low in my life and now that it's been turned around, I can't thank God enough for his help and guidance. I was on the verge of giving up on everything in life.

That's the exact reason why in Islam it is vital to balance between the triangle of Love, fear, and hope (towards God). الخوف، المحبه و الرجاء. subhanAllah many times Allah only tests those He loves, like you said. For every tiny thing that hurts a Muslim, comes a reward instead. The prophet PBUH مَا يُصِيبُ الْمُسْلِمَ مِنْ نَصَبٍ وَلاَ وَصَبٍ وَلاَ هَمٍّ وَلاَ حَزَن وَلاَ أَذًى وَلاَ غمٍّ، حتَّى الشَّوْكَةُ يُشَاكُها إِلاَّ كفَّر اللَّه بهَا مِنْ خطَايَاه متفقٌ عَلَيهِ. Meaning that every little bad thing that happens to a Muslim, Allah removes some of the Muslim's sins. Alhamdulilah. No one is perfect, we all get out our doubts sometimes, but remember: We owe our whole lives to God so if we really give up on Him everytime a small thing (or big thing) shakes us up, we'd be really dumb. And like you said, Everything is temporary, especially struggling. Keeping the horizon in our sight and no one that we won't be in the dark forever really helps alhamdulilah.
