As a hindu i see many flaws in my religion and many reforms also happened in Hinduism with time but i don't understand why muslims can't see the flaws in their religion. They need serious reforms.
To be honest hindu and buddhism are the only two religions who are scientifically most accurate according to their way of describing the life and how life works.

People have been killed, and is still being legally killed for denouncing their faith in many Islamic countries with Sharia law. I'm not a Muslim and I haven't read the Quran, apart from chapter 9 that Nabeel refers to. He seems to be misrepresenting what that chapter says.. Nabeel claims Ch9 starts by disavowing all treaties with polytheists.. But here is how it starts.. "1. A declaration of immunity from God and His Messenger to the polytheists with whom you had made a treaty." So the polytheists you made treaties with are declared immune from God and his messenger. Nothing about disavowing treaties. Then he refers to chapter 9 verse 5 where it says to "slay the infidels/polytheists wherever you find them and lay seige to them" but he skips the qualifier in Ch9 v4 which explains which polytheists you should leave alone, and thus by deductive reasoning, which ones are the infedels in v5 who should be slain. Ch9 v4 reads "4. Except for those among the polytheists with whom you had made a treaty, and did not violate any of its terms, nor aided anyone against you. So fulfill the treaty with them to the end of its term. God loves the righteous." It's basically advising to honour the treaties with polytheists unless they have violated the terms and conspired against you. It literally says the opposite of what Nabeel claims about disavowing all treaties. And here is the whole of Ch9 v5 and v6, not just the brief line Nebeel mentioned.. "5. When the Sacred Months have passed, kill the polytheists wherever you find them. And capture them, and besiege them, and lie in wait for them at every ambush. But if they repent, and perform the prayers, and pay the alms, then let them go their way. God is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful. 6. And if anyone of the polytheists asks you for protection, give him protection so that he may hear the Word of God; then escort him to his place of safety. That is because they are a people who do not know." There is massive amounts of context before and after the line Nabeel mentions in v5 which almost completely contradicts the picture he tries to paint. Why would Nabeel misrepresent the opening of Ch9 and skip critical points across v4 5 and 6 AFTER telling us that he read into it all thoroughly and did his research.. UNLESS he is illiterate, OR intentionally being intellectually dishonest and deceptive to his audience. It's shocking how egregious his fallacies are and how willing people are to nod along. It's not taken out of context, what nabeel is saying is correct. Why would God address humans using a hostile language and command Muhammed to behead multiple men and distribute their wives and children. Also, read tafsir ibn kathir on chapter 9 of the Quran, you'll understand that nabeel is right.

I was born in a Muslim country where my people have been subjected to obeying the Sharia laws for the past 1,400 years. I know the language and I have studied at school the Quran. Many Muslim people are very good, kind, and peaceful, but when we are talking about the Muslim faith, not the people, there is nothing peaceful about the Muslim faith. When a God demands, you to kill in His name, and promises you virgins, wine, and little boys for sex, and if you die for Him, a God like that is not a peaceful God. How can the creator of the universe and father of all mankind tell you in one chapter of the Quran, that killing is the biggest sin and cannot be ever forgiven, and then in another chapter commands you to kill in His name when you are challenged and attacked, and to force others to confess that Muhammad is the last messenger of God? To all the Muslims of the World, those who read the Arabic language and can understand the Quran, and to those who do not understand the Arabic language, who are Muslims by listening to the head of their Mosque, I sincerely apologize to you all, I know most of your are good and peaceful people, you have been programmed of your Muslim faith, no more and no less, and since I did study at school the Muslim faith and I am educated in the Muslim world, know the history, language, culture and all, I sincerely tell you that the Muslim faith has never been a religion of peace.

People have been killed, and is still being legally killed for denouncing their faith in many Islamic countries with Sharia law. There is no legal representation provided for people who are posed with these charges, so the punishment is arbitary. On top of my head, I remember this; A man proposed that the ruling in Saudi is not right and that Islam should be reformed to accept global standards, that man was sentenced 1000 lashes and 10 years in prison; he didn't protest or anything, he just gave a speech. I'm not a Muslim and I haven't read the Quran, apart from chapter 9 that Nabeel refers to. He seems to be misrepresenting what that chapter says..
Nabeel claims Ch9 starts by disavowing all treaties with polytheists.. But here is how it starts..
"1. A declaration of immunity from God and His Messenger to the polytheists with whom you had made a treaty."
So the polytheists you made treaties with are declared immune from God and his messenger. Nothing about disavowing treaties.
Then he refers to chapter 9 verse 5 where it says to "slay the infidels/polytheists wherever you find them and lay seige to them" but he skips the qualifier in Ch9 v4 which explains which polytheists you should leave alone, and thus by deductive reasoning, which ones are the infedels in v5 who should be slain.
Ch9 v4 reads "4. Except for those among the polytheists with whom you had made a treaty, and did not violate any of its terms, nor aided anyone against you. So fulfill the treaty with them to the end of its term. God loves the righteous."
It's basically advising to honour the treaties with polytheists unless they have violated the terms and conspired against you. It literally says the opposite of what Nabeel claims about disavowing all treaties.
And here is the whole of Ch9 v5 and v6, not just the brief line Nebeel mentioned..
"5. When the Sacred Months have passed, kill the polytheists wherever you find them. And capture them, and besiege them, and lie in wait for them at every ambush. But if they repent, and perform the prayers, and pay the alms, then let them go their way. God is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful.
6. And if anyone of the polytheists asks you for protection, give him protection so that he may hear the Word of God; then escort him to his place of safety. That is because they are a people who do not know."
There is massive amounts of context before and after the line Nabeel mentions in v5 which almost completely contradicts the picture he tries to paint. Why would Nabeel misrepresent the opening of Ch9 and skip critical points across v4 5 and 6 AFTER telling us that he read into it all thoroughly and did his research.. UNLESS he is illiterate, OR intentionally being intellectually dishonest and deceptive to his audience.
It's shocking how egregious his fallacies are and how willing people are to nod along.

And he's not misrepresenting the chapter at all. You don't get his point until you make a study of the hadiths, which can give you the idea of which chapters came when. You put those into a chronological order and you get a much clearer picture of what happened. In fact, if you want to look at the quran as the gospel of islam, you are making a mistake. The hadiths are the gospel. And the biography of Mohammed is like accompanying texts.
So yes, at first Mohammed preached peace and divine retribution for those who don't come to islam. he preached diplomacy and patience. When he gained a following, he was chased off from his home because he was literally causing disorder every goddamn minute. They did not kill him or anything. They chased him off.
So he raided caravans. And even then his followers did not want to fight but he "revealed" to them that Allah said "Fighting is prescribed to you, though you dislike it. But Allah knows what is best for you".
From the start, from the very start, islam was steeped in violence. It only grew more and more violent, culminating in a genocide of jews.
What's more, let's even ignore the above point. I'll steelman your position. Let's say he really is "misrepresenting" the quran. Are the hadith worthless then? Because they paint a different story from whatever you're trying to spin. If they are worthless, you don't really have islam.

I was born in a Muslim country where my people have been subjected to obeying the Sharia laws for the past 1,400 years. I know the language and I have studied at school the Quran. Many Muslim people are very good, kind, and peaceful, but when we are talking about the Muslim faith, not the people, there is nothing peaceful about the Muslim faith. When a God demands, you to kill in His name, and promises you virgins, wine, and little boys for sex, and if you die for Him, a God like that is not a peaceful God. How can the creator of the universe and father of all mankind tell you in one chapter of the Quran, that killing is the biggest sin and cannot be ever forgiven, and then in another chapter commands you to kill in His name when you are challenged and attacked, and to force others to confess that Muhammad is the last messenger of God? To all the Muslims of the World, those who read the Arabic language and can understand the Quran, and to those who do not understand the Arabic language, who are Muslims by listening to the head of their Mosque, I sincerely apologize to you all, I know most of your are good and peaceful people, you have been programmed of your Muslim faith, no more and no less, and since I did study at school the Muslim faith and I am educated in the Muslim world, know the history, language, culture and all, I sincerely tell you that the Muslim faith has never been a religion of peace.

On that cross as Jesus suffered, He took on the sin of the world and was judged in our place; receiving God’s wrath. You and I broke God’s law, but Jesus paid the fine. God can justly forgive us.
On that cross He died, then He was buried, but 3 days later He was raised from the dead - conquering death and Hell and ushering in The Kingdom of God. He then ascended to the right hand of God the Father (where He came from) now Lord of the living and the dead. God has fixed a date when He will judge the world in righteousness - Jesus us coming back. What you need to do is repent (In humility, acknowledge your sin before God and turn to a relationship with Him) and trust ALONE in Jesus Christ and His work on the cross; and God will grant you the gift of the Holy Spirit. Then be baptised.
When you place your trust in Jesus - the Lord and Saviour - these things will happen:
1) God will forgive the sins that you have committed; they were paid for by Jesus at the cross.
2) The perfect life that Jesus lived will be credited to you. He will find you holy and blameless on judgement day (and now), as Christ’s righteousness covers you.
3) You receive a place in Christ’s kingdom as an adopted child of God. God becomes your Father. Eternal life isn’t just about living forever, but a personal relationship with God Himself. That life can start now; The Father will reveal Himself to you if you seek Him.
4) God doesn’t just save you from the penalty of your sin (Hell). He can save you from the power of sin itself. Whoever practices sin is a slave of sin; but when you repent and believe the gospel [WHICH HAS BEEN DESCRIBED] the Holy Spirit comes to dwell in you and sanctify you (working in you to further abandon sin and turn to the will of God). When the end of the age comes, and eternity begins, this work will be brought to completion as you are finally freed from the presence of sin.
Jesus offers to take away your sin and to give you His righteousness; you must receive it by faith. Choose this day if you will align with the world, or with Jesus and His kingdom - only His is eternal.
