About the stats thing, what I do when I have a csv file is to import it to a sqlite table and ask the AI to generate sql queries for the stats I'm looking for, it's way better at that and the siz4 of the csv doesn't matter with that because it won't need to go in the prompt.
13:50 I use AI the most ( like copilot ) exactly for snippets, but not in programming code, but in writing LaTeX. Ultisnips is great, but when I dont have some snippet, copilot can just throw something there
0:31 because engineers making it are aggressively trying to put engineers out of a job with this tech. Did you see what the screen actors guild did when AI came around with the ability to speak realistically, for actors as well as pure voice actors? They secured their own jobs IMMEDIATELY. Not us though! Let build more versions! Let’s build better versions! How long before companies are commonly replacing web developer headcount with AI tools? It won’t be all at once. It’ll be … one fewer on the team. Then after a few years maybe only one full stack web developer to tackle things AI is still struggling with. Instead of a half dozen engineers. What do companies do when they find a cheaper way to do the work? How many dozens of times have we seen it over the years? Where was AI to write code 5 years ago? Where is it now? Where will in be in 5 more years? 10 more years?
I love to see Scott super excited and the camera goes to Wes to show him scanning something on the screen with a dead soul face 😂😂
Wwwwwwwwelcome to syntax
