when I was around 10 maybe my Dad took me on a business trip to pickup a vehicle I remember going somewhere that was so magical and thought I made it up. Thanks for sharing. My parents are not here anymore and this popped up on TH-cam like magic. Thanks!
Thanks for posting. I ate there around 1968 with my family on vacation as a child. I remember my uncle and dad taking me out on the "Super Queen" fishing boat. We caught some nice grouper on some of those trips. We were also there when hurricane Agnes came through and I remember the ocean coming up in the swimming pool at the Craymore Inn. Would love to see the area now, I haven't been for about 50 years. How freaky would it have been, if I had seen myself in your home movies. I kept looking!
Same here I must’ve been somewhere between the ages of four and six years old when I went there with my grandparents and family I heard that lightning struck the tree and it wasn’t the same or something like that ,or one of the trees got destroyed I’m not sure. Do you know what happened?
I remember this place. We used to go to eat here in the 70's when on holiday in Florida. There was also a giant flea market. "Wagon Wheel" flea market ??? It was in Clearwater too. Thanks for posting
We used to go to the wagon wheel . Get brats n Sauerkraut n soda walk around for nothing to do 1975. Park blvd. / ‘pinellas park. I moved from there in 1977. December 02. I only come home to visit once in a while. My brother n his wife still live there. Since 1958.
