Australia without 2 main superstar strikers, they will be underdog in the competition today!

Maybe I should NOT have encouraged you to do some video stories on women's sport because you have picked a good day for American women's sport at the expense of Australia.
You need to acknowledge just how well your women's rugby team played and I watched the game. I also played 15s rugby in High School so I know the game reasonably well.
The Australian team were the 2023-24 World 7s Champions and were dominating this tournament. Our top player Maddison Levi scored 70 points. The next best player in the tournament scored 50.
Australia were red hot going into the tournament and red hot until the second half of the semi-final against Canada when they just malfunctioned. Then in the 3rd place game against America they were up 12-7 and in control. Time ran out but rugby does not stop when the clock hits 0:00 it continues until the next stoppage (ball out of bounds, penalty, score,...). All Australia had to do was stop the game but America didn't stop and then scored a converted try to win 14-12.
Your women's rugby team deserves massive credit for stealing the bronze medal and sending the best team in the world home with nothing.
On the Soccer 2 very important facts.
    1) Megan Rapinoe retired and she was the Tom Brady of women's soccer. If you didn't realise she is very well known around the world.
    2) Australia's top player Sam Kerr did her knee a couple of months ago and was unavailable.
So both teams are having to find their way without their best players.
Australia has struggled a lot more without Sam Kerr than the USWNT has without Megan Rapinoe.
As to the significance of the game. The Olympic tournament is not like the World Cup. There's only 12 teams in 3 groups. Last years world cup (that was in Australia) had 32 teams in 8 groups. In the world cup there's a round of 16 then the quarter finals, while the Olympics goes straight to quarter finals. To get 8 teams for the quarter finals they take the top 2 from each group (6 teams) and then the 2 3rd placed teams with the best record.
RIGHT NOW the 3 third placed teams are Brasil & Australia on 3 points and Canada with zero. Despite 2 wins Canada got penalised 6points because they got caught spying on New Zealand's practice with a drone.
So Brasil and Australia only need to draw their games against Spain and America to go into the quarter finals.
Canada MUST win and also have either Brasil or Australia lose to make the quarter finals.
Brasil is playing Spain the current World Champions, but Spain has already qualified for the quarter finals with 2 wins. Brasil is playing well but lost a heartbreaker to Japan 1-2 with Japan scoring 2 very late goals. So its a real possibility Brasil could win or draw.
Australia has NOT played well and is below their best. They got smacked by Germany 3-0 in the first game and were down 5-2 to Zambia before getting very, very lucky. Meanwhile the USWNT is playing seriously well having just beat Germany 4-1.
BUT like Spain the USNWT has already qualified for the quarter finals so this is a game they can afford to rest players, try new things because the result does not matter. Like for Spain a draw guarantees they win the group.
I think you are right that we can expect both teams to score.
Australia's defense is well below par compared to their world cup performance last year, but they can kick goals.
But I can also see all 4 teams (America, Spain, Brasil and Australia being very happy if these games end in slow paced benign draws where nobody gets exhausted and nobody gets injured before the quarter finals. In men's world cups these sorts of matches almost always end in very slow, very quiet, very boring 0-0 or 1-1 draws.
PLUS, both Spain and America should prefer Canada gets eliminated considering Canada is a genuine gold medal chance.
Its good to see you posting new material.
Although I'd recommend you slow down a bit. As usual you have good material and its well researched but you need to give people a time to absorb it. Take 2 deep breaths and 1 less cup of coffee and you'll be fine.
Next vid - WTF was Green Bay thinking with Jordan Love's new contract?
Go watch Tom Grossi's take on it.
He instincts for how 49er fan would see it is 100%.
