Thank you for your continued work on these much revered classics. I cannot properly explain how moving it is to experience these childhood touchstones in such vibrancy. Myself and my friends loved all the DKC music but I don't remember whether they affected me in quite the same way as they do now in your restorations, all these years later - at least, I probably wasn't tearing up sitting with my mates on the living room floor :) Melancholy is right and the chorus is truly sublime. Surely one of the most iconic cues in all of gaming history. For me, as with Aquatic Ambience, they definitely hold more emotional weight now - 'interlaced' with memories of decades of gaming and the friends I shared them with.

I think the dynamic range needs a tweak. I feel the 2019 mix had better dynamic range at certain points. Sometimes the sound effects get a little too crowded. The segments where the sound effects quiet down sound better and fuller now though. And I rather like how the sound is more spread out now. Personally I prefer the orchestra hit from the 2019 version, this one sounds a bit too... mono/muffled? I know the sample is more accurate, but the definition doesn't quite match the other instruments, yknowwhatimean?
Tracks remade with the original instrument sources used by the developers on the game. These instruments are much higher quality compared to the compressed samples present in the SNES game, which is why these are called restorations. ------TL;DR: Even higher quality versions------
From what I can tell, the synth starting at around 0:20 is slightly different, and the voices at 1:24 have definitely been altered to sound more accurate to the in-game version. I think some of the percussion might have been made a little louder/clearer than before too, but it’s hard to tell

He was buried and rose again from the dead. God will forgive anybody who puts their full trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. We aren’t saved based on our good deeds, but only by the grace of God (Ephesians 2:8-9). His precious blood that He shed is the only reason why we can be forgiven of our sins (Hebrews 9:22). If you confess that Jesus is Lord and believe that God raised Him from the dead, then you’ll be saved (Romans 10:9). You are born-again with the Spirit of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17), and are not only legally justified before God, but also are accredited His righteous (Romans 4:24). Believers live for Christ now, so get to know Him through His Word. I recommend reading the book of Romans and the gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John), and watching Pastor Joseph Prince’s online sermons!
