In all the years I've watched the show, I think that's the only time this ever happened; usually it's the contestants who have to adapt to Chef Ramsay's way of doing things but Petrozza was the one who get Chef Ramsay to adapt to HIS way of doing it because he was that good. Petrozza was probably the best contestant who didn't end up winning.
Except for the fact that there is a valid reason people shouldn’t “work like a pig” in a kitchen: hygiene. Not washing stuff like washing boards and even pans could lead to health hazards. Both Gordon and this guy are lazy in being fine with it just because it tastes good. There is a reason they ought to be washed. There is a reason why it should be done even in this hectic environment where you need to get a lot of work done in a short time. Just like how you shouldn’t continue working on your food after you cut your finger and you’re bleeding.

This was one of the strongest squads ever. Matt almost making it to this point was down right laughable but Bobby,Petrozza,Cory and Christina were solid. Jen was as skilled as them but proved morale is every bit as important as ability

Its a little bit funny. In early seasons of Hell's kitchen its not unusual for plates to be sent back raw (meaning chef ramsay missed it or didnt care). In later seasons that never happens.
I noticed quite a few continuity errors during the sequence where Christina burnt Ramsay's hand. 4:20 - Notice that Ramsay grabs the handle on the pan with his left hand. 4:33 - Ramsay pouring water onto his left hand. 4:43 - Ramsay is suddenly now pouring water onto his *right* hand? 4:53 - Ramsay is holding the spoon in his hand that he uses to show Christina how hot the handle was when she burnt him a *second* time. 5:14 - Scott is suddenly over in the Blue kitchen, despite being next to Ramsay when he got burnt a second time. 5:18 - When Ramsay slams his fist down onto the table, you can notice a chef with a red jacket on (judging by the hair, its likely Christina), meaning that clip was taken from an earlier episode. 5:26 - The clip from 4:43 is repeated again, despite him having burned his left hand AGAIN. Also notice carefully before the scene cuts to Christina, you can notice another chef with a red jacket coming into frame on the left hand side, (appears to be Rosann) meaning it was also from an earlier episode, which they then plastered the background behind Ramsay to make it appear as if it was from this episode. If you look carefully you can see the edges of the frame where they had placed it over the original scene. You can tell the editors really had to try finding ways to extend the scene since the service otherwise went so smoothly.

Its unlikely he was burned on that hand aswell, especially given how brief his right fingers touched the handle in comparison to when he fully tried to grab onto the handle with his left hand.

@@lexibeach1998 I always laugh when a garbage contestant, such as Jen, makes it too far and then returns a 2nd time, only to be embarrassed, because it just goes to show you how wrong he and the entire crew was for keeping them around (and probably did only for entertainment purposes with being a villain). The same goes for many of these clearly pre-planned/pre-determined MasterChef winners by the producers such as season 5's when the other contestants confirmed they faked most of their reactions towards their food, made up bad stuff about their competitor's, and have done nothing ever since the airing of the seasons.
You can see the favoritism, Ramsay usually kicks someone out if they burn him once but he let Christina get away with it twice. Not to mention that whenever someone else warns him on Masterchef/HK in later seasons about hot pans etc he also insults them.

Ramsey passed expection of shrimp. That's why if your new or unfamiliar with a restaurant it's better to ask for protein to get cooked 1 notch higher then desired otherwise cooks tryn to medium rare serve under cooked, and food poisoning will reuion the whole experience, plus next 3 days of your life.

The same goes for many of these clearly pre-planned/pre-determined MasterChef winners by the producers such as season 5's when the other contestants confirmed they faked most of their reactions towards their food, made up bad stuff about their competitor's, and have done nothing ever since the airing of the seasons.

You can see the favoritism, Ramsay usually kicks someone out if they burn him once but he let Christina get away with it twice. Not to mention that whenever someone else warns him on Masterchef/HK in later seasons about hot pans etc he also insults them.
Not really a favoritism. It's a 10 minute clip of a over 2h service. If she's making everything perfect, he can look past 2 burns.

Do NOT burn Chef Ramsay. Did they teach you nothing in cooking school? You have to sear him.
Ramsey passed expection of shrimp. That's why if your new or unfamiliar with a restaurant it's better to ask for protein to get cooked 1 notch higher then desired otherwise cooks tryn to medium rare serve under cooked, and food poisoning will reuion the whole experience, plus next 3 days of your life.
