Make sure to use sufficient sunscreen to cover every part of your skin. Consider it like spreading butter on toast, make sure you cover all areas. Sunlight can penetrate even on cloudy days. Wear sunscreen every day, regardless of the weather. Currently, Littlllextra Rice Berry sunscreen is my favorite. Thanks to its texture and the radiant finish it leaves. I’ve been using it for the past month and so far, no issues. I haven’t had any eye irritation. I even tried it in Dubai and it’s providing good protection.
I have tried the dot key sunscreen before...but similar to you, I am also currently using riceberry sunscreen, with SPF 50 and PA++++ enriched with niacinamide. No whitecast, it’s not heavy, no oiliness after application... It's a holy grail for my oily skin.
So grateful for all the information and education! So tired of these influencers giving out bad information. Only trust a dermatologist! They went to school and dedicated their life to skin 🙌🏼
I’m so grateful to have Dr. Sugai as my dermatologist. He is brilliant and genuinely cares about his patients. Thank you Dr. Sugai for catching my Melanoma early and removing it this month. See you in November.😊
I finished esthetician school and am on my way to getting my license, seeing your videos motivates me to want to go further than just basic esthetics ❤ thank you
Wearing sunscreen everyday is so important to keep our skin healthy. The sun irritates the skin especially those with Rosacea. Thank you Dr. Sugai for sharing and caring 🥰
You sir are awesome. One of the few I trust on TH-cam for skincare advise. Thank you for all you give to us from your brain of knowledge and expertise. It’s always appreciated ❤
When I was a child, sunscreen wasn’t a thing. We used baby oil when in the sun. We have learned a lot. In fact, I went to the dermatologist for years in my teens, and he gave me ultraviolet light treatments each month. That may have contributed to my sun damaged skin…😢
If they were caused by sun exposure a lactic acid moisturizer at night, a retinoid at night. In am a Vitamin C product and always sunscreen. It will take a few months but your skin will be amazing.
RE: the heating up situation, some of these companies need to revisit the way they transport/ship items. I got a package from Sephora yesterday and the vitamin c serum was hot as ever! Didn’t end up using it because I didn’t trust it 😔
❤❓ I always love your advice. I am a retired doctor now in another field of medicine, but wish I had known about your information earlier in life!! I had cystic acne in college, and finally after one year my dermatologist put me on the Accutane Rx. I was one of the first patients in the United States to receive. It was a " miracle" cure. I am 59+ now and people think I am in my late 40s,lol😉. ❓One question I have about enlarged pores - Would Salicylic acid be the best to decrease pore size?! Ty.
.. Ahhhhh!!…..What do you call the study of human regret?….. Anthropology…..the science of human being. Thank you, Dr. Daniel S. You are a busy Doctor.
🙋🏼♀️ Hello hello, Dr. Sugai! Thank you for the quality information you provide and your easy manner. Product testing has been great too! My BIG question? Sunscreen reapplication every two hours. Easy for men, something of a challenge for females with makeup spread across our faces. How can those two compliment each other? Do you have product or "process" recommendations? Does the makeup world need to change to allow all foundations to have built in sunscreen that diminish every two hours? Otherwise it becomes a cakey mess. Do powder sunscreens do the job? What does your wife do? Your younger audience? I cannot find Dermatologists who address this challenge. Please do so!
Wow doctor, well I never my dad had skin cancer on the top of his forehead, into the hairline awful it was! He got it operated multiple times cause it was like a mountain growing in a massive scab!!! Poor guy the he passed... Thank-you for inviting me to this video , I use sunscreen everyday I've also got a tinted serum one.... its retinol I've got sensitive skin I get painful spots and rash...what can I do???
Sure wish I knew about sunscreen when I was younger! I have very few wrinkles at 64, thankfully, but I do have a hyperpigmentation area on the lower left side of my face due to sun damage. Luckily it does not seem to be skin cancer but me and my dermatologist are watching it. Grew up in the day when we sat in the sun with those foil things under our chin to sun tan faster! Of course without sunscreen. How stupid were we!
I would love to hear your opinion on foreo eye serum - they recently started their skincare line and your review would be really appreciated. Thank you!

Can you please discuss what to use for super sensitive skin? Unfortunately, my skin does not tolerate Tretinoin or retinols at all. Thank you.
Do you have a video (or planning on making one) on Korean skincare and what products in that genre actually help and aren't commercial BS?
Check out Dr Dray!

You’re right!! He should just list it all and not give any back information so you can complain about how he didn’t give any reasons for his list. 😒
Thank you
