This video is from the Q&A session of an event where Professor Jeffrey Sachs commented on President John F Kennedy's speech about world peace from June 10, 1963. Prof. Sachs discussed what lessons we can learn from it and apply today. In this clip he discusses Imran Khan and Pakistan.
#ImranKhan #Pakistan #ImranKhanPTI
There are some people who have the courage to speak the truth for helpless Pakistani masses. Professor, you have my respect.
absolutely seconded and subscribed
Thank you Prof. Sachs for standing with justice, the truth!
Thanks for speaking against injustice...love from Pakistan 🇵🇰
the US said "all will be forgiven if you get rid of Imran Khan"
Prof Sachs is very intelligent and a knowledgeable person
Not necessarily. He is mistaken here
@@FarooqKhan-dh8iihe is absolutely right. The US just tried to do the exact same thing in Bolivia. They want to control Bolivia's massive Lithium deposits which are the key critical component for EV batteries.
They also assassinated Saudi King Faisal in the 1970s because he led the oil embargo against those Western countries who supported Israel.
The USA through the CIA has been doing this all over the world for decades.
Those who refuse to see don't want to see.

These are excellent videos America needs, thanks
Thank you profesor Sachs
Long Live Imran Khan and Truth and Freedom ...🎉
It’s truly frightening that things like this can occur at the behest of the US government. I’m so afraid for my country Canada. We need to do something to ensure we become an independent and sovereign nation again because we most certainly are not currently.
100% correct.
As a fellow, Canadian. That makes 2 of us.
Still we have Human beings who speak truth and stand with right . Thank you Prof. Jeffrey Sachs.

Respect to Dr Sachs! Thankyou for being courageous and honest about our leader Imran Khan...
Thank you Mr . Sachs for you reports , Danke .
Bravo! Prof. Sachs!
Thankyou for raising voicefor justice and freedom
I follow and immensely respect Professor Sachs, espcially about the many mistakes, immature mistakes it must be said, that we have historically made, which roughly do not respect other’s agency.
However, we are where we are, and while we sorely need to change our attitudes and national behaviors, we probably will not. What do we then do with the conflicts we have, some responsibility for which we have?
Change to our attitudes and behaviors will not now resolve our foreign policy dilemmas!
God bless you for speaking the truth.
🙋♀️Jeffrey Sachs
Thank you For Telling the Truth!
And it’s not the first time this has happened in Pakistan
Dear Professor Jeffrey David Sachs,
I hope my comment finds you in good health and high spirits. I am writing to express my profound appreciation for your unwavering commitment to truth and justice, particularly in raising your voice against the oppression faced by Imran Khan and his party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
In a world where political integrity often succumbs to pressure and convenience, your courageous stance is both inspiring and commendable. Your advocacy for fairness and transparency in the political landscape of Pakistan has provided a beacon of hope for many who believe in democratic principles and human rights.
Your articulate and passionate support for Imran Khan and PTI in their quest for justice amidst significant challenges has not gone unnoticed. By speaking out against the injustices they face, you have not only highlighted critical issues but also reinforced the importance of moral courage in the global arena. Your efforts resonate deeply with those who yearn for a world where leaders are held accountable, and truth prevails over falsehood.
It takes great resolve to stand against powerful forces and to champion the cause of those who are marginalized and oppressed. Your actions remind us that there are still individuals who prioritize ethical considerations above all else. You have set a remarkable example for academics, activists, and global citizens alike, demonstrating that the pursuit of justice is a universal endeavor that transcends borders and affiliations.
Your voice, characterized by its clarity and conviction, has provided a crucial platform for highlighting the plight of Imran Khan and PTI. It has also underscored the importance of international solidarity in the face of political persecution. The impact of your advocacy is far-reaching, inspiring many to continue their efforts towards achieving a just and equitable society.
Please accept my heartfelt gratitude for your invaluable contributions. Your dedication to upholding the principles of truth and justice is a testament to the power of integrity and the enduring impact of principled leadership.
Thank you once again for your unwavering support and for being a steadfast ally in the fight against oppression.

Thanks Prof. Sachs ❤ for having with Justice.
We want independent Pakistan, good democracy and independent foreign policy with no meddling from outside.
Pakistan is neutral in foreign policy like others:India,US-China ,Russia-Europe etc are involving mutual trader with billions USD
Pakistan can trade with China Russia and US for its economic stability.
I am surprised that the State Department has such short-sighted policies. No wonder the US has failed everywhere in the last 70 years: Vietnam, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, Iraq, Cuba, Venezuela, Ukraine, and so on.
Great vlog. Keep it up

My gratitude from Pakistan.. Imran khan is jailed unlawfully.. In Pakistan there is no justice for a dignified one.. He is our only hope who can bring the whole country together..
❤
its time for imperialism to fall
The brilliant Mr Jeffery Sachs, we appreciate your Truthfulness regarding Pakistani politics and especially the way State Departments third grade officer Mr Donald Lu,started the coup against the most popular leader of Pakistan.
👌
Correct
Richard Sakwa: "Universal Monroe Doctrine"
Exactly that BS Monroe doctrine.
US do as I say. Not as I do.
Bajwa was the main culprit. US removed Khan from govt using Bajwa and the puppit politicians.
I think us should change his foreign policy ,must be best for the interest of us and people of the relevant country..
US State Dept has become a national shame and liability -- maybe time to dissolve it permanently
Free Imran khan
As a Pakistani and someone who watches Prof Sachs regularly, who has read a lot about US establishment's interventionist policies, i would like to add some context.
- Khan's popularity is undeniable and it is shocking to see how many seemingly educated people have snoozed their thinking abilities to the PTI after living lives of frustration out of hatred for military's meddling.
- There is no doubt he was created by the military as its own prop in the first place. In the process, they created the perfect storm for themselves and are now regretting it!
- As someone who's always seen the military's propaganda play on the Pakistani mindset, i call it Karmic justice!
That said,
- Khan is a classic populist Zealot with a God complex. Anyone can read the conditions for God complex and realize that.
- He shows utter lack of self-accountability, his megalomanic mind has the highest confirmation bias and narcissism that i've ever seen in a Pakistani politician.
- Objectively, he shows virtually every single red flag that other political powers like PML-N and PPP have shown, its just that he comes in a charming celebrity package!
- In summary, he created an unprecedented momentum, a third political force in Pakistan that few thought was possible but that force is a poisonous mix of right wing fundamentalists, woke leftists and pseudo-intellectuals who'd break the fabric of the nation unless they get what they want.
All said, nothing justifies dethroning anyone through illicit means. Our fledgling weak democracy could be better without external forces!
From India 🇮🇳 we want Sharifs and Zardaris because they are the real friends of India and Modi jee

America has lost goodwill of Pakistani people.
Shallow and egregiously detached from reality.
IK himself was brought into power by the establishment, that is the greatest omission in the narrative. IK and his team proved to be extremely incompetent, and that's why the establishment stopped supporting him. PTI govt borrowed $49.23bn in its mere 45-month stint, which more than doubled the debt owed and set in motion a financial disaster for the next government which barely avoided bankruptcy. IK would have been dismissed from power within 1 year had it not been for COVID19.
And how is the current 'government' fairing? Has poverty decreased, and the quality of life improved for the majority? Or have things got worse? How about the national debt?
@@munawarjbaksh7875 People will give their verdict on that in the next elections in 2029.
Off the mark
