So basically Miku finds her mother str@ngle her father and brother to death, so she runs and hides. But her mother finds her and str@ngles her as well.

Dang. I thought it was just a really @busive mom who just hated her kid and finally had enough. Didn’t know that she (the mom) could get any worse tbh :/
My interpretation now that I know this (aka how I think it “played out”):
the children laughing at the beginning could then maybe be her brother (or maybe sister? I’m not sure) and herself (Miku).
Then they hear their mom doing something and their dad yelling. the mom then calls down the brother and Miku has no idea what is going on.
But when Miku finds out, she runs away and hides. Then her mother finds and k!lls her by strangling in the same way as the others, a slow and painful d3ath…
The last thing we hear could very well be Miku being strangled to d3ath by her mom. The splashing could resemble how she saw her family get k!lled, with perhaps them getting st@bbed in some way by the mom after getting strangled to “finish them off”.
It all makes sense, and it’s even more dark with this view🥲

If you listen to the rreversed verrsion of the song, the reversed seems to take place a few weeks/days before the forward one, because it says "In a few weeks/days, i will be dead"
Edit: Her stuttering while saying okaasan in one part of the song is probably when her neck got broken and she was trying to speak. Maybe its just a strange part of the song though.

Sort of creepy story I have about this song: so one night I was on a sleepover with my two friends, and we were just chilling upstairs in my gaming room (the sleepover was at my house) and we were all having a conversation about something that I can’t remember. But something that one of said prompted one of my friends (who isn’t a vocaloid fan by the way, as he legit can’t name a single other vocaloid than miku. This song just so happened to be the very few vocaloid songs he knew) to play this song, however he warned us both that the song was scary. My other friend (who isn’t a vocaloid fan at all) didn’t want to listen to it once she heard the description of the song, and she left the room. I on the other hand, was (and am still) a huge fan of vocaloid (not just miku) and although I’d heard of Okaasan, I hadn’t been brave enough to listen to it myself (despite the fact that I am a horror fan) but I decided “you know what, I’m gonna listen to it. Can it really be that bad?” So I stayed where I was. The song plays and I wasn’t creeped, I was just sitting there thinking “this is just like all the other horror songs I’ve listened to, what’s so special about this”. That was until the song reached the last part (the part where the music stops and hear miku’s voice sort of glitching out) and then I was creeped out (it didn’t help that it was nighttime). Anyway when the song ended, my friend who had gone out of the room came back in. When we asked if she’d heard the song since she was standing right outside the door, she said she just heard a low buzzing sound coming from inside the room. After that we just continued on with our night, not even mentioning the song, so I’d sort have forgotten about it. But that night I was really creeped out by the song, so creeped out in fact, that I couldn’t even sleep. But by the next morning I’d forgotten about it. Some weeks later me and my parents were staying at my cousins house for Easter, and on the way home I decided to play this song for some reason. I don’t know why, it was late at night and I was alone at the back of the car while my parents were up the front of the car. Anyway, since this is crucial to the story, I just wanna mention that my the booth of my dads car is one of those booths where there’s no sort of roof over the booth so if you turn around you can see into the booth. Anyway when it gets to the part that creeped me out last time, I suddenly feel something grab me around where my shoulders are and pull me back, and I pulled away. Even tho I probably just imagined it since I was already creeped out a bit, that really scared the ever living crap out of me. I know most people in that situation would probably turn on the car light and look in the booth, but I didn’t think of that at the time, so I just sat there wondering what the hell just happened. Now I’m absolutely terrified of the song thanks to that occurrence. I can’t even hear the opening anymore without my blood running cold. Anyway that’s all. Sorry for the long comment.
