Finally, have been waiting this model review since Apr.
Thank you Andrew.
Thank you for the amazing live, Andrew! I'd say, Lenovo is on the ball this year! Yoga line-up, ThinkBook 13x Gen 4 - pretty decent devices with the best PC sound, Magic Bay Light, ForcePad, almost the fastest 7500-8500MHz ram and so on... They nailed it! Now waiting for the ARM :)
Agreed!
Best PC sound is Dell. And I refer to the Inspiron Plus’s as well.
Andrew, you have one of the best, if not the best unboxing/review channels on TH-cam. Thanks for all the great content. I can't wait to see all the new ProArt machines on your table!
Thanks!
I bought one in April in the UK. It did come with the sleeve but a flat one so the magnets worked! I returned it though, it just wasn't enough of an upgrade over my Gen 7 version with the 1260P processor. Waiting on a Yoga Slim 7x now,
Currently own this PC in a lunar grey colour; so far no regrets. Coming from someone who has used thinkpads over 7 years now.
Just caught the replay. Awesome unboxing and testing of the 2024 Lenovo Yoga 9i 2-in-1 Andrew! 😁
Looks like one might could reprogram those keys on the right side of the keyboard as being page up/down and home/end. As page up/down keys makes it real easy to scroll down webpages, PDF files, and news articles, which makes it easier if you say have arthritis.
WOW I am from Iraq. You are the pinnacle of creativity. I am following with passion
Awesome video! The laptop is pretty nice so far. I have the 32gb 60hz with the 4k display. The pen charges with USB-C under the end cap which is cool.
Thanks for the info!
Hi, Andrew!. If you could use the "crab song", that would be much better to test the speakers.
It seems irrational now not to buy/wait for a Snapdragon X Elite.
or even lunar lake
@@ednoet2these are still months away… most OEM just updated to Meteor Lake, so it may take at least 6 months to see proper options
Just watched the replay of this livestream. This appears to be a very good pc. These manufacturers with all these screwy naming conventions of their pc offerings makes it somewhat confusing. They all need to do a much better job in the naming of their offerings. Again great livestream.
Thanks William
Yeah agreed, lenovo have great engineers they make solid laptops with great cooling but terrible naming convensions
lenovo is awesome!
Can you tell please whether the usb-c ports on both sides can be used to charge the laptop (so not just the left side)?
Yes charges from either side
I bought one today it did not come with any pen or sleeve here in the US unfortunately.
My problem with Lunar Lake, Qualcomm, and at least the initial Ryzen "AIBS" 300 series? Soldered/Apple-style unified memory. LPCAMM2 is a thing that exists now... There's no justification for soldered RAM/storage/wifi on run of the mill laptops. Very interested to see these new Qualcomm machines, especially Linux support (the bring-up on ARM is more complicated than x86-64 and has to be done custom for each processor/board - Its not as "plug 'n pray" as Intel/AMD)... Redmond's spyware/malware/adware masquerading as an OS has no relevance to my own use (though I do have to, on a limited basis, support it for clients).
i would like to win that lg gram pro oled but only can purchase thru lg amazon ill good review by the way as always
Nice live unboxing!!! But I bought one when they just came out a few months ago... Sent it right back ... Screen door effect is ANNOYINLGY present! Apart from that and not being ARM CPU/GPU (heat and less battery) it's just perfect... But the screen just KILLS it! The 4K is better but then the 60hz kills it ... Pfff a perfect Windows X64 laptop just doesn't exist ... Yet...
Screen door effect and Moiré effect are the same thing? Anyone please tell me.
@@abcdef7660 yes, it's the same thing in this context
@@abcdef7660 yes the same
@@abcdef7660 it is a pitty because apart from that it is the best laptop in his class you can find, best Windows laptop speakers ! Bass is great, the only competition for a macbook pro 14!!!
Are you saying the 4k version doesn’t have the screen door effect, or that it does, but not as bad as the 2.8k?
Best review ever!
So you had a great time with Acer (; (:
We should wait and see how this holds up versus the Intel, Qualcomm, and Apple competition.
He does bash apple when it is called for and I like that...the storage and ram thing is really not right. And the discoloration with the keycaps WTH...nobody else has a problem with that.
Will there be any Linux variants
Lenovo typically offers them on their Thinkpad lines. I don’t know about the Yoga line.
*02:18* 🤣
With that price, I would rather get the G14 Zephyrus with 4060 GPU
After wow how do you work without escape key? If you don’t use keyboard…then it is ok i guess
