I just hooked my A2 amplifier up yesterday. Im stunned at the difference between the A2 and my vintage Adcom Gfa535. The louder i turn it the closer the stage gets.

I always smile when I hear things like "10 thousand microfarads" instead of "10 farad". Even multimeters have scales for such readings, as an ease of use and a rapid+valid perception. But hey, marketers like it huge and microscopic at the same time 😄

It's a very good amp. I have the BasX A2. However, it is by no means a competitior to a comparable $2,000 entry level audiophile power amp. After 6 months, I am ready to trade up. It is very good at its price point.
