Thank you! It was a great material to use for sure. I’ll hopefully have an update on the surrounding scene in the near future. Thanks for watching and your support! 👍
You surprised me. Using the “Yard Sign” material was a great idea. I’m stealing it. My changes might be using “L” shaped styrene to cover the top and end’s where the “end grain” of the yard sign material shows. You thought outside the traditional box! I’d approach one of your local groups with a clinic idea, you’ve already given me one here. GOOD JOB!
Thanks Paul! Really appreciate the kind words. I loved using this material and glad you’re gonna give it a shot as well. Very easy to work with and the cost is great. Thanks for watching and your support! 👍
Awesome…Awesome…great build…really captures the essence of the auto facility…once the supporting scenery and details are added, it’ll be a perfect signature scene
very good job man, i used the same sign material for a big warehouse, it would cost a fortune to buy a large structure like yours great stuff for scratchbuilders👍
Thanks Dee! I agree, an arm and a leg for sure if I went with a kit or some other material. Glad to hear you’ve used it as well as I highly recommend it to anyone. Thanks for watching and for your support!
Love it. I like the creative solution to your build. I've taken notes! Looking forward to seeing the rest of the area come together. It will be a focal point of your layout. Thank you for sharing.
I think it looks a lot better than pretty good. You did a great job scratch building the auto plant and with an inexpensive material that is easy to work with. On the livestream someone asked you if you used a primer before painting and you said no but the paint you used has the paint and primer combined. I put this on here in case someone following your tutorial would know to use a primer so the paint doesn’t peel or scratch off. I hope you don’t mind. If so let me know and I will remove it. The building looks incredible, nice job.
Thank you for putting this in the comments! You’re right, I misspoke last night and forgot it included primer with the spray paint. I should have mentioned that for sure. I really appreciate the kind words! I’m pretty happy with where this scene has gone so far. More to come! Thanks for watching!
Man, and I thought I had a new product using Palight for my fascia and for a lot of other purposes, but this is just cool. Yard sign material. I like the pattern it gives it. Looks like vertical siding. The sheer size of those building is fantastic. Well done.
Hey I love your fascia video. That material is awesome. Wish I had a contact/avenue like you do for that because my layout is begging for affordable fascia! I agree about the vertical siding. Really gives it a nice texture I think. Thanks for the compliment and your continued support!
Very well done. A nice BIG industrial building that does not cost a fortune to build.
Thanks Ken! Yes this certainly was an affordable way to go and I really enjoyed working with the material. Thanks for watching! 👍
