Don't use ez track is the answer. Ez track good to use around xmas tree nothing else.

Does ballasting quiet down the EZ track? If not do you have any tricks to put something under the roadbed to quiet it down?

Great Job, I am just starting out again. I have a small setup but nothing fancy in the basement but taking it down and going to do a dream retirement project. Ideas( in the gondolas add materials, your coal hoppers add foam to bottom, add litter, paint black for realism,

Once winter comes you should have more time. Look into setting up dcc

Next run, you decide to video make some stuff for them, gondolas to carry

Family time is more valuable. I use to upload every week or twice a week. Now since I have been a railroader, I post when I can. You can even do shorts which is more viewed than longer videos if you still want to upload content. Keep it up man! Always look forward to what have in store!
