    need some information Have been watching bookmark video and bookmarks seen to be quite thick. Could you tell me how deep (thick) the bookmarks are, and can I not fill them all the way to make them thinner? They are beautiful.

    Love this!!! I just started making bookmarks last week but it's sort of sticky any suggestions???

    • @mocalife8099
      @mocalife8099  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      How exciting! When it fully hardens it won't be sticky. Generally takes at least 24-48hrs depending on the temperature.

  • @reesamann4758

    Did you add another coat of resin? And was it completely hard after 24 hours mines take about 3 days .

    • @mocalife8099
      @mocalife8099  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It would take about at least 24hrs to be completely dry. We've experienced with warmer room temperature it's faster to cure, but during colder days it can take up to 2-3 days to be completely harden. We've added the resin according to what you saw in the video, no additional resin added besides what we've shown. Hope this helps. :)

  • @akhamsaly
    @akhamsaly 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    When it’s completely cured, are the bookmarks a little bendy kind of like rubber? Or is it solid like acrylic?

    • @mocalife8099
      @mocalife8099  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      It should be hard and solid like acrylic.

  • @arachannel1259
    @arachannel1259 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    which formula did you use to mix resin? 3:1? 2:1? or 1:1?

  • @kawaiiicrafts4237
    @kawaiiicrafts4237 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hii i use acrylic resin thats ready mixed. The edges of my book mark and face that touches the silicone is alwayd sticky? Is it because of the resin im not sure? Can you help me

    • @mocalife8099
      @mocalife8099  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven't used resin that's already mixed before so I'm not really sure. Maybe try using the kind where you need to mix, and make sure the ratio is exactly according to the instruction. How long have you waited? Maybe it takes longer to fully harden?

    • @mocalife8099
      @mocalife8099  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you're using UV resin, you will need to put it under the UV light for it to harden instead of letting it naturally hardening.

    Hiii ... I want ask you, is it epoxy resin and hardener epoxy different or same ? Cuz i just planning selling this 😊 I hope you can help me

    • @mocalife8099
      @mocalife8099  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmm to be honest I'm not sure either. Haven't heard of hardener epoxy, we just use epoxy resin. 😅

    • @sheonnehaughton217
      @sheonnehaughton217 ปีที่แล้ว

      Some epoxy resin have part A and part b which means one part is the hardener.

  • @thecoloredstone6297

    • @mocalife8099

      Commonly used epoxy resin brands are Art Resin Epoxy Resin and DR. CRAFTY Clear Epoxy Resin Kit. Try those! :)

  • @barbaralig

    I'm having a hard time getting my bookmarks hard. They are are kinda bendy even when I fill the mold completely. Are they supposed to be bendy? are yours bendy as well?

    • @jatinhemnani6111
      @jatinhemnani6111 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Probably cause of unproper resin and hardner ratio
      Or sudden change in weather..
      I made my first piece yesterday
      It was bendy too.
      Lets see
      I made again today
