These are so beautiful! You did a wonderful job - thank you so much for the inspiration! I’m starting to get my toes into resin (no pun intended) and was wondering how to put words/scriptures into resin art and this is perfect!!
I'm Thai. I'm trying to make resin, but it hasn't worked. I tried to study many methods. But your clip made me understand a lot more. Gave me a lot of knowledge. I feel lucky to have found your clip. Thank you for sharing. Your work is very beautiful.
Lovely bookmarks, I would jus like to know how can you prevent from bending as I have made before and they were bendy, I want to make another one, without it bending.
Thank you! I have a friend who wants me to make bookmarks for his church group & this is going to be so much easier than trying to figure out the library's vinyl cutter. Well provided I can get the black ink working on my printer again anyway.
Hi, you may have figured this out by now, but I imagine you would save a lot of time if you had simply created a text box in word or whatever you are using with the dimensions of your bookmark (or slightly less for margins), then print it out already formatted, instead of doing each line individually. I am bout to get started with Resin art myself as soon as the supplies come in. Been wanting to figure out the best way to handle prints, so glad to see the stickers work. Curious if you are using a 100% clear, or if one of the frosted solutions work. Or if waterproof matters in this application. Seems there are a lot of transparent options that end up being frosted, or not 100% clear.
Thanks John for your idea and will definitely try it. 😉 I used a transparent vinyl sticker that is 100% clear and does not frost when placed on resin and it is also important that the sticker is waterproof to avoid any problems.
Hi KastingHub, Beautiful!! Can you please tell me if you used a matte or glossy transparent vinyl sticker for this project? I couldn't tell by following your link. Thanks in advance!
Hi Elaine thank you for stopping by. In my case, I don't coat my vinyl with anything as long as the print is dry it won't smudge. I recommend using a good quality Vinyl. 😊
Hello mimi thank you for stopping by. You can also make rein art like this, I know that its not gonna be easy at first but with patience and determination. I know you can also do it😊
HI there do these bend a little if you over handle them? I have tried this twice and they break s. Am I using too much of 1 thing and not the other? Please help me they are beautiful and I would love to master this. They are easy enough but where am I going wrong?
Hi Moko, It can be normal for some resins, when poured in a thin layer, to be bendy. Some resin can be flexible after the full cure time. It may get harder by giving it more curing time, but that doesn’t always work. If you want to give the resin extra time to cure, make sure it stays warm and give it another two to seven days to fully cure. Another is your resin may be old or they haven't been stored properly. Also using colours not designed for resin may add water to your resin this may result in bendy, breakable pieces or resin cures sticky. If you think you try everything and still these problems occurred try to consider changing your resin brand. I hope these will help you, don't be so hard on yourself success always comes with failures, keep trying and experimenting 🙂
@@Artshabits yes I used vinyl sticker sheets with adhesive, always wait for 1st layer to cure, but when I pour final laye edges came of sticker and then they pop on top layer looks very unfinish
Hi, thanks for stopping by. Here are some reasons why resin becomes bendy. 1. Make sure you have equal parts of the resin and hardener. 2. Mixed thoroughly 3. Do not add too much colorant 4.Give time to fully cure 3-7 days 👉One possible solution though is to carefully measure and mix another batch of resin & hardener to pour on the bendy piece to add strength and support. I hope this helps 🙂
Hello! I really love your works! I just wanna know if the doming process is the mixture of both resin and hardener with the same ratio you used when you did the first layer?

Do the vinyl outlines disappear with the resin topcoat?
Hi Carmen, They are not very visible when coated with resin.
7:52 how long do u let it cure
I usually cure it overnight or at least 6 hours before attaching the stickers.
These are so pretty! I just bought molds, can’t wait to start making these. What did you use for the words? That looked easier than using vinyl.
Hello there, thanks for visiting. Actually I used vinyl sticker 🙂
Love This ❤️
Thank you Sandy ❤️
Can I use a regular printer or does it have to be inkjet printer?
Hi Margie,
This kind of transparent vinyl sticker is only compatible with Inkjet printers.

Hi Lee thank you for watching. Yes you can use transparent stickers
@@Artshabits you're welcome thank you for give me inspiration
This is amazing! How did you do the scripture stickers?
I printed it on a transparent vinyl sticker.
@@Artshabits lamminating or not?
Hi, edges of my stickers sometimes came out in after pouring resin, and then it ruined all my work, any tip? What I'm doing wrong?
Hi thank you for stopping by. Use a vinyl sticker with an adhesive, let the resin cure before attaching your vinyl and then dome it.

Hi Rakkshita thank you for visiting my channel. The golden paper is called Gold Flakes
It's adorable omg😭🍓Can i color resin with water or acrylic colors or it shall be powdered
Hi thank you for watching. You can use acrylic paint, alcohol ink or resin pigment but don't add too much or else resin will not cure properly.
Mhm yeah appreciate the work but why is the song so catchy? 😁
😅 Actually the original song was copyrighted so TH-cam chooses the song😁
